"Not clones." She said exasperated. Why did everyone assume clones? Why did everyone want to drag them off to somewhere else? Why couldn't they just have five minutes to discuss strategy? They should have talked more on the plane before dealing with other people. But everyone was fighting. Like normal.
"Honestly, the strangest thing here is Wolverine as a woman." She sighed, leaning in to give Oliver support if he needed it. She could have her leg give Flynn an option other than dragging himself around, but also he had done the same thing Amelia had and was gone as far as she could tell. At least Maria hadn't flipped. Maybe SHIELD should do personality tests before making teams. She glanced at Bonnie knowing that she could not be pleased with Flynn losing himself to his counterpart. She wondered with Maria remembering both why? What difference was there? Or was it by chance that one remembered their world? It also made her worried about what would happen to her. So far she had the memories of her first life, changed by the time travel she had done, and the House of M memories. Only the version of her that had known all three was fading and shifting to this world. At least here she was with Oliver and she wouldn't lose him. Her heart ached at the very idea of that and she wrapped her arm around him.

Matt was confused again. It seemed as if Flynn had gone the way of Amelia. Would it get better if they separated them? Would their Amelia, currently believing she belonged to this world, even go with them? "We should see if separating the counterparts gets memories back." He said to Cass.
There was a great risk. If enough of their group forgot they'd forget their mission and maybe get stuck here. He did not want that. He knew he and Cass weren't together here as they had already met her counterpart. But why hadn't her memories been replaced? Why hadn't Maria's? Why had only Amelia and Flynn's?
