"I am not a captain." Emzie said seriously. They didn't have a rank since they were a droid. As they were distracted with their response, they did not catch. Instead, the lightsaber flew past them and landed a few meters away. Emzie picked it up and stored it. "I also do not have the programing to use a lightsaber." There was no need to mention Emzie wasn't force-sensitive; that was obvious by the simple fact that they were a droid. Or maybe now it wasn't as obvious of a fact.

Emzie removed their blaster. The point Raynor had made was true. These droids did not have shields. So Emzie's blaster would work against them. They fired one shot at a droid, hitting it, and while it survived that first blast, the next two went a little wide, missing the droid Emzie had been aiming at. Emzie did not seem pleased. If they were capable of frowning, they would be.

Ed got thinking. About Stark and about the whole thing happening to them. A nice answer would be that what happened to Stark was tied to what happened to them. But he doubted it. Even if it was an interesting development.

"Is there a way to pull him into this reality properly?" If Strange had access to what he called the Mirror Dimension, why not be able to pull people from other ones too? His question was more a generalized one to everyone in the group rather than pointed at Strange. He wasn't certain about the Strange from this reality. Ed had decided to be untrusting here. Knowing that he couldn't make assumptions of people based on what he knew about them from their reality.

Andy did not like being caught in the middle of this. She watched Zari leave. Her speech had said a lot. More than Zari had said in one go so far about her past and why she was here. Most of it Andy had known from picking up bits and pieces up to this point. She hadn't known the whole prophecy. "I promised I'd help her." She told Magento. Her voice was barely over a whisper. But it should be loud enough for him to hear her.

"Zari." She said, hurrying after her friend. She didn't go to her room and gather her scant things. She had her jacket. And the only thing in her room she cared about was her pillow, but that would come to her wherever she went to sleep so she wasn't totally worried. "Where do you want to go?" Andy felt guilty for this. She had asked for Zari's help to help Magneto feel better. That had failed horribly, and now Zari was upset too. Andy had no way to fix this. If she could turn back time and made it so she had never brought up the idea to Magneto, maybe the fight wouldn't have happened. But she doubted that. Zari and Magneto were too different.

Rose tried to not show the worry she carried, but some of it dropped away when Merlin went with her. Even more, dropped away when Merling confirmed that the man was Lancelot. She couldn't help the sigh of relief. If Merlin believed the man was Lancelot it was unlikely he wasn't. Though she imagined it was possible Maleficent had him under her control somehow. But if Merlin was going to trust him then she would as well.

"Glad to know. Merlin, how would you like to proceed?" She knew there were a couple of ways this could go from here, but she figured if Merlin was fine bringing Lancelot along Robin Hood wouldn't care. She was also glad that Merlin was asking what Rosalia had been doing by wandering off in the first place. At least she had done as he had asked and found her. Rose didn't care if the rest of the trip was spent in mutual ignoring each other. She had a lot of opinions of Rosalia and none of them were good. But Rose knew how to keep that to herself. She worked in customer service.

Once past the guards, Colby let out a small sigh of relief. His bravado was only a facade. He had been extra nervous when Willow got searched. Neither Willow nor Maddie was prepared for a life of lying. However, they had made it past the guards and into the party. Now they had to look natural for a little bit before they could get to the vault. He hoped his dad or the Mad Hatter knew the layout of the place and could find the vault.

He took a look at the scenery before them. The palace was grand. Colby was excited about the idea of getting to go inside it. He wondered if he would get to dance with someone. Though he doubted society would allow him to dance with Maddie, he could probably get away with dancing with Willow. And she wouldn't think he was flirting with her.

Andy felt safer nestled by her aunt. She was thankful she would be on the quest with her aunt. Though upset it wasn't also with Arthur. She figured not everyone could travel with only those they wanted to. If so the group would be very differently divided. And probably lose the important groups of three. Currently, there were nine of them in the van.

She leaned a little into her aunt when asked how she was doing. There wasn't a good response to that. She could lie and say she was fine. But she wasn't and she didn't want Arthur to hear her lie. So she went for a shrug. That was as good a response as any. She also half-listened to what Kiera and Leda said to Arthur. Suddenly a pang of anxiety hit her and she was mad that they got to be on an adventure with him and she would miss out on some inside jokes or something. Dangers aside, he would change over the quest, maybe the change would be too much and it would put a wedge between them.

It was fairly quiet in the van. Some small conversations were happening. She smiled when Mads joined them. "I'm alright." She smiled. Then looked over at Stella and Jason. "Jason, I know you've been to California. But what about you Stella?" Niah considered California her home as she had lived there for so long. Though when she thought of her mortal life she considered the Philipines as home. She of course hadn't talked to Stella much so she had no idea about the girl's past.

The three of them probably would be getting to know each other pretty soon. Niah knew the way to where they were headed. But despite having lived in California for years she didn't know much of the state beyond the Bay Area. There was a lot of traveling that would be done though. They had to get all the way from New York to California. And this time they didn't have the flying ship that the Greeks had shown up with.

Ed didn't understand why Guin was making a joke about the Bechdel test in this case. If she had wanted to go on a mission with one of the females then why didn't she say so? And he had asked about Lance as that was the first name that had popped into his head from the others. She was a strange one. He ran, listening to their footfalls behind him. And thankfully it was only the three of them. They didn't seem to be followed.

They ran for several blocks before Guin found an entrance to the sewer. He climbed down, ready to help Thalia with the cover if she needed it. Once that was secure he followed after Guin who knew the way back to the headquarters. If Ed had been lost above ground in a city he had never lived in before the minor apocalypse plaguing it, he was certainly lost below ground.
Emzie was pleased that Raynor defeated the strange droid. They were uncertain of what to think about his instance that the droid was alive. This would be something they would have to discuss when not under the time crunch of their current mission. Checking their internal chronometer. The battle above the planet was waging. They could still hope that their success here would help the battle above. But it might have been too late already.

"I still only have a blaster. An ineffective weapon against destroyer droids." Emzi said mater of factly to Raynor. They still fired at the droid trying to prove their point. But in the moment of shooting at it, the droid's shield seemed to falter and the blast hit it directly destroying it. Emzie looked at the droid. "It seems I have succeeded in destroying the destroyer droid." Their voice carried a hint of amusement.

"We should continue moving immediately. Our mission is already behind." Emzie started down the hallway following the line on their map. Whatever luck that had allowed Emzie to kill the droid did not hold for them as they came to a t-section of the hallway where the guard station was located. There was luck in the type of guards they found though. There were seven B1-Series battle droids. A lot, maybe too many, but a weaker type than the destroyer droids.

Zari had had enough. She wanted to leave. And that was fine with Andy. Before Andy could turn to follow Polaris had spoken again. Andy could understand Magneto's anger. That didn't change the small snap in her. The one that had lost faith that'd she be happy here now.

Magento asked for his token back. She looked at him, her eyes wide. A degree of fear was written on her features. What had just happened was irreconcilable. She saw the rift between Zari and Magneto and knew there would never be a bridging between the two again.

Andy had wanted to step out for air. For a moment of quiet to think, but now she knew that leaving was forever. Her heart was with Zari. "Can we get our things?" She asked quietly, she had so few things. Her eyes looking to the ground. Memories of fights with foster families played through her mind.

"There is nothing wrong with clones. Just that we aren't. And I don't care if you're a woman or not." Niah shrugged. Unconcerned with the threat of Wolverine's claws. She seemed more tired then scared. Most of her response was directed at Wolverine though. She did then glance at Flynn and said, "It is more it is getting old being called that."

Niah chewed over the thought of having a psychic fiddle with her memories and wondered what sort of nonsense that would do to her brain. It was pretty scrambled and had taken a while to get her memories sorted between the different worlds. That probably would have been easier with the help of a psychic. She looked at Maria when she mentioned that Prism was this world's Novi. If anyone could go 'ah yeah these guys are from another universe' it'd be her. That was reassuring actually. And she looked forward to meeting her.

Then they were teleported away to yet another location. Niah didn't look around too much. She was too focused on Oliver. She was torn when they were told that those who were uninjured should leave. That would mean leaving Oliver. Something she did not want to do. She spent a moment pulling at the thought. Was it her own? Or was it her counterparts? "Oli, will you be okay?" She asked. She knew the answer she wanted.

"I'll be okay, but I'd rather you stay with me. I know it's selfish, but I love you and I don't want to be alone through this." Niah gave him a small smile in return and nodded. Refusing to leave.

Matt chooses to keep his mouth shut. Sometimes that really is the best course of action. He wasn't fond of the idea of being taken to Genosha. At least here there wasn't the innate hatred for Inhumans that the Mutants had back home. There were good reasons, but it didn't mean it was right.

When they were teleported away he was a little irritated. But was stunned by the beauty of the place. He wondered if there was a place like this on their world Genosha. If so, how had either been created? It looked primordial.

He was injured so he stayed. Waiting to see what happened. His injury wasn't bad at least. Flynn was obviously the one who should be cared for first. He glanced at Bonnie and wondered if she would allow herself to be examined.

Ed hugged Annie back tightly. Smiling at her. "I'm glad you're okay too. You'll have to tell me what all you guys did while we were separated. Later, when we have some quiet time." He nodded as Mary explained their experiences. He was curious about what the other group had encountered. For now, though they should work on how to get home. Going to Stark tower seemed like it could be a good idea. Hopefully, there wasn't another group there. But that was unlikely.

When Strange entered the room and made Stark appear Ed was surprised. Stark was dead here. His death had been a major catalyst for this world. Had his spirit just been watching it all fall apart? That had to be unpleasant. He wondered for a moment if his sister's spirit still roamed the world and had seen him. If so what did she think of all he had done?
