Rose listened intently. She didn't mind which team she was on, but she would want to be with Cassiopeia. "Either team is fine for me. But I'd rather stick with Cassiopeia this time." She was thankful that this time things had worked out, but she didn't want to not be by Cassiopeia's side.

"We can do recon before the others show up. Unless you know they will be here tomorrow morning or something. How far is the castle from here?" She asked Merlin and glanced at Flynn. Either one could answer.

"Ah, that sounds nice." He said, keeping the smile plastered on his face even as Rumpel noticed them. That was really bad. They needed to go. Immediately. He let Willow lean into him. It helped him too. "I suppose that puts a wrinkle in the rest of our night." He looked for his dad.

"Let's go meet with the rest of the family." He offered his arm so she could properly hold onto that and started crossing the room to where his dad was. When they arrived, he kept a smile on his face. They converged with Maddie, who had already said something to their fathers.

Niah smiled. A true genuine smile. There had been some rough times when that smile had disappeared, but any of them that had known her since before Ultron would recognize it. She was happy. Yeah, things might be bleak, but she was happy. Happy with who she was and what she was doing. Even though she knew she would be leaving SHIELD after this. She couldn't take it anymore. It was time to find a lab job.

At Banner's house, which made some memories play through her head, she settled more into the conglomerate identity. She munched on food and had a beer. "Thank you." She said in agreement with Maria. It was good to have space to breathe. She wanted to ask the others about their experiences, but it also felt incredibly personal. She decided she wouldn't be the one to start. She'd put in her two cents about the psychic surgery if someone else talked. She had the feeling that the Professor probably was disappointed with her outcome. But she couldn't have gotten rid of the rest. She needed it for perspective.

Matt snapped out of the memory. For a disoriented moment, he didn't know where he was. He saw several others huddled up talking. Relief washed over him. He wasn't 100% what had happened, but he felt like himself. He couldn't say what was different. Other than he didn't have the urge to solve some serial killer murders. That had been strange, especially since he had been completely convinced that Oliver was to blame for it. Oliver was a bit too much of a disaster to be able to be that good of a serial killer. He joined the others, placing one arm around Cass and relishing in her presence.

At Bob's house, a name he didn't feel right about using, he had filled his plate with food and gotten a beer. He had debated drinking it, but it felt right. Like they had something to celebrate for even if their mission wasn't complete. If you thought about it, though, their mission wasn't actually to bring back Dr. Doom and Luminous. Their mission had been to investigate what happened. All well, they might as well be through. He sat near Cass.

"Should we try to figure out a game plan or just eat and sleep? Both sound good to me." He was beat. It had been a weird and long day.

Andy wasn't surprised by Mary and Mads response. She had met some good-natured monsters. Even ones that weren't naturally that way. She had her griffin and the shadow puppy as examples of that. She looked up at Mary as she said the book might have a map of the Labyrinth.

Andy stood on her toes to look at the map. She didn't know how to read a map at all, so to her, it was a bunch of lines and stuff. It didn't help that it moved. How was anyone supposed to get help from a map like that? During her travels alone, she had used things like google maps, but that was different than a traditional map.

Niah watched the kid round the corner and knew the chase was futile. She had hoped the dad was close and they'd be able to get the fight over quickly. But it wasn't worth it between the train showing up soon and the kid going farther than she anticipated. She started to say something but realized neither of the others had followed her.

Niah made her way back to the others. "The kid might be running all the way home for all I know. He went around a corner. So unless the dad shows up in the next few minutes, we might not have to worry. Though I would say, my biggest fear is the guy shows up just before the train, and we end up fighting him and miss the train that way." She shook her head, annoyed. "Anyway, what did the cyclops drop?"

Andy sat at the table next to Zari. She didn't know how she felt about being at the gala, but she had been watching her mom from a distance. She was trying to deduce more about the woman. Andy didn't know how she felt about the mom part. She had had no idea her whole life, but apparently, her mom was some super powerful witch. Why hadn't she looked for her? She had so many questions.

Her attention was brought back to the conversation when Sunshine asked Max for some 'fuck, marry, kill' choices. She blinked. She did wonder what Max would say. "It is more about what Max would want to do. Honestly, sometimes the choices are impossible no matter what." She explained to Legion.

It was good the four had headed in the other direction. It would have been a fight right off the bat otherwise. They now had a bit more time. He was not excited about having to climb all those stairs up to the top of the building and then fight. They'd have to go slow, so they didn't wear themselves out. That'd put them at a disadvantage from the start. But not taking the elevator made sense. Maybe Carolina could in whoever she possessed, but she had the only chance at not being killed right as the doors opened.

He picked the other stairwell opposite the once Cassandra. It was empty, as far as he could tell. There of course was always the chance of someone invisible or something. He held the door for the others. He would close it carefully and quietly before he started up the stairs.

Rose smiled at the clarification. She did know that, but she had agreed more because she figured he was part of the story. Also, the whole cheating thing was weird to her. But that was her usual opinion about stories with cheating in them. It made it even weirder now that these were real people, and she didn't want to gossip about them.

She raised her eyebrow as Flynn showed the secret map. It seemed easy to discover, but she probably wouldn't have thought to try that. She would have to keep it in mind for the future. She wondered how the paper was treated for that.

"I'm good. Good kitty." Colby grinned and praised the cat that had interfered. "That was a little close, I almost got stung by the scorpion, and that would have been super unfun." He was glad they were out of there and had the item. "We should get out of here. The longer we are here, the higher our risk of being discovered." Especially with Rumple here.

He looked around, trying to find where Willow had gone. He bumped into Maddie slightly and then started making his way to the refreshment table where Willow was. He also spotted Jaffar and Rumple. He tried to keep his movements smooth and unworried as he walked over to the table.

"Hello sister, how has your evening been going? I can say mine has gone quiet well." He smiled brightly at her, then nodded at the guard near her.

"I'm fine, thank you." Andy said thank you for more than just asking. She also appreciated the shield that her aunt had given her. "Are you okay?" She asked as Mads pried open the gate. "Was that even allowed? The sphinx said she wouldn't hurt us if we got the riddles, right?"

Andy looked down the hallway as far as she could. She didn't want to be the first to go. But she figured she might as well. Andy kept her dagger out. Ready to be attacked. She didn't want to be caught off guard. After a deep breath. Then started down the hall. She found herself at a split hall way. To the right was a skeleton. She paused, staring at it, trying to determine if it would be a threat or not. She missed Ashe for a moment knowing her friend might have been able to control it. Arthur never really did much with the dead and she understood why.

Niah was totally confused. Normally cyclops would abandon their kids. What was happening? They certainly weren't going to be traveling with a cyclops now. Even though it would have been nice to have a creature that scared off other creatures. But that option was dead to them.

"Grab the purse. It is the trophy from killing the cyclops. Now we either chase the kid or wait and hope he doesn't come back with his dad. I'm gonna chase." Niah said to Jason since he was the one who had made the kill. Niah tried to ignore the fact that he had asked for advice after just yelling at her to stop giving it.

She followed after the kid. Hopefully, they could deal with the kid and his dad before the train arrived. They had fifteen minutes, which was much less than the hour they seemed to have had a bit ago. The kid was running into a large crowd. Niah quickly re-sheathed her sword and it disappeared. She wondered what the Mist had been showing people so far.

Ed nodded. Frost was too dangerous to be around. He didn't trust her. Especially with what he knew about his counterpart. He was going to respond to Mary when Klara returned. Time to drop the conversation.

"Well, we don't know what is wrong with the ship, but maybe something will be useful." The crash was strange since so many of them had been ejected from the ship before it had even hit the water. And they had ended up in weird random places. At least they all ended up in New York, not like South America or something random.

They would have to remove the ship from the water and diagnose the issue before they could really hope to know what it would take to fix it. Hopefully, Guin would have a way to deal with Danger so that they might have help.

Andy didn't really understand the skull's question. She was glad she hadn't hurt Zari. She felt like she could have if she had kept going. And anyone else might not have fared so well. Andy could help but snort when Zari said that the only people who asked for a champion were lazy or didn't want to get their hands dirty.

Andy didn't know much about Selene. They hadn't really talked or interacted. This probably wasn't the best introduction. She didn't like what it meant. She chewed on her lip, thinking, then said, "I am not ready to make a choice. I'd like to know Selene better, what she has in mind, and what I'd be doing. That sort of thing. Before making a choice."

The professor wasn't certain, but once Oliver started talking she was. He was himself. Everything would be okay. Others had woken up too, and so far, they all seemed back to themselves. She smiled at Oliver and hugged him. "I don't care what you look like. Don't get me wrong. You're pretty attractive the way you look now. But I fell in love with you." She considered a joke about keeping the murder to a minimum, but since that was a little close to home with the 257 people, she figured that'd be a little too dark.

Once she pulled away from the hug, she looked at the others. "I'm okay. Everything that makes me me is still there." She couldn't imagine herself without the alternate realities. It was nice they were all organized now. "And that isn't meaning that Oliver is the thing that makes me me. I'm not co-dependent." She could live without Oliver. She'd be sad, but she wouldn't be broken.

Matt was confused by everything that was happening. Why were there bees? But he heard Professor X's voice. Telling him to think of a memory of when he found himself. That was obvious to him. He knew exactly what to think. He thought back to when he was in high school. There had been a very specific conversation with his sister, Lisa. She was older than him by a year. And at this point, Matt hadn't come out as trans yet. He had done everything he could to fit into society's box. But it never felt right.

Lisa and he were chatting about something girly, and he was trying to care. Trying to make it mean something to him. When finally, he said, "I don't know, I just feel like I'm lying all the time. Like Mindy isn't a real person, but I have to be her."

Lisa tilted her head at him and said, "Remember Laureen?" Matt had nodded. Understanding where his sister was going. The conversation had shifted after that, but it stuck with Matt, and by Summer break, he started to transition socially.
