Location: The Moors

Rose smiled. She gave Cass a small bump with her shoulder. "I think we might be able to do a picnic or something. Maybe next meal we will take it to a quiet spot. However, it might summon some monsters from the woods." Adventures in the fairy tale world seemed to be a daily occurrence.

Her childhood memories of the place seemed to have it as a big scary, dangerous place too. But she had always felt safe in her home woods. She felt safe near her parents. She looked at Robin. They were ready and could leave, but what about Rosalia and Flynn? They had to wait for them.

Colby Jackson

Location: Moors
Skills:

Colby let Maddie ramble off his questions. He was curious about what the plan was next too. They had the lamp. There were two other groups. One was off searching for...Colby paused in his thought process. What had the other group gone looking for?

And the other group was going to investigate the castle. That seemed like a good idea, but also should they have waited? Well maybe they hadn't realized how soon they would be back. It was fine. Colby looked to Merlin waiting for his answers.

~First day fit~

Times had changed. Andy was attending a school that was the antithesis of the one she had attended in Colorado. It was designed to encourage mutants. For her, it had only been a few months since she had dealt with Purifiers. That didn't seem to be an issue anymore. She had woken up early and found the package from her mom. She offered some to Mai, her roommate, after thanking her mom. She had no idea how the doll had gotten around to ordering a bunch of snacks like this. That was a little terrifying.

Now she was out in the field being dragged around by Zari. One of her favorite pastimes. She smiled as Zari rambled and got into a fight with Mr. Eyeball. "Food sounds good. I love funnel cake. You should try it." She thought about having her fortune told and didn't know what she would want to hear. "I think I want to try learning sword fighting. I definitely want to take a photo with you. We can send a copy to your parents."

Location: EARTH 257: New Asgard
Skills: Kree Tech

Niah had to take a second to catch her breath. All that had just happened had been so quick. She knew something was wrong with Oliver. That he was the person that was from this world. She knew how to deal with him. Niah smiled. "I'm fine. Thank you." She touched his cheek.

She then looked at Amelia, "I need my leg back." She pointed at the pyramid. There were no more Doombots. She felt her leg would need some time to recharge, which was a funny thought. "I used the Kree tech. I'm not sure how stable it is." Niah explained, moving to hop over and collect the tech. She touched it, the pyramid disappeared, and her leg was back. She put it on. She let out a small sigh of relief.

"I'm honestly surprised that worked." The area was littered with broken and unbroken statues of the Doom bots. Something Bonnie could hopefully explain later. She'd explain the thing with her leg.

Matt's head hurt. He knew he hadn't been in his right mind. He had touch attacked Maria. That alone was a stupid idea. But Oliver, his head snapped up and he looked around for Oliver. He spotted him with Niah and Amelia. They seemed okay. He headed inside where Doom had gone. But the fight was over. Doom was frozen, a block of stone. He didn't know who had done that. No one in the group had that power set.

How were they supposed to get back? Didn't they need Doom to figure it out? But that seemed like a later problem since Klara said something about Raynor being her successor. That would make for a hell of a commute. He frowned, looking at the bodies in the room. This wouldn't be the last battle of its kind. There was a lot of evil in the multiverse. They couldn't protect everyone all the time. Matt moved over, so he was near Cass.

Ed Penior

Location: The woods (Mary's group)
Skills: Healing

Ed's thoughts weren't far from Guin's, and when she voiced it, his stomach churned. Something that looked like a firebird had landed exactly where Mary stood up. He kept the string of curses to himself. They'd figure it out. They had to.

For now, though, they needed to hurry in the direction of the shard. Did they need the shard? How dangerous would it be if they had it and whatever part of the Phoneix had gone into Mary? What if she had the full force? Ed didn't know all the ramifications but boy what he did know was all sorts of bad.

And, of course, they still would have to deal with the Klara situation. Ed reached over and orange light emitted over Guin healing her the rest of the way.

Mage

Location: The woods (Hellfire Club)(Runa's group)
Skills: Magic

Mage wasn't doing so hot. He wasn't about to die. Thanks to having healed himself enough, he could stand back up. But he saw stars between another rock and a fist to the face. He was seriously considering just bouncing. Frost probably would be pissed. But she wasn't trying to do anything about the green dude.

A weak orange light covered him, but nothing seemed to happen. So he pulled a shield around himself completely. Mage was rather done at this point. If he couldn't do it from inside the bubble magic, he wouldn't do it. Sure he had a bit of a death wish, but not a smushed-by-giant green dude and rocks wish.

Location: Labyrinth

Aunt Mads was able to fix the wings. Andy smiled brightly. Her book had come in handy. She glanced at Mary, "I found it." She said, putting the book back into her bag.

She followed Mary and Mads further into the Labyrinth. Through the destroyed workshop and down some stairs. Chocolate behind her. His breath hitting her hand. The place was darker now. In more ways than one, she felt. Maybe taking the wings had been a bad idea.

Location: Train
Skills: Sword fighting

Niah had been startled by the harpies hitting the side of the train. She cursed and took several quick bites of food. Knowing she wouldn't get a chance until after the fight. And if all went poorly, the food would be lost in the process. Hopefully, they wouldn't also get kicked off the train.

She drew her invisible sword until the last second and used it to get a sneak attack with it on the Harpy trying to hurt her. She got it. The Harpy pulled away. Injured but still alive. She adjusted her stance wider to compensate for the train's movement and stabbed at the Harpy again. A part of her was relieved. The longer they went without a fight, the tenser she got. It seemed as if it was quiet for a long time; it was more likely to have a big fight. She missed. Maybe that was quest paranoia, or maybe there was something to it. Quiet quests seemed to be the most dangerous, though.

She swung again to stab at the Harpy, but she dodged the sword. Niah was getting frustrated. But she couldn't allow that to mess her up. Heck her whole thing was pissing off others to throw them off their game. She swung again. Hitting this time, but the Harpy survived it.

"Don't go for kill shots then. Incapacitate. We hopefully won't always be in a situation where we can't take prisoners like we are right now. And soon, the fight will be over." She wasn't hurt that Cassi wasn't affectionate back. Rose didn't require it.

She wondered how far off Rosalia had gotten. And how long it would take for her to get back. She also wondered why miss hate everything had even bothered joining them. Mab had been invited too but hadn't joined. There had been someone else too? There was a sudden sense of a long time having passed since this all started, but she knew it had only been a few days.

Colby Jackson

Location: Moors
Skills:

Through the portal, Colby paused with Maddie to take in what there was. Now Merlin had the lamp. Part of Colby was terrified of that. The most powerful wizard in every story ever holding one of the most powerful artifacts in all those stories. If Merlin were anything less than what he was in King Arthur tales (and maybe just as he was in some of them), this could be as bad as Malificent getting it.

Colby looked where Maddie was indicating and spotted the woman. Yeah, the long hair was a dead giveaway. He shrugged. "Let's find out." He started over to where Rapunzel was carrying for the injured. "So...Does your hair glow?" He guessed it might not since she wasn't using it to heal. But that might help narrow down which they were talking to, without asking questions like 'where is Flynn?'
Oh, look, an updated Andy.

It was a start. Also, thank God Amelia was okay. A part of Niah's brain had screamed that Amelia was sure to be dead from the attacks of the doom bots, but she wasn't. But this wasn't going to work well. There were too many. She looked over toward Oli to tell him to help, but something very weird was going on over there. He was attacking Matt, then Maria knocked him out with a touch, but then she started to attack Matt. What was going on?

"Oliver!" She cried out. Niah pushed herself up onto her single leg. No! Whatever stupid thing was going on now, just no. A few terrible ideas flashed through her mind before she grasped an idea that wasn't totally insane. Okay, it was insane. But what wasn't these days?

She sat back down. Niah pulled an item she hadn't really needed to carry around for a while. It was a small case with two earbuds in it. She remembered the crushed look on Tinley's face when she had decided to keep the earbuds, but it had never been because of her. It had been in case of other telepaths. It didn't matter right now. She took out a pocket knife and carefully pulled the earbuds apart. Then she closed the pyramid, not dismissing whatever weird science was happening with it; she still needed the portal.

Niah thought about what she wanted it to do. She wanted the earbuds to interfere with the doom bots and draw them into the pyramid. It would take forever to get them all otherwise. And she sent off a little prayer to whoever might be listening. With the earbuds and the Kree tech combined, she set the pyramid back down on the ground and re-opened it. She scooted away quickly. Hoping it would work.

And it did. Dozens and hundreds of the bots started flying toward the pyramid and were sucked into the void on the other side. It seemed about half of the doombots fell for it. She didn't dare let the relief of that set too deep. There was still work to do.

Location: EARTH 257: New Asgard
Skills: Paralytic touch

Things didn't make sense. He had no idea why he was here. But he knew one thing. The man standing next to him was a monster. Oliver Sullivan. A serial killer. Matt had been trying to catch him for years. And here was on a silver platter for him. Oliver attacked, but Matt could avoid it and even took his weapon away.

A strange woman he didn't know but somehow knew him took Oliver down. He wasn't certain how, but he appreciated the help. "Thank y-" He started. But was cut off when she punched him. Matt reached out and grabbed her ungloved hand. He sent out a blast of his paralytic into her.

It was odd, though. He felt fuzzy around the edges as he did it. And he was suddenly tired.

Ed Penior

Location: The woods (Mary's group)
Skills: Shield

"Trauma doesn't make people strong. It makes them brittle." Ed said. He tried not to breathe in the smoke that was filling the air. He thought of the phrase 'what doesn't kill me makes me strong' and how much he hated it, especially since almost his entire family had been wiped out.

The air was getting hard to breathe. But Guin was still safe in the bubble he had created for her. And something had fallen out of the sky. He needed to know what it was. But Mary was standing where it had fallen. He frowned. Had it hit her? What had the thing been?

"Mary, are you okay?"

Mage

Location: The woods (Hellfire Club)(Runa's group)
Skills: Magic

Mage knew something was broken. That last hit from the hulk had done some damage. Breathing was rough. He blinked black stars that were threatening to take him into unconsciousness away. He held up a thumbs up for Nightlock. It wasn't totally true, but he wasn't dead. He could take care of himself, though, since he didn't have the green guy continuing to beat up on him. Nightlock could focus on the two from the other group while he focused on healing himself.

Orange light surrounded him and darkened, pulling in close to him before disappearing. He took a deep breath. His ribs no longer felt like they were broken. He still hurt. There was no getting around the pain that easily. But at least he could breathe. He considered staying on the ground for a moment longer but decided that would be a quick way to get stepped on. Or worse. So he stood up.
