Ed was even on Team Punch the Guy. He hated this whole situation. If people were going to keep treating them like they didn't belong...Well it was a good thing in Ed's mind they were trying to leave. Why bring people you hated to a giant tin can in space? It made no sense to Ed. What was the motivation for even giving them a chance to get here?

"By looking for you mean a way to leave. If we had that would we be here?" While they technically had a way to leave, it was in a 'sort of, not quite' complete state. Since they needed to meet up with the rest of the group. Maybe they shouldn't have split up. Now they not only had to find Guin, but the other group too.

Andy nodded at Mads offer of friendship. If she wanted to fit in and have friends she had to make them. So Mads would be her first friend after Zari. She stepped off to the side with Mary Sue.

"So I've never done - Well that's not true. I suppose I have done something like this before." Andy shakes her head. "Alright, so I've seen you make things. The sword you made I could channel my lightning through, but the cage was non-reactive. Do you have other powers? I can do the lightning thing, I'm really good at dodging, usually, and I suppose I can drain people of their life energy. I try to avoid that though."

Rose thought over Cassi's question for a moment. She was asking about more than a single camping trip. Rose held out her hand to help steady Cassi. She thought of the woods at home, she thought of the woods from her memories. Her family and friends in both locations. She didn't really want to give any of that up. But life in Kansas was a fight to make ends meet. She worked three jobs just to pay the bills. Rose would be happy if she could work just the ranger job. If she got full-time. But really that wasn't likely to happen.

"I'm happy where you are." She finally said. "I'll help you shower so you don't mess up that bandage or the wound. As for camping, I don't care where we do it. I would like to go back to my childhood woods. The places of my memories. At least once. After that, wherever the wind takes us." She gave a small shrug and smiled.

Colby Jackson

Colby smiled internally. There was something funny about Maddie comforting him in this social interaction. "I'm pretty tired too." Colby agreed. "Still haven't gotten our post sand adventure shower though." He whispered to Maddie.

He had caught the thought trail that Maddie had left. Where did he want to stay? If he was honest with himself he wanted to stay here. Live in Wonderland. But he'd want to at least say goodbye to his family. There weren't a lot of friends so to speak, but he knew people he'd want to tell he was 'moving'. Did his parents need a better explanation? Could he tell them 'hey I found my biological father and I'm leaving to go live with him'?

Colby wasn't ready for that choice.

Andy was torn. Fight or help her aunt. If she helped her aunt they could get out of there faster. She pointed at the Cyclops that had just downed Damon and hit it with lighting. It turned to dust. That satisfied Andy. At least she had helped there. Then quickly ran over to her aunt.

She pushed out her magic flowing it toward Mads so that whatever spell her aunt was working on could be helped with her own magic. And then gripped the hilt of the sword and helped draw it.

"Got it!" She yelled. "We've got to go." This was it. Aunt Mads would fall to her doom soon. Andy's heart ached but that was behind the knowledge that they needed to move now or they'd be overrun.

Niah was relieved the train hadn't left already. They boarded, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. Niah wasn't going to let down her guard though. She didn't trust that something would come along and mess everything up. They still had three days of travel after all.

"Thank goodness. Wish we would have had time to deal with those snakes though." She shakes her head. Niah felt bad about the damage and leaving the snakes to roam about. She also knew she would have felt bad about killing them while they were still in the cage. All well. Nothing to do about it now. Only press on.

Ed isn't certain what to make of Prudence's change. He doesn't like it though. Something about it feels...very wrong. He is about to say something to Runa, to whisper to her of what he sees. Runa saying he already has the mantle is frustrating. He isn't the only one with the cloak. He had guessed that this was some sort of test. One he didn't want to take, but to protect his world and family he would do what he must.

There was a new person there. He did not see her appear, or hear her. She is wearing the cloak same as them. That makes four. He frowns a little, but quickly covers that with a smile, and greets the woman. "Hello." To Runa he quickly says, "Another has joined us, she appears to be a Native American woman, I don't know the tribes or their languages." He returns his attention to her. "I'm guessing from your cloak you were brought here by Dr. Strange as well. Do you know him?"

Flynn said something sounded like an acid trip. Ed blinked. Could he believe the guy? He sounded serious. And why make something like that up? How would you even make something like that up? It sounded so ridiculous it could only be true.

"Yeah, fair." Ed said to Mary. Choosing to sort of ignore the insanity of what Flynn had said. Splitting up had given them the chance to cover more ground, but now they'd have to find the others on the Astroid before they could leave if getting to the rescue team was straightforward.

Ed rubbed his temples. This whole thing was chaotic. He literally couldn't understand why they had been brought here if everyone was going to hate them and basically attack on sight.

"I also think it'd be good for us to discuss what our powers are." Andy added. "I can create and manipulate electrical energy, obviously. I also have really good reflexes." She paused. "And I can drain people's life energy. I haven't done that a whole lot. Really only one other time."

She looks at Mads, "I am sorry for draining yours. Like I said we should avoid skin-to-skin contact going forward. I can't control that power like I can my electrical energy."

Andy considered the threat she was to the student body. If that had happened outside this room it could have gone very badly. Without Lady Nimue there...Well, no reason to think about hypotheticals. She would have to get a pair of gloves to prevent such a thing from happening again. Up to this point it hadn't been an issue. Zari seemed unbothered by her touch.

Rose watched Megan work. "Let's be honest, camping." Rose said. She smiled at Cassie. Their love of the outdoors was why they had become friends in the first place. Rose hadn't spent any time at the orphanage like the others. She had been separated.

"Lucky for you I dig chicks with scars." Rose joked. "And you didn't break it. Might need to ice it, but not broken." She said flexing her hand.

"I was planning on studying to become a vet someday. Blood itself doesn't bother me. I just don't handle people well." That was an understatement. He could count his human friends on one hand. Of the group he only liked one person other than Maddie enough to even start to consider them a friend, Willow. Back in Kansas, he had roommates but he wasn't friends with any of them either.

He rolled his eyes at Sierra's question. "Fine." He shrugs. "At least it seems like we're getting near to dealing with Maleficent and from there we can figure this whole thing out." He gestures lightly at the world. He wanted to stay, wanted to have a life in Wonderland. He also wanted the stability and normalcy that Kansas provided. He had a lot of very expensive school ahead of him if he went that route. Maybe he'd let Maddie make the choice for them. Stay or go.

Andy was glad the book still worked here. It would have been frustrating to be so close and have to wander around while monsters hunted them in hopes they stumbled in the right room.

Thankfully they found the sword quickly. But it seemed to be trapped. Andy wanted to ask if she should try to get it since it was lighting that had come from the sword. Also, if she remembered right she had been the one carrying the sword in the vision. They had been running from something.

Damon asked for help trying to block the doors before she could say any of that. Andy glanced around and was able to find a large wooden pole. She stuck it in the handles. That would help prevent the doors from being opened.

"We should also be ready to run, and have a plan of where we need to go to get back out." She suggested to Mary.

"Thanks." Niah said to the receptionist. "We can't trust that we won't miss the train if we get distracted. We gotta go to the station." She shook her head feeling bad for leaving monsters running rampant in the town. Getting to California seemed to be taking forever. She knew logically it had only been a day, but still it felt like ages since they had left Camp Half-Blood.

"Yeah, it was brilliant." Niah complimented Jason. She hurried toward the train station. If they missed it they would have to find a different way across the whole continent. Only Nancy's group had anywhere near as far to go. Niah hoped today would go smoother at least.

"I have no desire to carry this mantle. I have family obligations. The two would not work well together." Ed said. He knew that Runa knew enough, and there was no reason to tell Prudence anything more than that. "I would, however, like to protect Earth. I'm quite fond of the planet and have invested reasons to want to keep it safe. As such fixing the spells, as long as that doesn't force me into the mantle is fine with me." Ed spoke honestly.

As he left the mausoleum, apparently the shadow didn't care to attack and that was fine with Ed, he looked around for the source of the crying. His heart went out to the infant he spotted. A purple infant with devil horns and wings. He wanted to go to it. To save it from the cold and cruel fate that was bound to fall upon it. He even shifted a little and took a half step toward it. But he paused. Should he? Could he? Taking the child...in this place...there were risks. Leaving it and the it would die, or something else would get it. Who knew? All the possibilities ran through his mind.

In the end, Ed walked away from the infant. All he could see was his own infant, all he could hear were her cries. Ed wanted to return home. He needed to return home. To his children, his daughter, and the daughter of his heart. This broke him a little. A tiny crack in the lawful being he was.
