Andy squeezed Stella's hand back and nodded as Persephone gave the directions. Niah took the coins from Persephone. Her other hand held the Master Bolt. "Come on Chocolate." She said and whistled a little. The pup followed quickly. She stumbled a little as they walked down the path but with Stella there, it was easier.

"I don't know what you know about the Gray sisters." Andy said. She knew Stella was new so it was likely she didn't know much. "They have one eyeball and tooth they share between the three of them. They don't like demi-gods much because the original Perseus threw their other eye into the lake." Andy wasn't certain how to act around them, but she figured the best action would be to just be nice.

"We should go to camp first. They can help Mary. Then from there go to Olympus. Maybe Argus can take us to the Empire State Building."

"Thank you." Niah told Persephone as she took the coins. She was tired. Emotionally and physically. She nodded at Terminus when he said he would go with them. "Thank you, Damon." She told the strange boy that she barely knew. He was doing a kindness carrying Mary. Hopefully, she would be alright.

"Let's go." Niah headed off the mountaintop and down the trail. She had walked this path before. How long ago had that been? It felt like so long ago. But also that it wasn't enough time. That had been the day the world had started falling apart. She didn't know what she would do going forward. With Mads gone...

She cut off the spiraling thoughts and got to the road. There she threw the coin onto the ground and said "Stêthi 'Ô hárma diabolês." Niah knew about the Gray sisters, she hoped they were in a good mood. They likely wouldn't be too excited about having four demi-gods in their car.

Mandy let out a small huff of air when the boy stepped away and an adult appeared, she was relieved. The cat seemed upset, so she focused on it giving it some attention before looking up at the older woman. She smiled and hoped that the situation had been explained to the boy. She couldn't know. But at least the boy had backed off, he also seemed satisfied.

Mandy waved her fingers a bit at the pair of them and continued her little shopping spree. She texted back her dad. "Yeah, hopefully only temporary though. I'll find a new owner for it as soon as I can. The vet said it was healthy and gave it the first round of shots. I'll take care of the rest when I get back to school. No microchip or any sign of being owned by anyone."

She headed to the checkout stands, and pulled out her note again to show the cashier. She didn't like to have cashiers think she was rude and ignoring them.

"Allow me to re-introduce you to everyone. Klara, this is Caroline, you almost had it. This is Avery. You met both during the Jumanji incident. But it has been a while, and other circumstances have made things complicated, do not feel bad for not remembering." Ed considered letting Klara know that she wasn't just having issues with her memory, Avery had not only changed their face but also their name since the last time they would have seen each other. He glanced at Avery and decided to let them handle that part, Ed didn't want to say something that might accidentally hurt Avery's feelings.

His face lit up as Klara offered him the box. "Thank you." He said opening the box. He then put the amulet on. Ed could feel the magic of it harmonize with his own. "This is kind of you. I appreciate it." Ed understood why Klara and her mother were jointly sending the gift. If he hadn't picked up on the oddities of the fake Klara that had been with them and then brought it to Sif's attention, and Sif had agreed that something was off, they might not have known that the real Klara was trapped in the alternate dimension. Ed had been adamant and eventually, he had been proven right.

"If you'd like I'd be happy to take you around and introduce you to everyone on the team, we have several new members. And some you may have only met briefly." Ed offered.

Mandy jumped a little when the kid came rushing into her vision and reached into her personal space. She knew hearing people expected you to know where they were by the sound of their footsteps or some other magical way of just knowing. It was annoying though because hearing people assumed everyone could do it. However, she knew kids had even less experience. She glanced around trying to find an adult that went with the kid.

She pulled out her phone and opened the note pad, she had a standard "I'm deaf" card that she would use and then expand from there. She wasn't even going to try to talk to the kid. Her voice was hard for people to understand. But there was no adult. Could the kid read? She did kneel down so it would be easier for him to pet the cat, as long as the cat seemed okay with the kid. Part of her attention was on the body language of the kitten and if its purring stopped, which she could feel through her fingers.

Andy nodded. "Thank you." She handed the sword over to Persephone. That was one less thing they'd have to worry about. "Can you tell Arthur hi for me." She wanted him to know she hadn't stopped thinking about him during their quest. She wished he was there with them now.

Andy stood near Stella. There was something about holding up the weight of the sky with someone that bonded you with them. She couldn't quite put her finger on it. That and with Arthur not at camp that left Andy as the youngest other than Stella.

"If you can, send Jason back to camp, that would be appreciated." Bringing him back on their own would be impossible so he'd probably end up buried here, or in whatever door the group from the Labyrinth had used and placed there until they could retrieve him. That sounded terrible.

"Terminus, will you join us at camp? All of the survivors of New Rome are at the Camp Half-Blood. We have things to do before we can win back home." Niah wished she could storm the place right that moment, but that wasn't going to happen. If Terminus went back to the camp he'd be able to let the senators know what happened, and that they were returning.

Ed was about to respond to Carolina and Avery when the booming voice carried through the building. He blinked. The voice sounded familiar, and they were bizarrely asking for Lance.

"Thank you both for the offers. If I find that I require aid you will be the first I ask." At that time the water bubble floated into the room followed shortly by Klara.

"Klara." Ed said surprised, he stood and smiled at her. Hoping that now she was in a better headspace and knew who she was. He couldn't be certain how much damage Loki might have done to her mind. He hoped that it had been resolved. "It is a pleasure to see you. I'm doing alright. Yourself?"

Andy shook, still holding the master bolt. The adrenaline of the fight started to fade away.

"We have the sword and the master bolt back. Atlas is returned to his place." She nodded at Damon. "We won." She didn't add for now. Or 'at what cost'. She liked Jason a bit. At first, she hadn't liked him, he had been rude to her brother. But she had warmed up to him. Now he was gone. They would have to tell his sister.

Niah was kneeling on the ground. She was crying and a primal scream came out of her. Andy went over and waited for her to calm down. Chocolate pressed up against Niah sensing that she needed comfort. Niah had been running on anger since Andy had told her what had happened to Mads.

Niah sank to her knees. Her hands were shaking. The fight was over. Jason was dead. She had more to do. She had no idea how the others were faring. How was Nancy? She definitely hadn't been in a good place when Niah had spoken to her. She had some regrets about that message but she knew she'd have more if she hadn't sent it.

Jason was dead. Mary was alright. Niah tried to let some of the anger and sadness she held slip away from her but it resulted in a scream. She wanted to kill Atlas. She couldn't but dear gods did she ever want to drive her sword into him. It would be a mosquito sting. It wouldn't make her feel better. After a moment she realized Andy was standing next to her and Chocolate was pressing against her side. She looked over at the hellhound and gave it a little pat on the head.

"Thank you." She said. Her voice cracked a little. Niah stood and dusted herself off. "Alright, what is next."

It felt good to talk about the things bothering him. Ed knew what this meant. He had accepted the X-men as his friends. Avery might not have been a given prior to them figuring out their familial relationship. Caroline had always struck Ed as someone who didn't like him. She seemed to be taking that he was unloading his personal problems well. He noticed the small freeze when he mentioned Cardiff.

"I have to prove to my grandfather that what has been said is a lie. If I just showed up at the estate I'd probably get removed. I fear sending letters will get ignored quickly as well. However, most of the younger people have cell phones. If I can get in contact with my mother. Maybe she can speak with him on my behalf. That may be the best avenue for me to return. It will take time though." Ed explained. He hadn't really known what he could do. As he thought of ways to contact his grandfather it had been one of the few options that seemed possible.

Mandy wrote, "Thank you! That's all." It was good she had come here. Now that school was canceled for the time there was no way she could have done the tests and shots there. She made sure she had her stuff and headed over to the pet store in the same little strip mall.

She grabbed a cart and figured she'd best get enough for a month. She remembered how COVID was supposed to be two weeks and then it ended up longer and longer. If it was worse than that, she'd just get stuff delivered like they had before. She went through the cat isle looking for dry and wet food. She also made sure to get a collar, a carrier (she found one of those cool backpack ones), a litter box and all the other random things that were good when you had a new kitten.

Her parents weren't going to be surprised. It wasn't the first time in Mandy's life she had brought home a random pet. It wouldn't be the last either. She smiled as she gathered stuff and remembered the first animal she had rescued. It had been a baby bird. She had hand fed it for weeks before it flew away. For years after it would make its nest in the tree in their yard.

Mandy took a picture of the cart and sent it to her parents, with a picture of the cat. Her message read, "Sorry, not sorry <3"

Niah stuck out her tongue at Atlas when he was back under the sky. She no longer needed to fight him. There wasn't anything he could do anymore. So she turned her attention to the cyclopes. There were many. They had hurt Mary. Niah wasn't even certain if Mary had survived. She was certain Jason hadn't and she couldn't think about that right now.

Niah didn't know Mary very well, but she was already so upset with the death and destruction. She hated the gods at the moment. Sure Persephone was helping them and Terminus had always been a sort of family member for her. But in general the gods could suck it. She turned that anger to the cyclopes and started attacking them. She stabbed one and it turned to dust and with a back swing of her hand she killed another. She moved and went after a third but it was ready for her and moved so her swing went short.

Andy drew strength with her connection to Stella. Finally they were free from the burden. The gods were able to get Atlas back under the weight of the sky. She breathed a sigh of relief. She wanted to lay down and let her body relax. But she couldn't the fight was still going on. There were cyclopes to deal with.

She picked up the Master Bolt. Even though it was her father's tool it seemed that it was fighting her. She tried to control it but it was difficult. When she finally had it somewhat under control she was able to use it to kill two of the cyclopes. That probably wasn't enough, but the bolt wasn't easy to control.
