"What if we walk and then we train? Stella and I can walk, and then I'll join for training? And she can do something else?" Andy offered as an option of what to do. She watched the cape land next to Stella.

She had received mysterious gifts before as well so it wasn't the weirdest thing. It was how she had a spell book, which she didn't use as often now that Mads wasn't there to teach her. She also didn't use the metal balls anymore cause that had been Arthur's thing more than hers. He had controlled the balls and she had electrocuted them. That had been a good combo.

Andy plastered a smile on her face. "Cool! I wonder what it does." It was obvious the cloak was Stella's so she waited to see what Stella would do with it. She scratched Chocolate's ears as she watched her friend.

Niah waved at the Cyclopse that seemed to be nice, odd. She then followed Nancy. Niah felt like she had done something to upset Nancy. She wasn't sure what it was, but Nancy seemed mad. Was it because Niah had interrupted her morning?

Niah wanted to talk to Nancy. Wanted to say so much to her. Tell her about her own vision of Dalisy. Something. Talk to her friend like they used to. But so much had changed. "I miss you." She thought, but didn't voice. Niah just followed after Nancy as she led the way back to the Roman camp.

Mandy sighs into the hug from her dad. It's reassuring, and comforting. She figures they'll have to warn the neighbor about the news. She isn't certain if the old lady has a cell phone even. Once released from her dad's hug she reads the message from Kristain. Mandy doesn't respond this time. The conversation had pretty much concluded. If either of them got new information they'd pass it on.

Hermes offered a couple of names. They were obviously pun names, but English puns were awkward in ASL. She does laugh at them though, which is a nice feeling considering all the stress they are currently under. She considered what kind of pun name she could give an orange/red cat in ASL. "I like Goose." Mandy nods. "Do you want a ride home?" Mandy offers Hannah. She didn't like the idea of the teen being out on the streets alone.

He let the spell drop and went back to his sandwich. He was almost done with it. Ed listened as the others discussed what they could do to find Mary. He considered the options. The sling ring could theoretically take them directly to Mary, but what if she was in the middle of something important. They didn't know why she was gone or what she was doing. If they showed up unannounced they could cause more harm.

"It wouldn't be easy for me to pinpoint Mary's location. I could triangulate her, but that would take several teleportations to work. I've heard of using a map, but my magic works through Sympathies. Without a map that would have sympathetic connections I wouldn't get anything. Might as well throw darts at a map." Ed explained.

"I'm alright with trying to find her, but I don't think we should drop in on her without warning. We don't know what she is doing. It could be dangerous and us showing up messes things up. If we triangulate her, at least we have a better idea of where she is, without causing instant disruption."

"Don't worry I'll make this quick then." Andy said, moving quickly to get within brawling range. She wasn't going to drag this out. She was pissed, Andy reached out to grab Arcade's throat, but he kicked her shin and slipped out of her reach.

That didn't matter, not anymore. Andy had been learning magic. And the strength she had gained from Ardere was still pulsing in her. She spoke a few words and a loud gong rang within Arcade's ears. It didn't deafen him, the spell wasn't meant to, but he was hurt by it. He still stood. Andy was pissed and didn't care about the consequences.

She stepped in close again and swung, aiming to punch him in his stupid face. He was still reeling from the bell and didn't dodge her fast enough this time. She punched him directly in the nose.

Andy blinks confused. She could have sworn...Oh, she had been distracted thinking about going for a walk and had mixed the two things. "Oh, that's my bad. I was thinking about going for a walk. Then Kristin invited me and I got it all jumbled." Andy says, looking down at her feet embarrsed.

"If you don't want to train that's totally fine. We can go for a walk later." She says sincernly. She doesn't want to drag Stella along on something she doesn't want to do. Andy is fine with training, she believes it is important to do. Especially since she has seen what can happen on a quest.

Niah jogged slightly, following after Joanie. She trusted that if the little dragon was leading her somewhere it was probably to Nancy. She had asked for her. The dragon was smart. Niah hoped that maybe she could get a few minutes with Nancy before they headed back to camp. She wanted to check in on her. Make sure she was doing as well as could be expected. However, Niah is disapointed to see that Nancy is talking with someone.

Entering the area where Nancy was with a Cyclopse, Niah looked between them a bit confused. "Uh, hey. Nancy things are going to start soon." She says a bit hesitently.

"Dad," Mandy gave her dad a quick hug. "We are fine, a little scared. A man tried to get into my car. But Hermes said the man had died. There are a ton of police on the road. I don't know if we should go out." She signs quickly to her father. She gathers the bags from the trunk, suddenly thankful she had gotten extra toilet paper like it was 2020 again.

Mandy went inside waving Hermes to enter the house fully. She shook her hand with a K-hand shape, telling Hermes to head to the kitchen. Once inside the house she gathered the cat items and opened a can of food for the kitten. The poor thing must be starved. She had no idea how long it had been since it had eaten. She took the kitten from Hermes and let it eat.

She checked her phone remembering that she had been texting her friend, Kristian. She saw the group text from her dad, and then switched to the chat with Kristian. "Hey, I think the rumors are true. Stay safe. Things are dangerous." She texted to her real quick.

"We should name him." She signs, mostly to herself. Then she looks up at her dad. "A kid at Hermes' school was biting people, he attacked Hermes, but he is okay, he didn't get hurt." She started organizing the kitten stuff. She made sure that the bag was ready to go if they needed to leave. Mandy was nervous about what was going on.

"I do have her hair for healing. I could use it for a tracking spell. But that just gives general direction." Ed says, most of them should know that because any who had been helping Lance look for Bruce knew the flaw of Ed's tracking spell.

"Give me a moment to get it together." Ed took a couple bites of his sandwich and pulled out a small box with several vials in them. Each of the vials were carefully labeled with the names of each of the X-Men. He had made sure after their last trip to space to collect hair from the others. It had become too much to just let sit in his pocket so he had gotten a special box to keep them organized in.

As he finishes casting the spell the small compass snaps to the south and pulls. "Ah, she is south of here, and pretty far away." He explains.

"Cool!" Andy said, then she ran over to Stella. "Hey, Kristin asked me to go on a walk with her and some others. Want to join?" When Stella agreed, Andy bounced on the balls of her feet.

"Let's go, they are waiting for us." She said, and whistled for Chocolate to follow her. She went over to Kristina's table where she was waiting. "Stella said yes." If that hadn't been obvious from the exchange.

"Thank you." Niah nodded.

In Nancy's tent she was surprised that Nancy wasn't there, but only slightly. She let Joanie roost on her shoulder and gave her chin scratches.

"Miss Joanie, where would Nancy be? Do you know?" She asked the little dragon as she exited the tent having no desire to invade her friend's privacy. "She knows today is important and hasn't been shirking her duties, so where has she been off to." Niah says, mostly to herself.

Andy nodded. Letting Zari decide that she wanted to continue. She was worried about Zari, but she wasn't about to tell her what she could and couldn't do.

"Let's go up the stairs. It'll be quieter." Andy says heading for the stairs. She rubbed a bit at her head where a bump had appeared. She had been dead while being dragged down those steps, but it hadn't been long between death and her resurrection. Andy pushes those thoughts aside and focuses on climbing the stairs.

Entering the Framework room she spots Arcade. Feeling energized by the soul of her former classmate Andy whispers something in pseudo-Latin and her hand moves in a complicated gesture. A ghostly, skeletal hand appears and shoots from her hand clasping around Arcade's arm. His skin, under the ghostly hand, darkens.

"Hey asshat. You forgot something." Andy snarls and starts moving more into the room.

Putting the car in park. Mandy looked around the neighborhood. She was shaking a little from the chaos and she didn't like how much police activity they had seen on their way. She didn't even hear the sirens that were farther away.

Mandy wasn't certain how to process what Hermes was saying, she understood him fine. She had long been exposed to his clumsy signing, and even while driving she could glance at him and fill in blanks of what he might have said if she did miss anything.

"I've got stuff for the kitten in the trunk. I'm going to grab that you two head right in." Mandy told Hermes. She got out of the car and headed for the back to get into the trunk. She grabbed the couple of bags of things she had gotten for the kitten, slinging the travel backpack over one shoulder.

Mandy had plans to harness and bag train the kitten so if...when she adopted it out it'd be more desirable.
