Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

Arc I - Terreille in Trouble

Faeril Ashkevron

Present Day
Location - Front Palor, Ashkevron Residence in Aren, Askavi

Interacting with @Slim Shady @13org @Zoey White

"I do not plan on killing you. There are others things I can do just as well that will give me anonymity." The Black Widow explain dryly. "Dramatic child." Both of the Saroth brothers rolled their eyes, knowing full well that Faeril could be just as dramatic when she chose. Settling in a chair across from the couch, she pretended not to notice as her two 'protectors' flanked the chair. Their wings rustling and the dim crackling of the fire being the only sound within the dreary room. The rain outside setting a distant beat as it tapped against the window. With ease Faeril sank into the power of the Red, spiraling down to her full strength. Going into three minds in a single days and have one of those be an extensive healing was no easy thing. As much as the Red Jeweled witch hated to admit it she would need to rest. The constant webs she had been weaving, the fiasco with Denvar bringing in two newcomers...

Shaking her head, Faeril got to work. Randalvar wouldn't have sent the woman up here for just carrying weapons. Young males must be disappearing from close by if the old man was worried about this witch. While Faeril doubted she had anything to do with Dorothea, it still paid to be cautious. Slipping past the shields she ordered the girl to raise, Faeril gently but with a firmness as to not be denied sorted through the thoughts of the woman. Looking for anything untoward. Finding it, she held herself back from ripping the girl's mind in twain and withdrew quickly. Her blue eyes snapped open and were filled with cold fire. That Dareen had been worried about it had notified her of the fate of the Black Widows the girl's little 'mercenary company' dealt with.

"I may have spoken too soon, but death would do little to set an example." Denvar and Gen looked sharply between the two as Faeril waved them off. Returning to the other end of the couch and a nearby table respectably. "Your little 'company' was nothing more than hired thugs. Murdering and defiling brutes. You would honor their twisted rituals, girl? Despite the murder of my sisters?" The blue-eyes were frozen as Faeril studied Dareen. "No, you were merely a tool for them. Not so high up as to be anything but an amusement. A fighting witch, oh they laughed for that!" Turning away, Faeril stood and walked over to stare at the golden hourglass she had withdrew from beneath her gown. The pendent holding all the sand in the bottom of the small figurine. A sign that she was a fully trained member of the Hourglass Coven. "Start talking Dareen Kahina. Explain yourself." For she had seen slight strings about the woman from a web of her own weaving and it troubled the witch greatly.

As Gendry shrugged and moved to stand off to the side to let the other two go first, the witch seemed to have a jolt of realization. Her eyes widening slightly before moving to walk past Gendry. Jerking free of Jean she swung the wooden tray with a slight shield about it giving it a bit extra to smash against the man. Which worked perhaps too well. Taken my surprise, their watching loosing his footing tumbled down the stairs in a way that wasn't exactly good for his health. Hitting the bottom with a sickening thud, several of his limbs looked bent at just the wrong angle and blood was leaking from beneath Gendry's poor head. The witch looked horrified, her face pale as could be as she dropped the tray with a clatter. Her hand clapping over her mouth in shock. She had meant to stun him, not to kill him! Where Gendry was standing, Jean would notice a small coin that felt like it had been recently connected to some Craft. The coin itself was bronze with an engraving of an hourglass, the symbol of the Black Widows.

Athanasia Theroux

Location Camp Half-Blood

Whatever she had expected a camp next to the Long Island Sound and halfways covered with strawberries was not it. Why were there so many strawberries? Why was there one big house on the hills? Why were there so many cabins and was the guy in the wheel chair another demigod? Did old demigods end up like him? Questions burned and blazed about Athanasia's mind as she tilted her head, her pale hair swinging behind her slightly. There was just so much! "Year round? Why? What about school?" There was an eagerness she couldn't mask. If she didn't have to go to school! Though the reality that her mother would never, ever allow it squashed the thought as soon as it came to that particular realization. Ryssa took education seriously and woe betide anyone who got in the way of that view. "Can we ask questions now or is Mister Grouchy right and we have to wait?" Her black eyes danced with amusement as she beamed a charming smile at Chiron. When first meeting someone it was always good to make a first impression the best one.

Which was ruined by the ground shaking with a good deal of force. Startled Athanasia drew a few steps closer to Arthur, before the ground began to open between the two of them. Well having faced down a trio of Cyclops, flew in on chariots pulled by peguses and not exactly the most trusting of the good intentions of the world 'Ash' did the prudent thing and stepped delicately behind Arthur. He was the Co-president and thus more expendable than she. Not that she would ever tell him that! Peering around the year older boy, she studied the skeletons that crawled from the hole. They weren't scary, she had seen bones before, but it was slightly unnerving. Tilting her head she frowned. "Arthur, you have a glowing thingy over your head." Which for some reason seemed rather interesting to many of the people about them. Soon Ash found herself holding a human skull, and watching the skeletons sink back into the earth. "Skalle?" She muttered frowning in a fair bit of confusion and tossing the skull a bit.

"Oi! Toots! I aint a tennis ball, ya know? Going to rattle my eyes out of my sockets! The name's Tony Charlies Ruzpun. Will you stop tossing me?!"

Athanasia tilted her head as the skull talked with no tongue and a moving mandible. "You are more chatty than my friends. A very chatty, chatter-box." Though her attention switched to study Marygold with a thoughtful look. If she shared a godly parent with Arthur that meant....

"I got a name, ya know?! Tend to like people using it! I could have been a contender! One of the great! Then I would have been known in every household! Will you stop tossing me! I'm going to get a headache!"

"You are just a skalle, Chatters. And skalle are generally silent." Muttered Athanasia with a glare at the skull as she stopped tossing it up and down in thought. Thankfully the poor disembodied head had enough sense left in said head to hear the edge in the girl's voice and shut his trap save for minor mutters about the fact he could have been great. Turning her gaze to fix it on Arthur she tilted her head in consideration. "So-?" It was a shock, and she wasn't exactly sure how to process having another potential sibling? Unless there were two gods who commandeered skeletons and skalle? But it was Arthur and he was a solid co-president of the Hell Raiser Committee. Tapping her fingers along the skull's noggin she ignored the complaints and studied her counterpart. "Would someone explain why he had a glowy thingy over his head? And do we have the same god for one parent? Where did the skeletons come from? Are we above a graveyard?" A burst of questions rushed out as Athanasia couldn't contain them, with good reason. "And why didn't my mor say anything?!" Athanasia snapped finally feeling that betrayal of information kept from her most deeply. Enough that she slipped into the tongue of her mother and the swedish 'mor' for the term of mother.

"If I wished to dispose of a body, I would burn it with wytchfire where the WitchBlood bloom, or do you claim ignorance of those flowers' nature?" Faeril swept into the room, the long hour passing since she left it. While still graceful her brothers kept a close eye on the slowness of her movements. The Black Widow=Healer had worked a spell that had taken a fair bit of her strength. Something that was not going to be cast aside. "While murder is not against our laws, I see no reason to- yet." Faeril spoke, her our being generalized to the Blood as a whole. "You all were loud enough to be heard in Draega."

Gen slumped into a seat, drinking from a cup of the horrid blend he called coffee and offering a cup to the witch. "What happened to you? He bite back?"

Ignoring the Warlord, she studied Dareen with narrowed eyes. "Will you let me into your mind willingly? I swear that I will alter nothing and do nothing but look." The unspoken 'for now' hanging in the air. A contract that if she was dangerous the woman would be dealt with one way or the other. Denvar shifted uncomfortable along one wall as he eyed Dareen.

Jassen stood slightly and hesitated before giving Fatima a worried look. "Would you mind so greatly if I took a look around?" Her escort asked. While tempted to get a drink, he was more tempted to get a feel for the inn and learn who could potentially pose a threat. "I swear I won't drink-" He wouldn't admit it had crossed his mind but he wasn't going to risk failing again. Once was bad enough.

The witch did lead him to the attic, the stairwell growing narrow and dusty as she shoved the heavy door open. The space was filled with a variety of lost objects, wardrobes and chests. Decorations spilled out a few disturbed chests for Winsol, and there were several places looking like someone had long ago used them as a bed. Gendry as he was called, looked irritated that he had been dragged up here where the rain pounded loudly on the roof. The serving woman looking vexxed about to brain both males with her wooden tray. "Don't see why you're taken your time to get to know her up here." Gruffed the loyal bootlicker. "Erkyn will want that damned pouch of 'is right quick." The male snapped, looking almost fearful.

Richard smirked after Bobbi as the woman walked away. She was a treat and with a body to kill in more ways than one. Ignoring the disgusted look his sister shot him, he couldn't ignore her thoughts. "You do remember we agreed those who work with us are off limits?" Apparently he was smart enough to think of future ramifications. Well wasn't that a horrid revelation? He shrugged absently in response to his little sister. Pushing himself free of his seat, the Armani suited owner of Lux sighed and ran a hand a hand through his hair as he followed that wickedly graceful body into the training room.

Ayita had padded into the room after her brother with a disapproving frown. Her amber eyes begging Gambit to work it the other way around. Oh, she liked Bobbi well enough but Richard knew better than to be angling for her seriously and she damn well could pick up from his insistence that was exactly what he was doing. "Why are we sparring? Rather, why is he sparring? He tosses people out of the club for causing a ruckus regularly." The younger Dyrkin pointed out with a slight whine to her voice and a great deal of annoyance on her face. She had a book to read after all.

That got Richard's attention and made his steps hesitate. Ayita didn't whine, oh complaining was one thing. But whining? Glancing at the younger of the siblings, he earned himself a glare of reproach. "A little spat is a spat, my dear sister. A spar however? That is a work out and Bobbi is far more difficult than those half wit drunks." He flashed the said woman a charming smile before removing his suit jacket with a certain care, his vest following. Rolling up the sleeves of his dress shirt the night club owner looked amused at Bobbi and beckoned a 'come at me' motion. "Worried I'll get hurt? Or you will lose?"

"I'm fighting Remy." Ayita pointed out in annoyance, mimicking her brother as she tossed her hair over her shoulder. "You'll heal. I'll lose." The facts were already there. She didn't have to like them however. Especially not with Richard being a bit strange. "Personally I hope she wipes the floor with your smug smile. God know your ego could be taken down a peg or three. Thousand." Pushing Richard from her mind she sighed as she began to circle about Remy with her own staff. Noting them himself, Richard plucked two knives.

Flying in a chariot drawn by a set of pegasus was jaw dropping on it's own. Though Athanasia's mind was going a mile a minute trying to dredge up everything she knew about the Olympic Gods. Oh, she knew a thing or two with her mother being an archaeologist and all but it was blurry from her stint in Crystal Rivers'. Planning the downfall of the teachers had been much more pressing. Standing on tiptoes slightly to get a better view of the so called 'Camp Half-Blood' Athanasia's smile was slightly bitter. How many heads would she need to, figuratively, knock together over her name? It was much easier to be called 'Ash' than the proper name gifted to her by a mad researcher named Ryssa. But then again, her mother had named their cat Apollymi in honor of some goddess of destruction in one of the rare fantasy novels she was reading. So Athanasia would stick with the name she got and be glad it wasn't something worse.

Five minutes of discussing the proper term of multiple Pegasuses, and plotting half a dozen more variants of questions. Athanasia considered the others about her. The pale girl felt certain she could rely on Arthur and Kiera. While they were older than her she did feel a good deal of respect and warmth towards them. Perhaps Arthur a bit more than Kiera with the larger age gap between the girls. The Bow Boy however seemed to be a bit prickly. A fact that made her smile. Prickly was fine, it was a challenge and she would win him over eventually. "Oh la!" She beamed at Ezekiel. "You really shouldn't use such language, it's bad manners. Besides! We're here and I have so many questions." Her beaming smile became almost devilish as she winked and laughed cheerily. "Kiss, kiss." Challenge accepted were what those words meant. A verbal thumbs down, or challenge to whatever life threw at her.

Ayita sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. She was paired with Big Brother Richard again. It wasn't that it was bad, but he was overprotective at times. At other times she was his weapon for better or worse. "A hidden blade no one expects." That were his words when she had demanded he let her handle herself. "You are capable, I don't deny that! What I deny is you putting yourself in needless danger. I can regenerate bits of myself. You can't. That's the end of it." Of course she hadn't accept it as the end of the topic. Not that pushing had done any good. Her brother was a cunning and sly bastard, but when he was riled enough he would roar. Running her fingers through her auburn hair, the amber eyed woman sighed in annoyance.

Richard's snake eyes shifted to study his sister and Gambit divided up the teams. He didn't see a problem being on the same team as Ayita thought he didn't doubt for a second that whoever he was supposed to be would be just as protective. Especially from how his sister was listening and not suggesting. If there was a need the Ayita he knew would speak, and not just for snips and comments like she had been. It was different, and not bad in the slightest.

So they would be making the exit, the Adder smirked slightly. He enjoyed the actions but until he knew where they stood an exit was the best place to be. Turning that charming grin on Bobbi, the very confused man chuckled. "Darling, I don't have repeats because then they would get boring. It take an exceptional woman to keep my attention." Giving their comrade a wink, before returning his attention to the matter at hand. It seemed Casper was a unstable one, this bomber-jacket woman a bit of a cocky little princess, and Jack someone he could relate to.

Ayita rolled her eyes at Richard's flirt and Anastasia's comment about wearing a crown. Oh, feeling like royalty was well and good. But honestly? It would get boring. The grit of life was the interesting bit, even if it was dangerous. She understood her brother's lavish nature and could sympathize with why he didn't settle for a single lady. He wanted someone who could keep up in all aspects of his life and none of them could. It was the same for her and Damon except she wanted to roam the world, but she wanted to do it on her terms.

Athanasia gave a wide smile though her dark eyes glittered with a worrisome intent for those who knew her. Trouble was brewing in the little girl's mind and it would not bode well for those that it was meant for. "Oh, la! Now that is a challenge Arthur dear. How many questions can I come up with on a pegasus-" She frowned slightly.[cokor=SlateBlue]"What is the plural for pegasus? Pegasis? Pegasuses? Pegaponies?"[/color] It had never come up and if her mother had mentioned it Athanasia had quite forgotten.

But her gaze flashed on her to Kristin and Mary, narrowing slightly. "I'm a child yes, but I am not a baby. Nor do I require some babysitter." The pale girl smiled sweetly. "I can understand that may get confusing with fighting monsters all the time. But I am ten, a bit over the age of needing a sitter." Yes! Athanasia was perfectly capable to watch herself. That her mother left her with a bit of help was beside the point! They were really only there for when she couldn't reach things. Maybe not, but it was the story she was sticking to! Baby indeed! She was ten! Ten!
