NCQuest: Favors for Favors (Taking new players)

Alright, So here's what's going to go down one final time;

Gowi is going to help me re-create everything that needs re-creating and help 'solidify' the NCQ 'experience' in terms of narrative and whatnot. Also, probably revisioning the rules.

As implied, the main OP OOC is going to be utterly remade and less of a goddamn mess.

A somewhat larger IC post detailing a 'fast-forward' post giving a summary of events, like Percy and Jan being injured, having a mental breakdown, and being shunted to medical leave, and quitting his mercenary contract out of frustration respectively. A proper, manly commander will be introduced to replace Sophia, too.

A character glossary, and making a few of the 'implied' characters actual characters. Head of engineering, Head doctor, that stuff.

I'm not 'indebted' to do anything, and none of the players here are 'indebted' to do anything for me either. If this isn't a 'fun' thing for you anymore and it turned into something else, I want no part of that shit. If you're getting too attached you can fuck right off, and in my opinion you should at this point. Your personality has begun to turn 'toxic' (I thought I'd never use that word lmao), yet more accurately 'too fucking serious'. Like, Natsu, fam? I don't give a shit about your 'untermsechen' and 'ubermeschen' way of thought but if you're really of the latter group, act like it dude. make the change you want and shit.

This is an RP-ing site, why do you give so many fucks? Emotions have no place here.

In any case, if it's alright with everybody, I'm just going to kick him out until he learns a thing about not caring. I'm going to do the aforementioned stuff (Timeskip to the next important event, blablabla) later this evening.

Anyway, ADP is also apparently out, so y'know. I'll figure out stuff to do with Percy and whatnot as well.

Hey, just making sure everybody knows about the new thread myself. Really excited about this RP and all so y'know. Wanna make absolutely certain that everybody's up to date. So please read the post above.

Sir Lars Van Damme

Name: Sir Lars Van Damme (His friends can just call him Lars, and he considers most of the Mudskippers' crew as friends)

Age: 32

Occupation: Member of the Mudskipper, and wishes to officially lead it to greener pastures.

Best Skills: Van Damme is experienced in handling money, leading, and close range fighting with both firearms and fisticuffs. He is also fairly adept at talking out of a situation, and figuring out the best course of action in situations outside of combat.

Worst Skills: Van Damme can't engineer his way out of a paper-bag however, and still thinks in two dimensional terms for the most part, although he'll likely begin to grow out of it as time passes. He is not particularly good at logistics either, and may occasionally be 'too clever by half'.

Appearance: Lars is a somewhat muscular, taller individual with blue eyes, his left one a cybernetic which can glow in the dark. His sharper, more refined features as well as a well-groomed head of hair may make him popular with some ladies if they can get over his mildly disconcerting eye. He almost always walks with mild purpose in his step, and has a certain air of decent authority that follows him where he goes.

Personality: Lars Van Damme is of a more honorable, yet still 'lawless' stock. He speaks half-formally most often, sprinkling his dialogue with spacer terminologies and lingo occasionally, and making sure that he could still be understood by the 'common man'. He's generally smarter and more perceptive then your average fellow, and prefers talking things out instead of fighting. However, if he must fight, he'll do whatever it takes (if it isn't too morally icky).

History: When asked about his history, Van Damme gives the somewhat vague explanation that he grew up in a higher class family, and when he became a young man, took his fair share of the family fortune and began wandering the galaxy. He drifted from place to place for nine years (losing an eye at some point), and eventually ended up as part of the Mudskippers' crew. He also says he has experience in leading men, having led 'a band or two of people before'. He doesn't give details aside from that.

As I said in the previous thread, and which is obvious in the CS, my guy is oriented for a more leader-ish role, but I could also see him being the 'businessman' of the crew while he plots to take over the 'captain' position.

I do hope it's okay for everybody that I take the first 'captain' sorta guy? I already wrote my CS and I'm playing a dude who's going to act as if he's the captain of the ship and whatnot. I'll post the CS in (short) entirety when Aze gives the go on the full thread. I'm certainly not saying this to persuade people to not make another 'leader' sort of character, quite the opposite; if any of you are, I'd love to discuss how our dudes could fight over the captain role.
