So, by 'God' do you mean a worshipped deity, or anything with potent Celestial ability?

Both. It could be a grand deity or it could be a somewhat lesser being of divine or occult power.
All of these look good so far but I'm not home so I'll put them in the OP later.
In response to Lee's night-crawling proposition, Geno rose his hand to get Lee's attention, and then pointed to himself to show that he would go with him for the nighttime guard count.

Other than actually responding to somebody, his fiddling with the blade only lasted for several seconds, as Geno's empty state of mind was interrupted by yet another late member. This time, a muscular and sharp looking man with bruises. Another fighter would certainly be useful, especially one who would go loud in Geno's place. His response to Milo's wise-crack was reassuring that this new-new person wasn't also a meat-head.

He sheathed the knife and leaned forward in his seat, attentive to the rest of the plans that were being made.

I don't think you mean over-powerlessness pow·er·less (pour-ls)adj.1. Lacking strength or power; helpless and totally ineffectual.2. Lacking legal or other authority.I think you meant overpowered. Which leads to my question. What is overpowered in this RP? Who decides and by what criteria is a character overpowered?

Yup, typo on my part. Didn't even notice it. Thanks XD

Oh you know, just no power-playing and stuff like that. Your champion isn't invincible.
Alright bros, chiggity-check this shit out!

History and fiction have been home to many beings of great power.
These timeless souls are revered and feared, referred to by their mortal followings as "Gods."
But the concerns of these simple humans mean little, even to the most kindred of deities.
Instead of tailoring to the wishes of their cultists, they seek to overpower each other.

Surely a clash of immortal and omnipotent beings would bring about no change.
This is why the gods select or create lesser beings to represent them on the fields of battle.
These "Champions" happily wear the titles of the gods into the arena, to smite the champions who would oppose them and their god.

Today is a special day.
For you have been chosen.
So take up your arms.
And fight...
Fight...
For the Gods!

For the Gods is quite literally an arena roleplay, where players duke it out for the glory of deities from history, from fiction, and from your own creation. Literally any divine (or occult) being of great power can have a Champion, and its up to you to earn honor for them in the ring!

Rules
Nothing too fancy here, just typical rp rules such as avoiding over-poweredness, being a dickbag, etc.
Website members notdeadyet and Daglobster are Co-Gm's on this rp, so heed their word as well.

WE ARE RECRUITING! MAKE A CS FROM THE TEMPLATE BELOW AND JOIN THE FUN

Character Sheet Template

The CS comes in three parts, one for your Champion, one for your Deity, and one for information relevant to both characters. In this roleplay, you are effectively making two characters, as it is possible for the gods your Champions represent to converse and conflict.

NPC's
On second thought, I think I shan't make a CS... yet. If it's ok with you guys, I'll open the OOC and we'll see if we can get more people into this.
The Museum heist was one that Geno was already familiar with. He wasn't there when Brooker met with the client, but he was the next to know. The 'kids' were already putting together a plan, and a seemingly good one so far. Geno knew he would be the one to end up taking out most of the guard population on the night of the heist, albeit with significantly more lethal force than Brooker would prefer, but that's why Geno was the team's hitman and not Brooker. He had always had a thirst for killing that, when combined with his perfect silence, put even Brooker on edge. Regardless, investigating the building during the day under the guise of civilians was pretty smart.

Since he was already aware of the circumstances, Geno let his thoughts run away as his hands idled along one of the throwing knives he drew from concealed scabbards on his person.
I was going to make a time/space knowledge based god but I think it would be too similar to The Raven God. Luckily I have pages and pages of back up gods xD.
