There's always the option of rebooting it under new management. The way I look at it, as long as it's acknowledged that we're using an RP from someone else, there's no issue; not like these things are copyrighted. 

Still working on my character. The holidays were rough and for reasons I won't go into here I ended up ringing in the new year from the emergency room.

No harm in tagging folks, IMO. Maybe aim to rally back in after the holidays.

So I've got a running idea for a character that's aligned with the Org. She was previously a knight that served as a castle guard in Radiant Garden, but turned to a nobody during the events that preceded KHI with that world succumbing to the Heartless. She was spared the effects of the reset during to being caught in the Realm of Darkness at the time. May nix the nobody part though.

My main question is whether we'll be allowed to play as Org members in thud too. 

Like, if there's an anomaly character that's discovered and they're so inclined to join the cause of the Org of Light, would they be allowed to join?

Are we restricted to only playing as Resistence fighters?

Not entirely sure, but I think that the time loops could either not set back to the beginning at all(because it isn't ten years in the loop yet), or, if they do, it's because of the hero group doing things such as helping the worlds' residents remembering life before the loops, and trying to get Sora and Riku back by figuring out how the loops could get under their control/weaponized against the Org of Light. The Org of Light would then try to reset things back to the beginning of the loops, so the hero group doesn't mess with the worlds "being in their peak of light". The hero group would still remember everything, though, and maybe, due to their actions, the world residents start to remember things that "they shouldn't" as well.

Does that make sense? Also, this whole thing is gonna be highly based on your characters' choices, though I'll definitely have to figure out they would be able to make the world residents start remembering life outside of the loops.@Dragonfly 9

Still a bit foggy. Maybe it's for not seeing it in action, but it just seems like it would be simpler for the 'resets' to not involve the timelooping and be more of the Org of Light steadily working to reform the barriers between worlds a la KH1. Granted that impacts the nature of the Resistance as it would have a more even footing with the Org. Prior concepts of "KH but the Light side is Evil" I've seen tend to work within the realms of Sora and company establish a new world order that eventually becomes overzealous in its effort to maintain balance to the point that it starts overcorrecting. 

In terms of your vision, is the Org a group that essentially traveled back in time and undid the events of the core series games?
