I enjoy the irony that my most judgemental cat prefers me, while most judgemental humans stay away from me.

Bio

Not born in a log cabin, I came into the RPing venture around 2009 and quickly joined about twenty roleplays more than I should have at the time. I've been around the internet in that time span, participated in and run RPs on multiple forums, and brushed shoulders with a wide variety of players and characters. Getting to work with new people has always been part of the allure of the experience.

My interests in RPing are pretty diverse, and not genre-specific; if there's room at the table and I can think of a dish to serve, I'll cook something up for just about any meal. If you know what I mean.

So given the timeloop aspect of the Org of Light's operations, how crazy are things going to get as far as resets and such during the actual run of the RP? That part of it feels a bit... convoluted?
Covering a similar beat to prior KH RPs I've seen and been in. I'm interested.
The group still on the train is awaiting a post from Sadie.
Throwing my interest in on this.

Toni Hawkes

Toni glared at what form of the massive Rue she could see. It stared back at her; she could feel that much. The Rue wasn't going to listen to her, least of all given the tone she had taken with it. The force of its will squeezed and pressed in, so much so that Toni grew numb to the whirling sensations from outside of the train. To her, the whole world might have been compressed into the car, and it was growing smaller, tighter. For the lapse of seconds the feeling held, her sense of the Rue was accompanied by a wave claustrophobia. If she couldn't pull herself out, she knew, she wouldn't hold out much longer.

The space grow dark. Toni's breath struggled.

And then...

Pain.

A shredding, piercing pain streaked through her right arm. It burned like the heat of a gunshot. She knew the feeling; she had felt it back on the platform.

The pain was proceeded by a steadying of her breathing. Her vision returned. It was like almost fainting but coming to at the last second.

The Rue seemed to have fled. Yiya's body lay unmoving on the floor. Toni, hanging in a state of confusion, registered Sasha rushing to their client's side. Though uneasily, Toni moved hastily to join Sasha. "We need to dress her wounds... uh... apply pressure to stop the blee--"

Toni cut herself off. The resurgent stimulation of the Rue within the train had ripped her from her thought. She turned to the back of the car. Someone else that Toni hadn't seen at the station stood, frozen still in the aisle; shadowy mist was amassed behind her. "It's here." Her senses told her that the presence she felt was emanating from where the newcomer was standing. Toni looked at her, fighting to stay composed. "The Rue is in here. I feel it. It's threatening you, isn't it? What does it want?"
I should have time to pull a post together in the next few days.
Is the camp actually in a city? I was getting the vibe it was kinda out in the middle of some good ole' Midwest cornfields.

So, the Runners are technically human, what sets them apart is the Soul Gears that mysteriously surfaced when the Teras did. My main plan for this is that all the Runners were previously a Teras before coming into contact with a Soul Gear, which forced a reverse transformation back to a human-ish form. All Runners have some sort of odd feature that they had as a Teras, that wasn't fully cleansed but isint really a problem, so they have a weird quirk or whatever that no normal human has. For example, a Runner might have an animal tail, or maybe a portion of their skin is replaced by scales or an amorphous substance, whatever the player can come up with that isint blatantly interfering with the Runner's performance or sanity could be implemented. At least, as long as it's not interfering to the point where it's pointless to play that character.

So generally, would these Quirks tend to benefit the runners in some way?
@Wayward Good to potentially have you! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about Labrynth.

What is the nature of the Runners? Are they physically different from other people?
Toni is between a rock and a hard place now.
