Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.
I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.
I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.
When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.
If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

Harriets explanation made Benjamin wonder how much he would really mind if Steph would have to feed in the way people assumed of succubi. He looked at her from the corners of his eyes and noticed her blush. And what would be worse, if he would be the victim, or someone else... According to the stories Succubi could be dangerous, draining a man of all his life-energy, but he was certain Steph was not like that. And thinking about her feeding off another man actually gave a stab of jealousy. He turned his attention back on the menu, maybe he shouldn't be thinking of that.
"Technically we're never off work completely. If the boss calls because there is an emergency, we have to go, it doesn't matter if we're on a break of sleeping." He examined the menu and tried very hard not to talk about work, but he couldn't. "Why do you call them unknows?" he asked as he looked up. "How can you not know what you know? If we know a creature is a vampire or a werewolf or whatever, why are they still called 'unknown'?" He looked at Duncan. "You called yourself an unknown, but you are a cyborg, aren't you? Why not call yourself what you really are?"
"Yeah, I'll go get some and we'll eat outside." Ethan didn't feel for eating indoors, and he certainly didn't want to see how agents looked at her, it would only aggravate him and he didn't want. He was about to go inside when he thought about something. "Which one?" he asked, looking back at her. He didn't mind to grab a sandwich for her, but he did want to know what he had to bring back for her. "Cheese, ham, cheese and ham, chicken curry... I don't even know what else they have, there's probably more, but those are pretty standard."

"Imagine being in large crowds when you are so small people can step on you," Lytse said. "I'm glad I'm small enough for my trainer to carry me," he added.
"Yeah, that is nice," the Dunsparce agreed, shuffling closer to Alliel. "So, is your master a friend of mine?" She glanced to Gavin, having never seen him before, but Mindy seemed at ease with him, talking and laughing. It seemed to be okay.
"Thank you," Mindy said, smiling brightly at Gavin. "I don't keep her in a Pokéball, because she's claustrophobic, but with my pendant I can call her when I need her. She can fly faster than the speed of sound, so it never takes her long to be here, regardless of where she is." She fiddled with her hair as she looked at her partner. "I can't use her for a Pokémon battle inside, she doesn't like to be confined in a room with no clear access to the sky."
The Dragonite looked down at Charcoal. "Indeed I am," she said to him and she examined the small Pokémon. "You look different from other Charmander I have met, but those wings look cute on you." She looked up at Mindy's Charizard. "Don't they, Blaze?"
"Can you fly with them?" the Charizard asked as he joined the Dragonite and the winged Charmander.
As Blaze asked his question to Charcoal, the Dragonite watched Saber.
"That is Michael," Anthony said when he saw who the Noibat was looking at, and that she seemed nervous about him looking in their direction. "He's a good guy.
"That is true," Merlin agreed, looking at the Noibat. He wasn't sure why she acted like that all of the sudden.
Anthony noticed Jycii on the roof, he spread his wings and flitted towards her to greet her. It was nice there were so many winged Pokémon with them today. In Michaels team he was the only one who could fly. He just hoped he would be big and strong soon, so he could carry Michael when he needed to go somewhere.

But Ray would still be jealous, right? This could be an interesting turn for the RP.
I did feel a better click between Dia and Benjamin than with Benjamin and Ray. He cares for Ray, but I don't think he'll develop strong feelings for her.

She'll be a great teacher :) although with the first opportunity he will probably give a lecture about why he doesn't like the term unknown XD
How would Ray's jealousy be if Benjamin were to take a liking to Dia? Because I can't explain why (authors have full control over their characters, right? They never develop on their own...) but I'm seeing Benjamin getting closer to Dia than to Ray and I kinda like the idea of him caring for Ray, but loving Dia.

"I will confirm it if they ask," Benjamin promised. "And I'll even tell them when I explain why I didn't go to group therapy today." He couldn't hold back a sigh when he realized they would ask him about that. "I don't want you or Ray in trouble and if we do it like this, they can't get mad at you or blame Ray. It will be completely my fault and I'm okay with that. I'm definitely not the worst behaving patient here, so I'm sure there will be little to no consequences."
Thining about it, the worst thing he would get would be a lecture about why group therapy was necessary for him. He would just make sure to go to the therapy next day, like a good boy, and that would be that.

Officer Jenny looked at the young woman in front of her. "The Ranger HQ is on Evoru," she told her. "There are a few rangers patrolling on the island, but I'm not sure where they are exactly right now. Jolin Kaldara is the head of the Rorie Rangers, so maybe you will want to talk with her." She checked the clock. "It will be an hour before the ferry to Evoru arrives. I'm not sure about the Umbreon, I do know there are some Eevee's in Mesperit, and one may have evolved into an Umbreon, so it is possible."
She smiled at the new ranger in front of her. "The police department in Kanto requested we keep an eye out for the thief who is probably still on the run. He or she could have gone anywhere, but they informed the train station and us to keep an eye out. The Bullet Train and the Ferry are the fastest ways out of the region, especially if you time it right. Some of my men did keep an eye on those exiting the ferry but they hadn't seen anything suspicious. Have you?"
