Benjamin cupped Steph's face in his hands and looked her in the eyes. "Steph, Relax. I'm just saying you are beautiful, and I said it wasn't a surprise because according to the myths angels are beautiful creatures, but I doubt any of them is as pretty as you are." He released her face, but instead moved to grab her hand. "How about we go to my room and I will play a song on my saxophone and you will, for a moment, stop thinking about what happened today. Deal?"
Mr Johnson sighed when he got the text from the agent, she wasn't growing mellow, was she? Whatever the beast's purpose was, they could handle it themselves. Humans had been fighting dangerous creatures for millennia, they didn't need any unpredictable monsters in their area.
I'll look into it he texted back, and then texted one of the snipers he had send out to get an idea about what had happened. He frowned when the sniper mentioned witnessing the green thing that Gaia had fought after she had been docile.
That was something to further investigate.
