Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

Benjamin cupped Steph's face in his hands and looked her in the eyes. "Steph, Relax. I'm just saying you are beautiful, and I said it wasn't a surprise because according to the myths angels are beautiful creatures, but I doubt any of them is as pretty as you are." He released her face, but instead moved to grab her hand. "How about we go to my room and I will play a song on my saxophone and you will, for a moment, stop thinking about what happened today. Deal?"

Mr Johnson sighed when he got the text from the agent, she wasn't growing mellow, was she? Whatever the beast's purpose was, they could handle it themselves. Humans had been fighting dangerous creatures for millennia, they didn't need any unpredictable monsters in their area.
I'll look into it he texted back, and then texted one of the snipers he had send out to get an idea about what had happened. He frowned when the sniper mentioned witnessing the green thing that Gaia had fought after she had been docile.
That was something to further investigate.

Mike and Ethan looked at each other.
"I guess I have work to do," Mike said.
"Yes. Fucking monsters," Ethan growled. "I'm going for some practice shooting." He glanced around but didn't see Gaia anywhere. Where had she flown off to? He shrugged, it didn't really matter.
Benjamin took Ray's shoulder. "I'm never far away," he promised her. "We're just doing an act for the staff, that's it. Let's have breakfast together, if we skip sitting together for the evening meal I'm sure they won't object to us sharing a table in the morning." He let go of her shoulder again, gave a final smile and walked towards the common area. Still not sure what he would do there, but he'd figure it out.

It was nice to have Dia with him, he enjoyed her company. "I won't talk much to you when others are around," he warned her. "When they have proof I'm still delusional they will want to force their medication on me. And me talking to the air will count as proof for them." He sighed, how he hated not being able to do what he wanted here.

"I have that idea too," Marc agreed, "they are friends. They don't touch as lovers would." He paused as he looked at Sara. "Do you want to go for that drink straight after my shift, or would you rather go tonight after dinner?" he asked. "I mean, I can pick you up at any time, no problem."
He kept his hand down, even though he'd much rather run his fingers through his hair because of the nerves.
Andy looked at his dinner guest as he asked his question, sipping from the milkshake. It was a surprise the coke was actually to his liking, but he wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad thing about the drink. "I have a feeling the conversation we're about to have may be better suited for a more..." he glanced around to all the people here, eating and drinking, "private environment, because I very much doubt my conclusion will be 'I knew it, you're British!'. And I have some questions for you too." He put all the trash together and got up from the seat. "We'll throw this away and head out, I know a few places where we will have a bit more privacy." He paused and turned to Alastor. "If you're not afraid to go with strangers," he added with a wink.

Benjamin looked from Ray to Ari and Dia. "If either of them wants to walk with me they are free to do so, I enjoy the company. But, I'm not going to be much fun in public, when I'm alone I try to avoid talking to people others can't see." He shrugged and had a resigned look in his eyes. "It's why I'm here for and the fewer nurses see me talk to the air, the better it will be." He looked at both spirits. "But when others aren't around I certainly don't mind the chat. If Ray doesn't need you you are welcome to come with me."

Marc helped her on her feet again. "I'm looking forward to it as well," he said, returning the smile. "I just saw Benjamin and Ray, I think we need to keep an eye on them. They are spending time together in their rooms, I know today wasn't the first time, and I warned them about it. I don't think it's needed to mark it in their file yet, right?"
He was fairly sure he had done the right thing by just giving them a warning, but it was nice to be able to talk about it to someone else of the staff who wasn't senior staff.
Mindy looked back when Gavin called her name and smiled when he finished his sentence. "It's my pleasure," she assured him as she went to the shop. "There are some things I'm going to check out in that store too, my parents deposited some spending money on my account, I'm certain I'll find something nice that will make travelling a bit easier."

The Flamethrower scorched the Eevee, but she stayed on her legs.
"Okay Eevee!" Whitney exclaimed. "Use your swift now, on that Fletchling!"
The Eevee fired several stars to Anthony, who wasn't prepared for it and got hit by them.
"And Rollout, Dunsparce!" She added.
Whitney's Dunsparce curled up in a ball and rolled over the field to Sparky.
"Anthony, Pech the Eevee!" Michael ordered and Anthony flew in to peck Eevee on the head with his beak.

Saruya looked at Harry, he looked different, but he still had the same eyes. As the Mightyena leapt, so did she, jumping up to use Take Down on the Mightyena. As if she'd allowed that bitch to lay a paw on Harry. The boys could battle it out amongst them, she had her eyes set in this Mightyena.

"She came when Andy needed her, I'm forever grateful." she couldn't begin to imagine how it would have been in the area of her brother. After a glance to Andy, she turned her attention to Mitch again. ""I'm really sorry about that flirting though, I don't know why he thought that was a good idea. He knows she's a legendary Pokémon, but he just ignored it. Please forgive him."

"Look," Mike said when Harriet was gone, "I learned more about Succubi, Stuart has been studying them and shared his findings. They are demons and they have killed men, but even if they don't, they can still... enchant a victim so they have an easy prey and the victim will think he is in love. And I tried to warn Ben about that."
"But he's in love and doesn't want to listen," Ethan concluded, spitting on the ground. "Morrison mentioned something similar with vampires, they can use their looks and charisma to blind a prey, make them fall in love with them. And because they look human we think they are, but they aren't human and we should never forget that. Steph is a succubus and a succubus is a demon who preys on men." he cursed under his breath and moved to put a cigarette in his mouth. "What do you want to do about it?" he asked with the cigarette between his lips as he tapped his pockets to find his lighter.
"I know how to send her to the demons realm, so I was going to not bring it up again with Ben, because he won't listen anyway, and just keep an eye on her. And if she does seem dangerous to him I will protect him, even if he doesn't want me to."
"Good plan," Ethan said. "I'll back you up. Don't go against her alone. You'll need time to do those ritual-things, right?" he saw Mike nod and lit his cigarette. "Then I will keep her distracted for as long as you need. No fucking demon will get Ben."

"It was nice meeting you too," Benjamin said and watched Mack fly away, before turning to the perplexed Steph. "Beautiful?" he finished the question, even though he knew that wasn't what Steph was referring to, he just liked to take the opportunity to point it out. "Although that shouldn't be a surprise if you are related to angels."

Agent Morrison had found the file and walked to where Ethan was. He halted when he saw Mike was with him, but decided that it wouldn't hurt if he would see the same things. Actually, that boy was a good excuse for showing the file. So he went over to them. "Additional assignment," he said, looking at Mike. "Here are the details of a demon, we had been able to defeat it, but we need better ways to deal with them. We believe there may be a nest of them somewhere." He handed Mike the file, who opened it.
It had pictures of the dead demon, it's written characteristics, the location where it had been found and killed, and the images of its victims, including a little girl. As Mike's eyes filled with horror as he watched it, Ethan's eyes darkened and showed anger.
"Can you look into it?" agent Morrison asked. "There are no reported sightings, so there is no rush, but we want to be ready in case they do come back. Last time it was a battle that cost the lives of five agents before we managed to kill it."
"Of course," Mike said.
"Great." He turned to Ethan. "Make sure to rest before we leave on our vampire hunt. It will be a long night." When Ethan nodded he wished them both a good afternoon and went away. He had purposely avoided the question if Gaia would still join them. It was best if Ethan forgot about her.

Mr. Johnson looked over all the data his operative had send him. It was all very interesting, this actually worked. All they had to do was crack up the volume when innocent people were at risk and Ethan would surely end Gaia for them. He trusted Gaia now and would finally see she really was nothing more than a monster.
He got a text from agent Morrison to let hem know about the file, he nodded to himself as he read it, it was a smart move to include Mike in it. All he needed to do now was keep Harriet busy. Maybe a bit of a wild-goose chase. A fake report about those gems. He needed her to be out of the way when the others would deal with her team-members.
He picked up the phone and dialled a number. "Keith, I will e-mail you some details, I need a fake mission soon."
"Okay boss."
Mr. Johnson quickly e-mailed some details to his specialist.

Both attacks hit each other and the resulting shockwave blasted sand in every direction. Henri shielded his eyes from the incoming sand, but he thought he saw something brown in it too.
"I guess I'll have to do some sweeping after this," he muttered and he dusted off his clothes when the sand after the blast was over. One of the downsides of running the ground gym, but at least he wouldn't get wet, unlike Alana when something like this happened in her battlefield.
He scanned his battlefield, but his Diglett was nowhere to be seen. He waited for a moment, but then looked at the Absol and his opponent. "Really good attack," he said. "Smart move too. If the Bulldoze attack would have hit the Absol it could have been over for you, because he put a lot of force in it, but countering it with another attack was a good strategy." He gestured to the field. "It looks like Diglett withdrew deeper into the sand, you disturbed his habitat violently twice and I think he had enough. And you showed good skill and strategy, so I will award your efforts with a ground badge."
"A bold decision," Andy stated. "Very well, I'll go get you one." He got up from the seat and went to get a bottle of coca-cola from it. Figuring that too might be too sweet for the taste of his odd dinner-guests, and the bubbles would probably be a surprise too, he took a bottle with water too. He'd rather not have to get up again.
It was odd though, that the man wouldn't know the name of a brand that was probably the most well-known around the world.

He paid for the drinks and returned to the table, placing the requested bottle next to his former patient's food. "Enjoy," he said, moving to eat a few of his own fries before they would be cold.
That is not a lot. I hope you managed to rest up a bit after that <3
