Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

"Another Mew?" Penalopy gasped. "No, no, no! That wouldn't be Niccia! I don't want that!" She turned invisible and floated away, towards the forest.
James jumped up when he saw her disappear from view. "Miss Penalopy, wait!" he said as he quickly went in the direction he thought she had left in.

Andy listened to the two legendaries; it sounded like Arceus wasn't part much of his creation. Watching Varina poke her head into Gavin had to be one of the weirdest things he had ever seen. The nauseous look afterwards wasn't a surprise.
"Thanks Varina," he said and he put a hand on Gavin's shoulder. "Do you want to get a drink? They have a water dispenser in the Pokémon Center and if that is not sufficient, I know places where they sell something stronger too."

Mindy looked at the dress Niccia was holding when she moved her tail across the fabric. "You have to try it on," she encouraged Niccia. "I think you would look so pretty in it." She pulled out a dress with yellow and purple flowers "What do you think of this?"

You, tormenting Gavin? Impossible.
"But Celebi first~" Penalopy chimed. "I couldn't play air-tag with Mew, I want to play with Celebi now~"
She thought about the times she and Niccia had played together. They had so much fun. "When will she take her normal form again?" Penalopy asked. "You think she'll come back after her human dies? Humans don't live that long, a hundred years tops."

Lytse didn't want to think about the end of life, but a hundred years sounded like a long time. He wasn't even sure how long the average Pokémon lived. At least he knew they could easily live for 30 years, weren't Andy's pokémon with him for that long already? Ghost types obviously would live longer, weren't they already dead? All the thoughts made his little head hurt and he lay down, closing his eyes.

Andy listened as the two Legendary Pokémon talked to each other about the situation. "Then you should talk to the big boss when you can," he said to them. "I intend to stay close to Michael for the foreseeable future." He looked at Varina. "What is your thought about the Ultra-Beasts? Did you hear Darkrai mention them when you were there?"

The woman behind the counter nodded. "We do, actually," she said. "We have it in blue, green, pink and orange. They are over there." She pointed to a rack close to Mindy, who was looking at the dresses two racks away.
Mike and Benjamin watched how Steph opened the door and Benjamin stepped to the door.
"Don't judge," Mike quickly said. "And don't make this about you."

Benjamin nodded to that and stepped through the door. His eyes needed a moment to adjust to the dark room, but he soon saw Steph. And he saw the blood on her head.
"I'll take my chances," he said as he approached her. A part of him wanted to say how worried she had made him, but he recalled Mike saying he shouldn't make this about him. And he agreed, what good would it do to give her guilt on top of everything else? He took a clean handkerchief from his pocket as he walked towards her and crouched down near her. He gently wiped away some of the blood when he noticed where it came from and he folded it up to wrap it around the horn.
He wanted to ask 'what did you do?' but he decided that sounded too judgmental and it placed the blame on her. "What happened?" he asked her.

As Benjamin entered the room, Mike sat down, leaning his back on the opposite wall. He closed his eyes and rested his head against the wall too.

Morrison exited the car too and walked around to help Jase with Carl. "How about we let the medics decide that?" he asked, standing behind Jase and looking into the car. "We're taking you to the infirmary, like it or not."
From what he could see, Carl was not fine.
"Right," Benjamin said as he rubbed his forehead. "I'm getting a massive headache, let's go to my room. I think it's best staff doesn't see you. It won't take them long to figure out you are not a registered patient or member of the staff." He started going in the direction of his room. "How were things with Ray?"

Somewhere with just the two of them? That would be... at his home. It was too fast to invite her there, but Marc kept it as an idea for another date. A movie-date at his place. He could live with that. "You're probably right, I'm the sure the psychiatrist would have organised something like that already if she thought it was beneficial for the patients." He turned to examine the books behind him. "I'm going to go over and pick one," he said. "I'll be back soon."
Benjamin stared at the door as he listened to Steph's words and he turned to Mike when she was finished. "What happened?"

"She came to me," Mike began the explanation, "because she wanted to talk and she said she didn't know how to convince she was good. Before I could say anything Stuart joined us and demanded her to release you from her influence and then he reminded me that Succubi are masters of manipulation and deception. When Steph turned to me again she ended with the question if I thought she was a monster. I told her I didn't, but that she is a demon. And that I was worried about you, because Succubi are known to be dangerous and I hadn't seen any evidence about a good one yet. That's when she left."

"Damn..." At least he understood where all this came from now, but Benjamin didn't like what he had heard. "What do we do?" he asked as he looked at Mike, who remained silent. "What do I do? You've been through this, what can I do?"

"You can try telling her you love her and that she didn't manipulate you, but she won't believe that," he said softly, with his back to the door, so Steph would most likely not hear it. "Her own depressing thoughts sound more truthful than what any of us can say and there is no arguing against that dark voice in her head. Just be there for her, don't try to convince her with words, show you care with actions. And don't leave her locked up in her room. It's an echo-chamber now. She will only get more convinced she is right and get more depressed and might try to harm herself or try... to end it." He choked up and looked away.

"Are you okay?" Benjamin asked.

"Of course not," Mike replied. "I almost lost my girlfriend this way." He turned to Harriet. "I'd try to break through the door if it was me, because I know what my girlfried would do if she was left alone in a state like this, but I don't know Steph that well and I don't know what works best for her. And since I'm part of the problem, I can't help anyway. It's up to you two."

Benjamin turned to Harriet. "Do we barge in?" he asked her.

Agent Morrison looked at Jase and thought about the question. This was not something to take lightly. "I can only tell them what I saw during this mission: that you were in control of yourself and that I wasn't in any danger. And if they want me to extrapolate and assess your level of threat, I'd place you at a low-level threat in the level-4 beast category. You're too strong to be classed as a lower level beast." As he said it he realised Jase probably wouldn't like being called a beast, but he couldn't help it those were the official terms for creatures like him. "I mean, no offence," he added, "but that is how I would have to report it."

"The beasts?" Lytse asked. "If you're talking about the legendary Beast Trio we already did. Raikou stole Missy, Michael's Poocheyna," he added the clarification for the Pokémon that hadn't met her yet, "And me and Michael went after her. That's where the two Arcanines learned the are really descendants of two of them." He lowered his voice. "And now it looks like they are hunted because of that."

Penalopy listened to Lytse with an open mouth. "That is so exciting~" she said as she made a looping in the air. "Maybe they are still close then!" She looked at Gavin and the others too. "They are awfully serious though, maybe I should..."
"Maybe they want to talk amongst themselves," James quickly interrupted her. After all, only Gavin had been called to join Andy and Frosiien and if they had wanted to include her they would have called for her.

"So we can agree that is bad, although it's just a theory right now," Andy said. "The question is: what can we do to protect Niccia and Michael. She will still be Darkrai's main focus, right?"

Mindy looked through the window and pointed to one of the yellow and blue dress and a red dress with blue flowers "They have such cute dresses here. That yellow dress would look so good on you if they have one with pink instead of blue. Let's go see if we can find one!"
She entered the store and started browsing the clothing racks to see what they could find.
"I haven't spoken to Mike," Benjamin admitted. "It was Ethan who called him and he summarized the conversation for me." He looked at the slurs and the runes. "Yeah, let's see who was it. I know it wasn't Mike who did it."

"What is it I didn't do?" Mike asked as he approached them.

Benjamin wasn't sure how he felt about seeing Mike, but he gestured to the door and Mike joined them.

After going over the slurs Mike got the note from Benjamin and his expression changed as his lips formed the words written on the note and he started shaking his head. "No..." he muttered and he gripped the doorhandle, but the door didn't budge. "I think it's barricaded," he said with a rushed sound in his voice and he pounded on the door. "Steph! Open the door! Harriet and Ben are here for you!"

"How do you know she's in there?" Benjamin asked.

"That's exactly where Kim would be after leaving a note like that on the door," Mike said with a pained voice. "Where she was after she left a similar note," he corrected himself. "Shut away from the world, trying to deal with the pain herself in an unhealthy way."

That made Benjamins eyes fill with fear and now he pounded the door. "Steph, if you are in there, please open the door."

Mike stepped back now, letting Benjamin and Harriet take over.

Morisson didn't reply at first.
"That is possible," he eventually said. "It is... policy when allowing potentially dangerous creatures to be agents." He glanced sideways. "No offense, you don't look like something that would be classed in the harmless creatures category."
He wasn't sure how he felt about Jase getting such a collar; he was fairly sure Jase didn't need one or deserved one, but it wasn't his job to decide on policy.

He parked the car and cut the engine. Now he could properly face Jase. "You can't hide this and even if you can, I wouldn't put it past those fallen angels to spread the word about your existence. I think it would be better to come clean before they will start the rumours and force an investigation from our agency."

Benjamin had just opened the file when Harriet suddenly appeared next to him. "Whoa," he uttered when he moved away and slid off the bed on which he had been sitting on the edge. He quickly got up to sit down again. "Yeah, I called. I didn't know you could teleport though." He looked at Harriet. "I take it you haven't seen Steph's room then. Things are not going well and I don't know where she is. Agents, including Mike, think of her as a demon and let it be known to her they see the demon first. There was a note on her door too. Maybe you should come read it for yourself." He went to the door and gestured to Harriet to follow him. The note probably meant she had left, but to where? Benjamin's stomach turned with worry and he halted in front of the door, gesturing to the slurs and the small note as he looked at Harriet.

Mike decided to head to his room, he left the library and walked slowly to where the bedrooms were. He still tried to wrap his head around what had happened; Steph had not reacted like he had expected and it had felt very real. Was she so good at emotional manipulation, as Stuart suggested? All he had read so far seemed to agree with what Stuart had said.

Morisson glanced to the side when some kind of greenish light caught the corner of his eye. Where those... runes? He glanced to Jase who had his eyes closed briefly, until he was forced to look at the road ahead again. Humans could learn to do magic, that in itself was not an indiction Jase wasn't human anymore, but it was obvious the man had changed a lot.

When they reached the gate he pushed in the numbers on the panel, waited for the gate to open and drove through. Behind them the gate closed as he drove to the parking lot.
Penalopy joined the three guardians and hugged James. "So, what are we going to do for fun until Starfall begins?" she chimed when she suddenly remembered something. "Doesn't Celebi have a shrine in Johto? We should totally go there! Who is with me?"

Andy looked at Gavin with an unusually serious expression on his face. "Frosiien said it's possible that Darkrai could enlist the help of the Ultra-Beasts if he would need it. I don't know how well you legendary Pokémon know them, but I know very little and even I don't like the sound of that." He glanced to the direction first Niccia and then Michael had left in. "And we don't want to tell Michael and Niccia yet."

Michael went into the Pokémon center and offered his Pokéballs to nurse Joy, who promised to take care of them. Michael sat down on one of the chairs with Benny next to him.
"What do you suppose we'll do next?" Michael asked.
"There are plenty of gyms," Benny told them. "And there is a shrine in Ilex Forest, that's not far from here."
"That does sound interesting," Michael muttered, he enjoyed watching old buildings.

"Michael should take you there," Mindy said with a laugh. "He lives there." She got more serious when Niccia mentioned the stuff that had been going on. "Yeah, that. It feels like a dream, I can still barely believe I actually met legendary Pokémon in human form. I suppose people adapt differently, some can accept new information and events with relative ease, others may panic. I like to think I'm handling it okay, but it does feel overwhelming, you know." She looked at the ears and tail, at first she had thought this girl was just a mew-enthusiast, but to think this was actually Mew and she was talking with her... "Anyway, the shop is over there," she said as she pointed to the building, changing the subject.
