Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

"I instructed them not to," mr Johnson said. "But we'll see what happens when it comes to that. Is there any further purpose for this phonecall?"

Rudrig noticed his phone went off and he grabbed it. After looking at the name on the screen for a moment he pushed the button to accept the call.
"Yes Rose?" he said as he walked through his office, gathering some files and dropping them on his desk.
Why did she call him? And why did she still have a phone on her if she was being transported to that facility? Someone hadn't done their job, that was for sure.

The three friends stared at Harriet as she exited the building, barely paying attention to what Duncan said and talking about shadows.
"Guys," Benjamin said after she had jumped through the portal. "I love Steph, but I love Mike too. Let's not tell her he knew Steph was going to be taken away by agents."
"Good plan," Ethan muttered. "She looked possessed or something. What shadows was she talking about?"

They noticed Freya and dropped something. Mike walked to whatever had fallen, followed by Ethan and Benjamin, and examined it.

One of the agents outside looked up Harriets number and texted her: *Mike was involved in Steph's disappearance; he knew it was happening and stopped someone from coming to her aid. He is trained to hunt down Succubi*
He glanced to Mike and almost felt bad for the boy, but at this point he was collateral damage. The instruction were that Harriet had to be proven dangerous and overhearing Benjamin's team he had decided this was the best way.

Penalopy sat on top of the shrine, swaying gently from left to right as she sang. It was going to be a great day and what better way to start that by singing?

Andy was utterly unimpressed by Mitch's growl. "You can tell Arceus and I will listen to everything you have to say to me," Andy promised him. "But the only opinion I really care about is Frosiien's."
Would he stand up against Arceus if he had to? It probably was futile to do so, but he would.
He noticed his two flying Pokémon returning to him, probably to see what was taking them so long.
"It's really pretty in the forest," Benny said. "And tranquil, as if the world is at peace. The world is probably listening to Meloetta now."

"I think I do," Michael said as he turned his head slightly to listen more closely; he could definitely hear a melody in the wind. As he looked around he noticed the light. This was exciting; very few humans had ever seen this.
He also kept an eye on what was happening with his uncle and Mitch; the guardian was angry about what had happened.

Mindy fiddled a bit with her hair. "That's why it's a subject for an ethical debate. There is no one right answer, as our answers change depending on the variables." She gestured to Andy. "He loves those debates and will add variables to challenge a previously formed consensus. When we in class agreed that killing one was more ethical than three, he would suggest the one person is someone we know and that changed how we felt about it."
She stopped with her explanation as she looked around. "It's so pretty here. The forest wasn't always like this, was it?"
I'll reply somewhere in the afternoon or evening. My best time to write is now and I want to focus on my NaNoWriMo story first. Got 35k of the 50k done, but I still have a lot of story to tell.
Uh oh... *hides*
Lytse had watched it all from Soul's back and he thought about it. Michael had been able to understand Niccia after they had kissed and Mitch had been afraid that the accidental kiss was already enough to pass the gift. That meant a second kiss they both meant could easily have done it. There was one way to test that.
"Andy?" he squeaked.

Andy held Frosiien as she pressed her forehead against his. Just holding her felt great, but that kiss had been something too.
"Yes?" he said when he heard his name and he looked at the Cyndaquil. Then he blinked. He was certain he had heard the Cyndaquil speak like it always had, but for some reason he had also known he had said his name, like understanding a foreign language: hearing the words they use and knowing what it means.

"Do we need to repeat that to make the observation scientifically valid?" Michael asked with a grin when he saw the confusion on his uncle's face. The moment he could actually tease his uncle were rare and he thoroughly enjoyed the moment. Even more so when his uncle sighed and wasn't able to come up with a witty comeback on the spot.

Andy moved to take Frosiiens hands so they could continue walking to the shrine. "Did you do that?" he asked her. He knew the story how Michael had gotten his ability, so it made sense, but he wanted to make sure.
"But you heard me, right?" Lytse asked.
"Yes Lytse, I heard you," Andy replied, looking back at the Cyndaquil and then glanced at Mitch. "And I can't wait to hear what you have to say to me."

Mindy laughed a bit. "You know, it's a thought experiment in which we assume the people can't be freed: you are in the train and can only decide which track to go to, no-one is around to save them. There would be no ethical dilemma is the people could be freed easily."
"I'm the one who made sure she will end up on her own," mr Johnson retorted. "But she will be on her way soon. At one point she'll have to give up looking for her partners to go after the gem." And if she wouldn't he'd have an excuse to break ties with her; an agent that would let a human die had no place in their agency. "I haven't received word about her other partner," he continued. "He is not in our agency. I assume they will go together."

"Wouldn't be surprised about that," the agent replied. "Succubi are known to seduce men and break marriages. I don't see why this one would be an exception. Bloody monsters."
He drove away from the mansion and away from the city Steph had visited with Ben that day. The compound was hidden in an abandoned farm a few kilometres from this place. The van hit a bump in the road, not hard enough to do any damage, but hard enough to be felt. Especially by those in the back.

"Inside, I guess," Ethan said to Duncan. "Haven't seen her for a while now. I guess she has no clue what happened to her teammates."
Granted, none of them knew for sure either, but Ethan was willing to bet everything he had that they were in that van that drove away. And there was no way any of them could do to stop it. He glanced aside. Except maybe for Mike. But having someone with wings would probably work better. And he shouldn't do so here.
"Let's go inside," he said to Benjamin, trying to make him understand it was important they would. "We'll help Duncan find Harriet, they guy said it was important."
"Yes, sure, let's do that," Benjamin agreed. "But I don't have the key to the door."

The female agent shook her head and opened the front door for them again. It had only been locked to make sure no-one they didn't want here would stumble upon their operation, but with that completed the door could be open again.
Marc stopped in front of the building and looked at the door. With the plants and the light colours the place looked like a good one. And he enjoyed working here. He turned to Sara. "Do you want me to walk with you to the desk?" he asked.
A part of him didn't want her to go inside; there she'd be a patient again.

But after today she wouldn't be a patient much longer; she had shown to be in control of her mental illness and, as far as he was concerned, she was capable of living in the society. As long as she would take her medication of course. But in the end that was up to the psychiatrist; he didn't have the authority or the proper education to make any decision in that regard.

Benjamin sat down on the bed as well. It was interesting to hear all that, not too hard to grasp either. If someone was willing to believe in spirits, which many people did not.
"Maybe we should look for Dia," he said, checking the time. "We still have a little time before everyone has to be in their beds."
The almost prison-like lights out mentality was one of the many things he disliked about this place. Almost everything here felt like a prison.
We have 2 entries now :) Looking forward to seeing more!
When Andy turned to look at Frosiien her lips collided with his. He blinked and he returned the smile when she smiled at him. "Cold? I don't know yet." He gently took her by the shoulders and kissed her again.
He heard some voices behind them, but he didn't really listen to it.
"Yep, they are cold," he said once he stepped back again and he winked. "As a scientist, I can't conclude anything unless the first result is replicated in a second test."

Michael watched it happen and then looked at the angry Mitch. His uncle was either ignoring him, or didn't understand him. He shook his head at his uncle's explanation for the second kiss.

Mindy turned to Gavin and paused. "A train is a vehicle used for transportation. It runs on tracks and usually big cities have stations where it can stop and people can get on and off." She figured he probably didn't know about the train-dilemma either. "You see, in ethics they have a dilemma: a train approaches a switch in the tracks and you can't stop the train, going to the right there is one person tied on the track who will die if the train runs over him, on the right track are five people tied up. So you have to decide which track you will go on: will you kill one person or the group of five? We debated that for an hour in professor Bansing's class."

Yes! You're almost there! Keep it up @Stormflyx

I'm at 28k myself, so I'm over the halfway point. I usually write between 1800 and 2200 words, but yesterday I did 3500. My personal best this month ^_^
