Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

"I don't think I will ever be comfortable here," Benjamin said. "But I appreciate you're here with me. It makes it easier."
He fell silent as he looked around. "I'm bothered most about Simon..." he whispered, not wanting others to hear him. "He died, I know he died. I saw him. But the staff keeps insisting he just went home. It wasn't a hallucination, I'm certain of that."

Being in this place did make him doubt; nurses had told him repeatedly that hallucinations could appear very real. What if... he shook his head as the thought started to form. He was not insane; ghosts were real and he just happened to be able to see them.
Benjamin nodded and continued to the mess hall with Ray. He flashed a smile as he looked at her. "It's good to see you too, I'm glad you're up again." He examined her for a moment. "You're in better shape than last night. Do you remember what happened after you took your medication?"

It was good to see Ray again; he enjoyed her company and he could freely talk with her about what he saw, because she was the only one who believed him. And she was company he could talk to without anyone bringing up medication.
Andy grinned as he walked towards Arceus with the keystone under his arm. "You know, I'm going to miss you having to possess Gavin and make him throw up just to talk with me. Gavin, on the other hand, will be quite pleased about it."

"Replacements?" Michael asked as he looked from Hyia, to Gavin and Niccia, and finally to Lecrero. "Most humans never see a legendary Pokémon in their life. We call you legendary because most only hear stories about you. Jirachi slumbers for a thousand years and I haven't met anyone who believes Jirachi is just a fairy tale." He shook his head. "I don't think anyone would have gotten suspicious if Gavin walks around for a few decades; people would just assume he was really well hidden."
He honestly couldn't believe what he had just heard. A new Mew, while Mew was still alive? Now he understood why Gavin had reacted like that, but why wasn't Niccia upset about this? She had even hugged Hyia.

Mindy turned to Saveri and then examined the new arrivals. It was really hard to tell what Pokémon they were. They all looked so human, with some unusual features. She gave up on trying to determine who was who. The other two, Andy and Michael, were more read up on Legendary Pokémon and were probably able to make educated guesses, but they seemed to be busy with other things.

Voltar turned to Xaphar and flashed a smile. "It's okay," he said to him. "So, what are we going to do first?"
"I don't know what you guys are going to do," Ezzar said, walking foward in a long green and white dress, and flowers in her long, green hair. "But I am going to mingle. "Oh, Nygari has a beautiful dress on." She waved to Anzar, Voltar and Xaphar and strode away.

"It's Star Fall," Gathaar said. "That's all about leaving things in the past."
Handeer nodded to show he approved with that statement. "But please behave during Star Fall," he added. "Everyone has to be able to get along today."

Tanter frowned at Seth. "Okay then. I stand corrected. Whatever you are, if Dausiin thinks you're good enough for Star Fall, then I won't question it. I do suggest you won't glare at Dausiin like that, we try to be honest with each other at Star fall." He glanced at Yalgai briefly. "Some manage to do so better than others."

10 days before the deadline. And that is not too late to start, it's perfectly possible to write a short story within a few days.
10 days before the deadline. But don't let this discourage you; 10 days is still plenty of time to draw something.
Mike listened to Duncan explaination about Memopaths as he followed him, feeling a knot in his stomach. That sounded dangerous, and unstoppable unless the agency would shoot to kill.
He was still processing what he had heard when they reunited with the others.

"What's going on here?" he asked as he joined Benjamin and Dante
"Oh, nothing much," Benjamin replied. "Mitch decided for us we're not going on any rescue mission and is now bonding with Lydral over a gun that eats organic material."
"Okay..." Mike sat down. There had been a moment in his life that would have been the weirdest thing he'd ever heard, but today he felt nothing could really surprise him anymore.

Mitch rose an eyebrow at Lydral's final comment. "Will that be before or after you've shown you're good enough to team up with me?" he asked. "If I go on this mission I don't want to be held back by anyone. You have yet to explain in what way a Nuric would be an asset to this mission and the only interesting gun you mentioned isn't even completed."

once they were on the right floor the assistant brought Rose to her new room and opened the door with a keycard. "In you go," she said as she gave a gentle push in the right direction.
The room had dark-green walls and a large, rectangular mirror on the opposite wall - a one-way window that would allow the scientists to observe. Inside was common furniture: a bed and a table with two chairs. On the right wall were some emtpy shelves, and the left wall had thick iron beams sticking out. The ceiling also had some iron beams mounted in the wall.
"I will get you some food," Eva promised and closed the door.

Meanwhile Lily had taken Steph to the elevator and soon they were on the fourth floor.
The room she had prepared for Steph was very red. Like Rose's room there was a large rectangluar mirror on the opposite wall, but it had a golden frame around it. The bed was made with red silk and red cushions were piled on top of it. Red cloth was decorated the ceiling and a thick burgundy carpet lay on the floor.

Ethan sat in the back of the car and listened to agents Morrison and Barrow talk about their mission. He glanced outside when he thought he heard Gaia's voice - a split second, nothing more. Worse than that. He would have dismissed at as his imagination, but it had happened before. When she was in that mental stage he had clearly picked up how she felt. And that terrible itch that had appeared and disappeared for no reason, which had been accompanied by a feeling in his head that was the same as when that device had made her wild.
Damn it, Gaia. Where-ever you are, I hope you are okay, he tought to himself.

The agent turned on his radio. "Boss, we have Daz."
"Daz is of little concern. Where is Harriet? Do you have a visual?"
The agent looked around. "No sir. But Daz is in a bad shape. He looks like he is dying."
"End his suffering then."

Open hearing the order, the agent aimed his rifle. "Sir," he said to Daz. "Right now you are an enemy of our organisation. If you surrender to us we can give you medical aid and you will fall under the Prisoner Protection clause of our organisation. If you will not then we will consider you a threat and take appropiate action."

"You can talk all you want," Benjamin said with bitterness in his voice. "They will just look at me like I'm crazy for talking back to you."
While he liked have Ari around, he hoped Ray would be there. She was a friend after all, and one he could actually talk with in public.
"I really appreciate you're hanging out with me," he said as he looked at Ari, again after making sure no-one was around to notice it - how he hated having to do that. "I'm not doing well mentally today, but it helps to have someone with me."

"As if I would let anyone hurt you," Andy said. "No, Varina, legendary Pokémon or not, they will have to go through me before they can get to you." He tapped the keystone as he looked around. "Would you like to go to Arceus to explain has happened? I think the big guy should hear about it first, if you agree."

Michael examined Hyia. Purple, younger sibling of Mew and Mewtwo. Mewthree? Had Arceus made a new one? "If you don't mind," Michael began politely with his eyes on Hyia. "What Pokémon are you? I understand you are related to Mew and Mewtwo."
From what he had seen, her being here had surprised Niccia and Gavin, so they probably hadn't known a third had been added to the Mew-line.

"Oh, right," Mindy said, followed by a "oh wow. That is amazing. Is that how Michael hears it. Like, I don't hear you in my language, but I still understand you. That is amazing."
"See it as being bilangual," Penalopy chimed. "I am too~"

Several others were coming through the gate now, Tanter recognized the Sword of Justice, who seemed to chat amonst each other as they entered the grounds of Star Fall. They were followed by Gathaar and Handeer; he glanced to Yalgai to see if she had noticed them too.
He joined Hyachu and listened to Seth's introduction.
"That sounds like Dausiin," he stated. "I'm Tanter. And if you wish to socialize with your own kind, we have Michael over there, that one is Andy and over there is Mindy. They are the other human guests we have today."

Benjamin didn't reply immediately. Instead, he closed his eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath. "I'm not looking forward to my first evaluation," he eventually said. "I haven't taken any medication since I got here, because I'm convinced I don't need it, but I will never be able to leave unless I start taking my medication. And I haven't been able to get outside since I got here, which is frustrating. I don't deal well with being inside all the time." He glanced around, making a hopeless gesture with his arms. "This place is like a prison."

Trevor grinned as Gnol talked to him and he nodded. "When we get to the fortress I'll make sure they swap his horse with something better," he promised.
With Duncan going after his scared horse and Gnol followed Duncan to aid him, Trevor enticed his horse to go a bit faster so he could ride alongside Noble. Keeping the new king safe was their first priority and while Duncan had taken that job, he was occupied now.

"They will catch up," he told Noble. "We won't stop and wait for them."

Linda almost squealed. "Aren't you adorable~" she said. "Young dragons are just the best!" she flew to Meria and the small blue dragon she was holding.
"And what about you?"
"We're going to try and find mommy," the young water dragon replied.
"And I'll stay with you until we do," Linda promised, before turning to Meria. "I hatched two sets of offspring already, and they all made it to full-size adults."

Not that full-sized adult fairy dragons were anywhere near impressive, but Meria smiled and nodded. "In that case I would very much appreciate your assistance with the little one," she said.
"The next meadow is good," she then said to Rai."

Fiona spread her wings and soared down to the treeline, flying just above the leaves. Once she noticed an opening she pulled her wings closer and dove underneath the canopy. The forest here was made for dragons; the trees were big and had wide canopies, leaving plenty of room between them for dragons to fly, although there were still a lot of sideway manoeuvres to be made.
