Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

4 days left and there is 1 entry now.
One week before the deadline. If you have something, time to finish it up and do an edit round. If you haven't started yet, time to procrastinate until the last day and then frantically finish an entry. Either way, I look forward to see some entries :)
The small woman smiled. "Welcome. My name is Chiyoko." She seemed out of place with the others women, looking completely human. She sipped from the water as she watched the young boy enter. Her eyebrows rose as she realized she hadn't seen any young males like that. But since it wasn't human, it wasn't an alluring target. None of these people were.
She turned back to Rose. "I've been here for a while, and it looks like they don't consider you and your friends dangerous, otherwise you'd be in cages."

Ethan stopped when he heard someone yell. A fight? Someone in trouble? "I'm going to check it out," he told the others.
The two agents shrugged and followed him; they weren't in a hurry and it didn't sound dangerous; more like some humans having an argument. Not something they had to get involved with, but if Ethan wanted to he could.

Ethan went in the direction he had heard the yelling come from and suddenly he saw Harriet, with black vomit in front of her? Whatever, he carefully approached her. "Hey, Harriet," he said. "What's up?
"It's the place they're most familiar with," Benjamin agreed when Sara suggested Ray's room.
If Sara had done so many different errands, people wouldn't find it suspicious if she'd claim to be on an errand for someone... that could be useful.
He stepped into the corridor and looked around before heading in the direction of Ray's room. He needed to visit Ray as well, he was worried about her. Rushing to her immediately wasn't smart and he hated how he had to think about all of his actions because of the watchful eyes of the staff.
Michael crouched down when he noticed the Pokémon hid behind his legs and put his arms around the shivering Pokémon. Lytse also joined them and put a paw on him. Usually he was the one needing comfort when he was scared, and he never thought he would be the one trying to comfort someone else.
"Why are you afraid?" Michael asked him.
When he noticed Niccia was pulled towards Arceus he almost got up, but a gesture from his uncle made him stop before even starting.

Andy watched it with his arms crossed; while he was worried about Niccia, this wasn't something Michael should come between. Glancing around he noticed almost every legendary Pokémon had their eyes on the scene. A few hadn't noticed, or deliberately didn't give it any attention. But two had an unusual fascination with the portal. Did they want to leave now that Arceus was angry?
"Merlin, we can spare you from this scene," he said while nodding towards the Pokémon backing away from the portal.
The Noctowl didn't need more information and spread his wings to check out what was going on there.

Gathaar and Handeer turned to Yalgai when she joined them and Gathaar nodded. "So it seems," he said and he narrowed his eyes. "What is going on between him and Niccia?"
While he noticed the Noctowl flying away, he didn't pay attention to it and kept his eyes on the situation between Arceus and Mew.

When Ra noticed the arm, he grabbed Luna's arm with his free hand and pulled her to the side, growling softly as he did. "Can you take Tarian too?" he asked Luna. "I'm going to change back into my Pokémon form."

Merlin, who didn't even need his keen eye to see it, noticed the black arm going through the portal, and by the way they legendary Pokémon were reacting he decided it was a bad thing.
Using his Echoed Voice in the air - he didn't want to hit anyone or anything with it - he alerted Andy and the others, who all turned to look at him.

"Go on," Andy said, and Benny and Bear both left to see what Merlin wanted to warn them about. Kim stayed by Andy's side, and after watching the two others leave, she turned her attention to what was going on between Niccia and Lecrero.

Benjamin soon followed suit and walked away. Find Ari and Dia first? Or go to Ray first? Ray was safe now, not in a good place, but he couldn't get her out even if he wanted to. Ari's fate was still uncertain.
"Let's see if we can find Ari and Dia," he suggested to Sara. "And after that I'll need your help to get close to Ray." He had a thoughtful frown on his head. "Has staff send you on errands for them in the past?"
Yes. Now that she yelled, Ethan will go to her.
I wanted to give your characters someone to interact with. So I made a demon lady, because Lily is really only interested in female demons. I still have to read into it a bit, but she's a nukekubi, a Japanese supernatural monster that can detach her head when she sleeps and drink the blood of her victim.
After Lily left she went to a nearby control room, with screens that showed what the creatures were up to. She was informed about what the others had seen in the time it had taken for her to leave them and come here, but her eyes were glued to the screen that showed the common room. What were Gaia and Steph doing? A hint of annoyance crept over her face. If Gaia was feeding Steph, that was not good. She decided to let them do what they wanted for now, but it wasn't fair. She let out a sigh, sometimes it was easier to put them in a cage.

Someone tried to give her an update about how the siren boy was doing, but she brushed him off. One of the other scientists, one who cared about siren boys, could handle that one.

She noticed some movement in the camera and smiled. Ah, another of her darlings entered the room.

A small woman entered the common area; dressed in a pink kimono and her black hair in a knot on the back of her head. She eyed the others for a moment, and then walked sereenly to the water tap to drink some water. Not wanting to disturb whatever the two winged girls were doing, she walked to the spider woman instead.
"You're new here, aren't you?" she asked, her voice having an accent that showed English wasn't her native language.

The camera revealed something that looked like an animal, a dog or something. Ethan shrugged and handed the camera back to Morrison. Dogs were common in the city.

"Here's the deal," agent Morrison said as he turned to Ethan. "The old base is evacuated; the boss said it is compromised."
"You mean that if Gaia can break out she'll come back for revenge and the boss is afraid of her."
To Ethan's surprise, agent Morrison chuckled. "Probably so," he admitted. "I wasn't told the finer details, but it's likely those demons will want revenge." He nodded to his collegue agent Barrow. "We'll bring you there; we'll take a break and then hunt more vampires. The night is still young."

Despite the injustive that happened to Gaia, the idea of hunting more vampires appealed to him, so Ethan nodded and followed the older agents. He kept an eye on the area around them, he still couldn't shake the feeling they were being watched, but all he had seen around was that dog.
To everyone registered, or those stumbling across this contest for the first time: there are two weeks remaining to finish your work.
If you haven't begun yet, don't worry; there's still enough time to write something.
