No it wasn't. I should have a post up in the next few days.
@Omega Man
I had seen that you might need another player. I would totally be down for being that player. Character wise I've got three different ideas in mind as to who I want to play. Perhaps you, or others, could help me decide.

1) First is an idea that I’ve had for a while but never used. Son of a scientist who was studying a Green Lantern Power Ring for the government. After his father’s mysterious disappearance, this character is taken in by a LexCorp think tank for young geniuses. This character excels there, becoming personally trusted by Lex Luthor. Lex then acquires a prototype ring created by this character’s father in an attempt to reverse engineer the Green Lantern ring. This character would begin working with the ring, syncing it up to his mind with a neural implant. He would continue to work for Lex Luthor until it was publicly revealed that he was a villain. This character would then flee LexCorp, not trusting anyone with the ring. He would eventually be approached by Cyborg who offered to train him with the ring.

The powers this prototype ring has are shooting blasts, flight, and creating a protective energy layer over this character’s body. The ring can also connect to the Internet and other computer servers, this character being able to hack things with his mind.

2) Next is a character inspired by that Justice Society game Omega Man had tried to get off the ground. This character was a Private in the American Army during WWII. While fighting the Nazis in France he came across a strange talisman in a castle Nazi soldiers had barricaded themselves in. Deciding to loot the artifact, this character found it bonding to him. He now had the ability to transform into three different monster forms. These new powers were quickly noticed by his superiors, who referred him to the Justice Society. This character would be a junior member of the Justice Society for the rest of the war. That was until a fateful mission to stop a Nazi portal technology. In the middle of the fight, this character would be sucked into the portal.

He would then find himself in modern day, the portal now stored in a Checkmate warehouse. Checkmate would interrogate him, but once they confirmed who he was, they let him go. Unsure of what to do in this modern day, this character is offered a position at the Titans Academy.

This character’s powers come from a mysterious talisman that bonded itself to him. He can switch between his natural human, a winged gargoyle form, a spiked quill form, and a purple rubber like person form. It would eventually be revealed that this talisman wasn’t magical in nature, rather it was old alien tech loaded with the DNA of three extinct species of aliens.

3) The final character is based on one I’ve played before, if briefly. Hailing from an alternate universe, specifically Earth-3, this character was experimented on by the corrupt STAR Labs. Activating an inert meta-gene, this character develops powers. Being a success, he is sold off to be a meta-soldier in the Markovian Army. He does so for a while before being rescued by Alexander Luthor Jr and his Legion of Justice. Newly freed, this character joins the Legion in fighting the evil Crime Syndicate.

This character would fight the Syndicate for a while, losing many comrades. The Legion would then learn of the Crime Syndicate’s plans to invade other universes. In a desperate attempt to stop this invasion, the Legion of Justice attacks the Syndicate HQ. In the end, this character steals the multi-verse hopping vehicle, piloting it out of his home dimension. He would then crash the ship into the Metropolis harbor of Earth-1 (or whatever universe this takes place in). He would encounter Superman, briefly believing him to be the evil Ultraman of his own dimension. Now stuck on Earth-1, Superman refers this character to the Titans Academy.

This character’s powers are from him being a meta-human. He can generate red crystals as projectiles or to create a strong barrier between himself and his enemies. Also, as he is from Earth-3, where character alignments are reversed, it would stand to reason that there is an evil version of this character native to Earth-1.

Once I decide on a character, I'll create a sheet and send it to you.

EDIT: Also the discord link in the first OOC post doesn't work.
I'll look into Titans Academy. But I do hope that this RP gets off the ground. I've always been interested in WWII era supers and how they evolve over the years.

So I’m a few days late of the start of the challenge, but is anyone else participating in National Novel Writing Month (or Nanowrimo) 2022? This will be my second year participating, though it’s the first time I’m going in with a solid plan for the novel. Perhaps you can share your experiences with Nanowrimo or what your novel (or whatever else you are writing) is about.

My currently untitled novel is a young adult book set amidst an urban fantasy. However, instead of being populated with the standard elves or demons, my story re-imagines various creatures from Cryptozoology.
If we are allowed a second ship, I would like to do the Starjammer from Marvel Comics. Plus if we do have the Enterprise-D in this RP we could have Marvel characters mixing up Captain Picard with Professor X.
Alright, I wrote up a sheet for the Ark. Continuity wise I'm mixing together different iterations of Transformers Generation 1 (Transformers has a really convoluted canon that can be hard to manage so I'm attempting to streamline it.) Let me know if anything needs changing.

Daichi’s eyes were strained as he went over the same chapter of the textbook for the umpteenth time. While he knew in his rationale mind that he knew this material already, his emotional mind was shouting that he would forget all of these facts. The fear of not getting into the best university weighed heavily on Daichi. The amount of pressure he placed upon himself was starting to affect him physically.

Daichi’s stomach was in knots from the stress, but that was quickly replaced by an overwhelming tiredness. This study session had gone on several hours longer than Daichi had planned. Anxiety was the only thing keeping him awake, but that feeling couldn’t prevail forever.

As Daichi stared at the textbook, his vision blurred. His head then began to bob, Daichi having a hard time fighting the heaviness of his head. Before Daichi was even consciously aware of what was happening, he went headfirst into the textbook, darkness overtaking him as he entered a much needed state of sleep.

After a dreamless sleep, Daichi’s eyes fluttered open. As Daichi once again entered consciousness, he was aware that his body wasn’t in pain or tired like most times he wakes up. In fact it seemed that he had a very restful sleep.

It was as Daichi was enjoying the rested feeling in his body, did he notice he wasn’t in his room. In fact he wasn’t in any room. Instead he was laying on the ground amid dirt and grass. Jolting his upper body up, Daichi surveyed his immediate surroundings.

There were a few other people near him, also in various states of waking up. There was a girl in a blue and red windbreaker who started walking toward something. As Daichi’s gaze shifted, he saw that she was headed for two small creatures.

Daichi wasn’t sure if creatures was the right word. Maybe monsters? Either way Daichi believed that he was just having a weird dream. At least this dream was better than the one where he amounts to nothing in life and ends up homeless.

But if this was a dream, it would’ve been the most lifelike dream Daichi had ever had. Usually his dreams had a hazy feel to them, with just rough scenes and flashes of images. But Daichi’s vision was clear, with everything in focus. This could of been any forest that Daichi had walked through, save the two pink creatures.

Daichi then decided to get up, rising to his feet. This surprised Daichi as he had never been able to make a conscious decision in a dream. Of course he had heard of lucid dreaming, but for some reason Daichi’s intuition told him he wasn’t lucid dreaming.

Daichi’s musings on dreams were interrupted by someone shouting, asking what the hell is going on. Daichi opened his mouth to answer, only to realize that he had no answer. Something strange and unknown was going on, and Daichi hated that he had no relevant knowledge for the situation.

A decent ways away from Daichi another boy awakened. The red headed boy then began to shout many questions, but Daichi didn’t really take them in, figuring he would be of no use. Daichi’s anxiety began to peak.

This wasn’t helped by the sound of movement in a nearby bush. Daichi then immediately wondered what other strange things existed wherever here was. Maybe those two pink fairy looking things were food for a massive predator.

But then Daichi remembered that he should never assume anything without the facts to back it up. However, he was still at ease, so he grabbed a large stick off the forest floor. Daichi was ready to swing it to protect himself, only for a two foot tall worm thing to come out of the bushes.

Daichi didn’t end up swinging the stick, instead analyzing the creature. It seemed to be an over-sized worm. It didn’t look scary, but more cute like to Daichi.

The worm then opened its mouth and spoke, “You’re a human?”

Daichi was immediately thrown off that the creature could speak. This happening gave some more credence to the theory that this was a dream. But something nagged at the back of Daichi’s mind, making him believe that what he was seeing was the truth.

“I’m human yes,” Daichi replied, “My name’s Daichi.”

“Well Daichi,” the worm replied with the closest thing she could make like a smile on her face, “I’m DoKunemon. And you are now my servant.”

This statement threw Daichi back. A servant to a bug monster with a strange name. If he didn’t know better he would think he was in an isekai anime. The few creatures that he had spotted could’ve been out of an anime, but they seemed way too lifelike for that. It was perplexing Daichi, a feeling he hated.

Calvin knew better than to mix alcohol with his medication, but tonight he decided to say screw it. Even if he did have a bad reaction to the mix, there were at least a dozen mutants with healing powers currently on the island.

Calvin was still getting used to Krakoa. While he had been all over the world, Krakoa was still one of the most beautiful places he had ever seen. The natural splendor of the island was currently accentuated even more by the vast decorations and festivities of the opening event.

Calvin had spent the good part of the night wandering around the island, taking in the different themes. He had passed through meadows bathed in purple, housing with bright red luminescent trees, and now the green glow of the Green Lagoon.

It was while walking through the Green Lagoon, that Calvin spotted the large bar at the centre of the area. Given the influx of new residents and guests for this event, there were multiple bartenders manning different corners of the bar.

Calvin immediately recognized Gambit working one area, as well as the Blob on the opposite end. Quickly deciding between the two, Calvin chose to get a drink from the Blob. The decision came down to who he had more baggage with, and since Calvin spent a much longer time as an X-Man than with the Brotherhood, he chose the Blob.

“Hey Fred,” said Calvin as he approached the over-sized bartender, “Long time no see.”

The giant mutant turned to Calvin, “Mimic, how you doing? Last I heard you were with the Thunderbolts.”

“Oh, that’s really old news,” replied Calvin, “I was an X-Man for a while. But now I’m just a man. I’m not jumping back into any team.”

“Makes sense,” Blob nodded his head, “So can I get you something to drink?”

“Yeah, I could go for something festive, to honor all of this,” stated Calvin, “But make sure it’s strong.”

The Blob chuckled before preparing a bright pink drink with a paper umbrella in it. By now Calvin had already decided that he was drinking this evening, as he felt a strong drink could do more for his nerves than his prescribed medication. While this was probably not the smartest decision, Calvin’s mind couldn’t help but turn towards it’s manic side.

Taking his drink and thanking the Blob, Calvin left the bar and wandered around the Green Lagoon. Taking a sip of his drink, Calvin found it sweet with tropical fruits, but also a really strong rum. The drink caused a little bit of a rush to Calvin’s head, causing him to decide to perhaps limit himself to just this one drink. But then he thought maybe something weaker like a light beer wouldn’t hurt.

By the time Calvin was halfway through his drink, he had spotted Magneto and Emma Frost. They seemed to be deep in conversation with two young boys. Calvin didn’t recognize the youths, but then again he wasn’t always caught up with the new students at the Institute. That was of course back when there was an institute.

But Calvin was curious to see what the two former enemies of the X-Men had to say. It was only a few years ago that Calvin himself had battled the Brotherhood and the Hellfire Club. But he did know that Krakoa was supposed to be a clean slate, a home for all mutants. Hell, they even let Apocalypse in.

This all made Calvin interested in what they had to say. Calling upon the heightened senses that came with him copying Wolverine’s powers, Calvin focused in on the talk happening between the boys and the former villains. Only to hear Emma Frost confirm that they are the sons of Scarlet Witch.

Calvin quickly realized how big a piece of gossip that reveal was. The Scarlet Witch was one of the strongest mutants in existence, having almost wiped out the entire mutant race due to mental illness. Luckily for Calvin, he had retained his powers after M-Day, but many of his friends were not so lucky.

But if these boys were really Scarlet Witch’s children, that meant that they could be incredibly powerful and as much of a threat as their mother. That prospect worried Calvin.

Deciding to monitor the situation, Calvin took a seat at the bar just far enough away from them as to still be able to hear them. Calvin then tried to look like he was focusing on his drink and the fireworks, all the while his actual attention was focused on Magneto and Emma Frost’s conversation.
