Computer is broke AGAIN. Dog jumped on me when I had a glass of water in my hand, but some of it leaked in. Posts are going to be slow for the next week.
@AmpharosBoy Accepted, but one thing to note, this Xehanort isn't a moustache twirling villain like he is in DDD and BBS. This one is... Well, it's complicated, but just know that he legitimately has the best intentions for every Key-Bearer. So, he's not going to be trying to convince you to give into the darkness.
A white portal opened and Kalak, in his armour, dropped through, into the center of the station. He looked at the piece of paper again "Meet me at Game Central Station. A matter of utmost importance - X". Looking around, he could see the vast amount of colourful characters walking around the station. He was quickly approached by a glowing blue man "Papers and ident, please." The man sighed as he approached.
"Umm... Excuse me, but i don't have..." He frisked himself. The Surge-Protector stared at him with an ever raising eyebrow. "Well, i'm sure that..." The Surge protector sighed, before 4 posts appeared around Kalak, with tape labelled "Un-authorized Program."
"Stay where you are, sir." The Surge Protector said, before walking away. Kalak looked at the tape and noticed that it was holographic. He took a cautious step through it, before smiling.
"Not so hard..." He laughed. He then saw several others enter through white portals, elsewhere in the station. Before finally, a portal opened and a man in Strange Armour fell through and rolled over a few times, before trying to struggle to his feet, but fell flat on the ground. Kalak ran over to him, throwing his helmet to the side and pulled the man over and threw his helmet off to reveal the distinctive face of Xehanort the Wise. Xehanort coughed up a little blood, before gasping for air. "Master Xehanort... What happened?" He asked. Xehanort looked at him, before leaning up by himself.
"That is of no concern to you, young one." He coughed in his raspy, yet soft tone. "In our lives, we have many crosses to bare, this is one of mine..." He coughed up a little more blood as he struggled to his feet, using Kalaks shoulder as a crutch, before dusting himself off. "One does not live as long as I and... Do the things I do without making some enemies along the way. I pray they do not become your enemies." At that point, the Surge Protector popped back up.
"Papers and ident, ple-" he began, before spotting Kalak. "Hey, what are you doing outside of your Quarentine Zone?" He growled.
"Do not worry yourself. I have his papers here." He said, handing a few pieces of paper to the Surge Protector. The man looked through them for a second.
"Seems to be in order, I'll direct your attache's to you upon their arrival." He said, before looking over at one of the plugs. "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU, QUBERT!!! He roared, before disappearing.
@Vega7285 Well, we do have an OOC, but if you really want to discuss it, i recommend joining the Discord Server, as that's where the bulk of discussion is going on.
Name: Kalak Ulanti Age: 19 Gender: Male Race:Selkie Homeworld: Crystal Chronicles World Key-Weapon: Key-Halberd called "To Infinity and Beyond" Magics: Blizzard Fire Ice-Breath Fire-Breath Strike Reid D-Links:Warp Darkmatter Job: Dragoon Appearance: Kalak is a Selkie with long, blue hair and an effeminate face, he is often mistaken for a girl. He wears what looks like animal pelts that show a lot of his skin. Over these pelts are a series of patchwork leather armour, complete with a small pair of metal, dragon-like wings poking out of the back of the shoulders. He also has a similar pair on a circlet that he wears on his head, as well as a pair on the heels of his plate boots. Brief History: Kalak was born as the son of the Fisherman of his village and trained with a spear with his father, learning how to catch fish, but also learning the art of combat with a spear from the local Lilty Blacksmith. When he was 18, he was allowed to join the Crystal Caravan as it went to gather the Magical Dew in order to keep the crystal of the village glowing and keeping the terrible Miasma and monsters out. He travelled across the world with the caravan, seeing all sorts of sights, both beautiful and horrifying, all breathtaking in one way or another. At the end of the year, when the Caravan returned to the village with the Crucible full of dew and ready to revitalize the towns Crystal. As he got ready to go to the ceremony, he was distracted by a small, cute, black creature with glowing yellow eyes. Following it, he discovered a strange black swirling portal, before he knew it, another of these things jumped on his back and he lost his balance, falling through the portal and into the void.
Like being cast into a great, black sea. Looking around, he could see the sky full of stars and, soon, felt the pull of his heart toward something. That's when more of the cute creatures began to surround him and, before his eyes, his spear seemed to appear in his hands, before, around him, the visage of someone appeared around him. A Man with blue skin and wearing bright white and green armour. The man raised his wrist and a red beam lanced out, destroying one of the creatures. "Hey kid, if you want to survive, don't let these things get your heart. The name's Warp Darkmatter. Find me." Before his eyes, his spear seemed to lengthen into a halberd, with what seemed like a bright blue pair of wings as the axe-head and what looked like a Key-head on the other side, as well as a red and white stripe pattern running down the shaft of the weapon. Swinging the halberd at the creatures, one of them burst into a black puff of smoke and a bright, pink heart began floating upwards towards the sky. After running for what seemed like hours and managing to give them the slip, he managed to make his way to a strange portal, which took him to a strange world where he met a strange man by the name of Oko, who claimed to be a Heartless Hunter. Oko took Kalak under his wing to teach him about how to Kill Heartless, with them sailing between worlds on his immense Gummi-Ship. During their time working together, they constantly came under attack from a young, highly antagonistic Nobody by the name of Perthe.
After a few adventures, Kalak finally met the man known as Xehanort, who told him exactly what he was and explained to him about the man that he had met at the beginning of his journey, that he was linked with the man by destiny. He also showed him how to use his Keyblade Glider, as well as summon his armour. He then told Kalak to meet him at the place known as Game Central Station, as he needed to gather a few Key-Bearers to help him perform a mission. Other:
Eggman looked at Caldwell with a look of confusion. He was offering the man an advanced robotic battle-suit and all the man seemed interested in was the shielding. He rubbed his eyes before throwing his hands up in admittance of defeat on this. "I'll have Oglivie bring it over for you to look at, but i am warning you that the shielding on this thing isn't the best example of my work. I had to retrofit the energy shielding into this. I never designed it with that in mind. It's main defenses is the heavy armour, where i come from, the main problem i found was... Kinetic attacks..." He grumbled as he remembered that damned Spin-Attack of Sonics. "Also, you'd need facilities to create Elemental Gel of your own." He said. "I can also provide samples of the gel if you're interested."
Egg Carrier
tried to console him. "Again, he is a political refugee that we offered asylum to, that Egg is a queen of his species that he was born to protect. I mean, if you were born with only 1 purpose in life, i can imagine that i would be doing much of the same." She said. They finally made it to the large machine with the pipes leading into it. Thunderbolt quickly tapped on the computer panel, quickly checking pressure for all of the pipes.
"So, maybe once you've completed your scans here, you'd like to take a look at some of the fun things." Thunderbolt laughed. "Shields are all nice and good, but doesn't have the same luster as a giant robot.
"I know now, without a doubt. Kingdom Hearts... is light!"
At the beginning of time, there was nothing but darkness... Then, the first heart came to be. That heart shone so brightly that it almost completely wiped out the darkness. The first heart shone completely alone, however. The First Heart, wanting to not be alone anymore, split itself into millions of millions of smaller hearts, each heart becoming a world of its own and begatting other hearts. The remnants of the First Heart became known as Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts would shine down on the many worlds and people would bask in its glory. It gave passageways to travel between the worlds and those who travelled along it were given keys to open the doors along the way. But with it's diminished size, Kingdom Hearts could not shine everywhere at once, as the First Heart had, and so, the darkness came back. As the darkness crept into the hearts of people, they became jealous of Kingdom Hearts' power and sought it for themselves.
A war broke out between those with Keys, those who wanted to serve Kingdom Hearts as loyal protectors and those who wished to take the power of Kingdom Hearts for themselves. It is said that, in the end, Kingdom Hearts destroyed all sides, deeming itself a prize that would not be won by anyone. Then, Kingdom Hearts sealed the doors between the worlds, knowing that the worlds were now better off without knowledge of it.
However, Kingdom Hearts was not able to change the fact that, as soon as you found the roads, you were granted a key. Hearts flock together and seek to find meaning in meaninglessness. So, when people fell through a crack in their world and onto one of the roads, their heart would latch onto the first they would find and create a Key for the wielder. Naturally, there are very few with such an honour. However, with Kingdom Hearts not being able to shine everywhere at once, the Heartless began to make themselves known. An unstoppable force of destruction that plunge worlds into darkness and consumes it, now that the First Heart cannot stop them everywhere. Kingdom Hearts decided to bestow upon those who wielded the Keys, the power to destroy the heartless and release the hearts that they have consumed. Key-Bearers, as they are called, now find their duty is to travel to the many different worlds and destroy the Heartless wherever they can find it.
Every Key-Bearer knows of Xehanort the Wise, the oldest living Key-Bearer. Some say that he was the sole survivor of the War, others just say that he is the strongest and wisest man to ever pick up a Key. What is known is that most every master of keys was trained by him at some point.
So, i've done a little work on how the 3 main enemy types work:
Heartless: Nobody knows exactly how the Heartless came into being, but ever since they did, they have been attacking people. They don't kill them, they simply suck their heart out, turning that drained heart into a Heartless and leave them as an empty shell. Heartless are creatures of pure instinct, mindlessly attacking everything with a heart. When they extract a heart, an immense amount of energy is unleashed, with the Heartless absorbing it. The more they extract, the more powerful they become. They seem to infect worlds like a virus, travelling in the same cracks between worlds as Key-Warriors. Nobodies: After someone has had their heart drained, their physical body will slowly break down. If their will wasn't strong enough to keep themselves together, then they degrade into an amorphous form. These creatures are actually rather passive towards most people, only attacking when they feel threatened, but quite the opposite is true when they meet Heartless. The Amorphous Nobodies will relentlessly attack Heartless wherever they find them, in an attempt to retake their heart. If the will of the person who's heart was stolen is strong enough, then they may retain themselves, physical changes can happen and they will lose all of their memories of their life before their heart was stolen. Without a Heart, however, they are no longer tied to their world, allowing the vast powers of the universe to flow into them freely. A Nobody like this can be an immensely dangerous creature. Unversed: Although not technically related to the Heartless and Nobodies, their abilities are notably similar. The Unversed are created by the emotions from someones heart. If their heart is thrown into complete and total chaos, so utterly broken that they can no longer function, the Unversed spill from their hearts. The Unversed are creatures of purest chaos, wild emotions made manifest. They will attack everything around them, much like the heartless, but they will not try to extract hearts, instead opting to simply try and kill those around them, however they will follow the orders of whoever summoned them. Hearts that create Unversed are immensely powerful, meaning that Heartless are drawn to them. Whenever you encounter Unversed, it's not unusual to see the Unversed and Heartless fighting each other. Dreameaters: Very few people know that their dreams actually manifest themselves as creatures. Primarily, because these dreams are absorbed by the heart of the world and are used to keep it strong and in balance. When a world's heart is consumed by the Heartless, the Dreams have no-where to go and, in the time between the Heart of the World being consumed and the last beings on the world being hunted down and consumed by the Heartless, the Dreams of those people will manifest into the Space Between. These creatures, known as Dreameaters are separated into 2 different varieties: Spirits: Spirits are friendly, soft, lovable creatures made from the happiest dreams of people. They are drawn to those with the purest hearts and are loyal and fierce protectors. Usually bight and colourful in colour, their power can easily rival the Heartless. Nightmares: Created by the most bone-chilling nightmares to haunt the minds of good people, they are also drawn to those with the purest hearts, however Nightmares seek to destroy everything around them and are constantly seen clashing with Spirits. Unlike Spirits or Unversed, Nightmares cannot be controlled. That being said, they are notable for their extreme hatred for the Heartless that created them in the first place. They are usually very dark in their colour pallet.

Kingdom Hearts has always annoyed me with how it's supposed to be a Final Fantasy/Disney crossover, yet the actual Final Fantasy stuff is mostly relegated to a few cameo's and kinda pointless/boring supporting characters, whilst the Disney stuff is mostly completely inconsequential to the story at large. It's its own original story that is chock full of all of the stuff that makes me hate modern Final Fantasy stuff. I want to love the franchise as a whole, i really do, but the only thing about it that keeps me interested is the stuff that is completely inconsequential to the story, and the things that i hate about it ((Mostly Orginization XIII and almost everything to do with them)) are the actual driving force of the plot. It wasn't so bad in the first game, because it was "All your favourite Disney villains have been gathered to help take over the world under a mysterious Final Fantasy-like, yet completely original villain." and, quite frankly, that is what i think they really should have stuck with.
Ok, so, rant over, i don't have an entire idea for what this will be about YET, but here's the idea so far:
*Keeping the "Multiple Worlds" idea, where every Final Fantasy game and Disney movie are separated into their own completely self contained world. (Yes, this will include Marvel and Star Wars, since Disney owns them and made an entire Wreck-It-Ralph movie about reminding you of this fact.) *There are powerful forces that can strip you of your heart (It's your soul, but the game insists on calling it your Heart.) If this happens, then your consciousness creates a Heartless that will instinctively run around trying to find your heart, or replace it with someone elses, and your mortal remains become a Nobody. *Each player takes control of a Key Warrior, each Key Warrior has a Key Weapon, not necessarily a sword. Your Key weapon can be anything, but it is key themed. This Key weapon is designed to open and close specific doors around the multiverse in order to allow certain entities to travel and to prevent others. *Everyone starts off with a Destiny Link or "D-Link" with a canon Disney/Final Fantasy character of their choice. Your Key-Weapon will be usually be assosiated with this D-Linked individual. E.G. If you choose Merida from Brave, then you get a Key-Bow. If you choose Han Solo, you get a Key-Pistol. If you choose Freya from Final Fantasy IX, then you get a Key-Spear. If you choose Captain America, then you get a Key-Shield. *Your character can come from pretty much any world from these two behemoth franchises. Maybe you are a Bangaa Warrior from Ivalice, or a high prince suitor from Agrabah, a Moogle from World of Balance, or a Tangean from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command? *Your character's D-Link doesn't have to be with a character from their own world. People accidentally stumble through the cracks in the universe all the time, when they do, their heart will find another to latch onto to act as sort of a lighthouse to guide you. This is when your Key-weapon is forged and you have, unwittingly, become a Key-Warrior. I should also note that, because the person you are D-Linked to isn't aware of the link, you can link with a villain if you so choose, without having to play an evil character. *Different Worlds will have differences from their canon counterparts, with invasions from other worlds. E.G. One episode finds you in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, however, instead of Davey Jones and his Kraken to worry about, the terror of the high seas is Captain Hook and his pet monstrosity, Sin from FFX, building their army of Heartless.
