Still here. Still interested. I even have a few plans. It's just that some RL stuff cropped up out of nowhere and I had to scramble to deal with it. I'm working on all my RPs as soon as I get free time :)
Alright
Unrelenting Jukebox

Jukebox was having a bad time. As he was about to apologise to Nyx for setting off his itchy trigger finger the lovely glitch ghost started doing what he should have expected. It glitched. It moved without it’s animation cycle, artefacts crackled over the girl’s avatar image and the oddest thing to him was that she somehow impacted his inbuilt avatar ability, his music player. It disappeared before coming back with a somber tune that sent chills down Jukebox’s spine as a red eyed hooded man, the apparent cause of this scenario appeared on the scene which made Jukebox make a leap of logic... is this girl even an Avatar? She looked too... real to be that. Then the world fell apart.

The environment’s clipped through player bodies doing no more harm that a chilling breeze made of ones and zeroes as he saw his own music player glitch into his chest and screeching shrieks blaring out of it, vague words audible beneath the terrifying noise. Then as his vision faded to the scene of an old analogue television set to a dead channel... he was ejected from the game

Alex

Alex shot up straight out of bed like a cartoon character... the sound and voice still scraping around in his head, as if someone had scratched those words into his brain tissue.

"1722 Wallan Street. 529"

Burying his face in his hands, Jukebox... no, Alex stood up and went to the bathroom. The sudden jarring disconnect had momentarily confused him. Leaning over the sink Alex felt as if he would be sick. Deciding he needed a walk, Alex grabbed his music player and a jacket and walked out into the crisp air. Typing as he walked he messaged Bel, hoping that she had some insight as to what the fuck the deal with that was, but not holding his breath. His feet unconsciously leading him towards the address that was screeched at him as he was disconnected, Alex sent the message to Bel.

Hey Bel

I just saw a weird ghost glitch of a girl that glitched and messed with everything, even my avatar ability, making it screech "1722 Wallan Street. 529" at me.

Any idea what the deal with that is? I wanna keep you in the loop because... well you’re less likely to blow me off than Verdant :)

Cheers,
Alex

Tori

Watching Alex walk off, Tori didn’t really care. She wasn’t good at holding conversation and talking to him had exhausted her mentally. The whole reason she hid herself away in the library was to avoid people, but her desire regarding Arcadia continued to thwart those efforts. As she looked over the white sea of clouds the shrieking sound of metal on metal as alarms blared announced the presence of some metallic beast battered itself against the airship. Contrary to the crew, Tori was as calm as ever. This was largely due to her Tome, but she dared not be arrogant, she was always wary of her Tome possibly failing, but she did dread that day.

As she was lost in thought, the twins actions shocked Tori from her day dreaming state as the paradoxically ancient and modern creature assaulted the ship again, windows shattering and Tori tumbling out into the open air, given her a clear look as the beast was assaulted by the twins combined power of bees and water... it sounded rather odd to Tori when it was called like that.

Her tome in the form of her white cloak billowing out, split gently along her back and splayed into the shape of wings. With the intent of moving Tori flapped through the air and had herself vanish from view, landing on the roof of the besieged airship unseen.

How the hell do I deal with this? I suppose the safest option is to get out of the skies and to one of Arcadia’s landmasses and hide from this beast that way. We are in its domain and need to escape it or we are falling shrapnel Wings folding away, Tori became visible once more and had herself turn intangible to fall through the floor before and dashing to the cockpit. Running through every wall in her way she made good time and burst through the wall to the shock of the crew.

“Captain? Helmsman? Whatever your role is, we need to land. Now. I don’t intend to die here today and if we’re on one of Arcadia’s islands we have some chance of not being giant metal predator food. So please, be a hero and save us all from a midair death and put us down?”

Carver Jazz

The drive to the middle school was... awkward. Eerily quiet, Carver wanted to turn on the radio or something, but after looking at Sherridan and Isotta, but thankfully it ended quickly. As soon as they arrived at the school, Carver climbed out and breathed in the cool night air, relieved to be out of the awkward atmosphere.

“Sure, lead the way” leaning back, a crack sound was heard as Carver stretched himself out, while admiring the bright orange graffiti. Trash? Super Trash? Garbage? Is this somehow pollution related? Is there an ozone, junk creature I don’t know about? soon Carver heard the tell tale sound of a spray can and naturally assumed the culprit was nearby. Cautiously walking forward behind the pair, Carver rounded a corner and saw a blonde girl. Clearing his throat he tried the negotiation way, bullets and talismans cost money after all.

“Hi there. Nice night isn’t it? I’ve seen your artistic handy work and I have to say I’m impressed.” pausing for a moment Carver couldn’t help but ask “So out of curiosity... is it the paint that causes the disease effect? Or is it the image? Oh! Or is it the intent behind it? It's been years since I've seen cursed art~!”

I'll have something up today
No surprise. But I'm here too

Thanks. Ghostbusters just felt perfect. And ruined the serious mood in such a beautiful way :3
Unrelenting Jukebox

The dungeon was fun. Usually he was a tag along for the power levelling of the lower level players. Disdain was common, but this? He was enjoying himself with this group. Ghost Rider was amusing, Eclipse knew what she was doing and wasn’t all that mocking about it and Nies made sure no one died on the mission! Sure they weren’t the A-Team, but they were never under any threat in this dungeon.

Arriving in the first generator room, Jukebox was rather looking forward to progress this dungeon. “So do we just shoot the thi-” suddenly a grating sound echoed, it was rather similar to a corrupted sound file, screeching vague words, before mellowing out into a melody and forming into a rather ghostly image of a person.

Did we fulfil the requirements for a hidden quest? It screeched... save me? Was it save me? doubting his conclusion, Jukebox cautiously edged closer to the ghost lady. “Umm... Skeletor...? Nyx...? are you friends with this ghost?” then Soundtrack of Life being the tactful thing it was blared out at that precise moment

“Sorry! Sorry, no control over this! Wish I did. Wish I had a better ability... So what should we do with this ghost in the machine? How do we help? If this is a quest, brilliant, EXP ahoy. If this is... somehow real, then aren’t we obligated to help? Or at least contact a DGO admin?” a bit unsure about what to do, Jukebox looked at everyone else before staring at the ghost before seeing Eclipse going to touch her, leaping forward he grabbed Eclipse's hand and stopped her.

"Are you crazy?! You could hurt either her or yourself. If she's as glitchy as she looks, for all we know she could... cause feedback and make vegetables of us! No offence Miss Ghost. I know you wouldn't do something like that, but accidents happen. And I believe in safety first... also if I was a ghost I wouldn't want people poking around in me." letting go of Eclipse, Jukebox forced a nervous smile with Ghostbusters still blaring in the background somewhat sapping the gravity of the situation
