<Snipped quote by Memory>

*A couple of me begin heading into the corridors while another me just stares blankly at what looks like it tried to be a door but it is just half a door in half an indentation in the wall, that is more like painted on the wall rather than it being a door*

Such... senseless architecture...

It feels like it was generated by a rudimentary computer, or someone who just saw pictures of this sort of construction.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

I don't know, i would like to say yes, but then what guarantee is it that its not more than sapient? Or less for that matter?... It certainly acts sapient at times...

<Snipped quote by Memory>

Yeah, there are quite a lot of dilapidated structures throughout the universe but none that can potentially spread infinitely in all directions... Shall we head in then?

I suppose so...
*Heads into the rift, pre-preparing several defense spells*
<Snipped quote by RoadkilBanana>

Yeah... welcome to your first freelancer mission i guess... That thing is an apparition of the worst of monsters creation has had to deal with, it seems, since time immemorial.

<Snipped quote by Memory>

*I blink perplexed as my clones enter the rift* Were those residences aiming at eating your very being?

Well, no, but I’m speaking in terms of appearances.

<Snipped quote by Memory>

@RoadkilBanana

*I thrust my sword in the ground and lean on its handle thoughtfully as i look at the rift*

If i enter there, there's a very real chance the place will detect my power again and try and collapse on all of us posing a risk even to the entrapped souls there...

It really is sapient, huh?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

I don't think that is the best strategy, we should aim at exterminating them as we come across them regardless, but we could, though i highly doubt they'd stay trapped there... regardless of what we pull, our essence, even our very magic essence, is entirely different to anything that belongs to Outer C'thon or adjacent, they'd smell the artificiality from a mile away.

I see... perhaps replicating that essence is beyond our capabilities.

<Snipped quote by Memory>

Look... feel free to get yourself some real estate there and build a home if you think its cool. I for one, no thank you.

*Proceeds to create a group of 10 clones that approach the rift*

<Snipped quote by Memory>

*I chuckle at the statement* If by cozy you mean, half formed hotel looking hallway...

I’ve stayed in eerier residences. At least the carpet looks clean.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Makes sense! It'll certainly come in usefu-- *I get interrupted as the rift successfully opens up revealing a sinister white hallway* Well that went smooth...

*I visibly twitch an eye at seeing what's beyond the threshold* Does it HAVE to be this eerie?

It looks sort of cozy, honestly.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

*Looks intently upon the symbols and grins* Ah! Those dimensional spells! I thought they piqued your interest back in class

I think my experience traversing dimensions has made that kind more intuitive for me.
*Smiles*
Either that or I got lucky.

Anyway i can help? *I say with a friendly smile as i finally arrive*

The thing should find itself double entrapped once exiting Cyrus's labyrinth now... *Looking at the liminal indentation rift*

Believe it or not, i'm well familiar with these 'not quite' realms of the multiverse, and you should be careful just how much power you bring in them. Depending on the category, some are rather alive and hostile if they feel threatened by an inability to trap you in there... When i rescued Delta, that Liminal Indentation tried to implode on us as a last desperate act...

Could we possibly trap these things in a reality they think is real, but is more of a prison?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Right *Grabs a massive contraption that almost looks like a mechanical claw* This should split the rift right up, and hopefully it doesn't screech like the last attempt...

<Snipped quote by The Monitor>

*side eyes Lumyiell as he approaches then refocuses on the work*

I'll work to reinforce it.
*Casts yellow symbols against its surface, which embed deep into the tool*
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Let's first help him stabilize the rifts first in that habitat module there... then i guess we jump right in?

Sure...
*Swipes two fingers down my arm, creating a series of yellow assistive runes ready to be activated*
<Snipped quote by Memory>

*After some chatting with Alexander and helping him out i return to you two*@RoadkilBanana@Memory

Turns out we should start rescuing souls as soon as possible because the longer they stay in the liminal indentations the more they decay according to the good proffessor. At the moment we don't seem to have any good idea how to do it en mass, but we could do it the old fashion way... send copies in the rifts and see what we can gleam... until anybody comes with a better solution...

*After Gavryiel's warning you see me ever so slightly side-eyeing Lumyiell as he seems to analyse the ground outside the camp*

We'll need to bring his superweapons with us. When do we leave?

<Snipped quote by Memory>

Cyrus: "We'll find out if we need to use it."

I can't say I hope we do.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Cyrus: "It can actually do a few things, just depends on how powerful you want it, ranging from simple blasts of energy to a black hole failsafe, in case things go... bad."

Black hole failsafe? What does that do, exactly?
