Bio

Hey there! My name is Meri. I'm 18, my pronouns are he/she, and I've been roleplaying for about 9 years... if you're feeling charitable and count pretending to be a warrior cat on the playground. I've been roleplaying through writing for 5 years.

I tend to prefer Advanced or High Casual, and use such a variety of punctuation I ought to keep a running total. My favorite roleplay themes are pirates, eldritch creatures, and sci-fi with magic. There is nothing I love writing more than body horror. Yes I am trans why do you ask. Anyways, as far as romance pairings go, I tend to prefer FxF, NBxNB, or FxNB—though ships with men aren't an automatic no. Never roleplayed a poly relationship, but I'd be happy to give it a shot! Small groups are my favorite group size—ideally 3-5 people—but I do enjoy 1x1 as well. I am not interested in large group roleplay (6+). Also, my favorite animal is the nosferatu bat, and I love the color yellow!

Feel free to hit me up if you're interested in roleplaying with me! Have a lovely day/night :)

No worries! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with :)
Sounds fun! Is this based on Dragon Age lore? If so, I'm definitely interested :)
I love this idea! Fantasy horse girls lol. I'm interested :)
This sounds awesome! I'm a huge fan of the SCP Foundation, and I like that this has similar vibes but with a more whimsical twist. I'm definitely interested :)
So I actually ended up watching the first episode of the show—I really enjoyed it, probably going to finish at least the first season! Whether we end up roleplaying or not, I'd like to thank you for the recommendation :)
Hey there! I'm Meri, I'm 18, and I've been roleplaying for about 9 years (if you're feeling charitable and count warrior cat LARPing lol). I love your ideas! I think spy x spy has a lot to offer, especially if we were to mix in the childhood best friends aspect. Obviously great angst potential, but it would also be really funny to learn that someone you knew as a kid also ended up pursuing a career in military espionage and /or assassination. Like, what are the odds? Small world. Boxer x ballerina/o also sounds fun, possibly in a sci-fi setting? Much to consider!

Communication is probably my #1 ask, so glad we agree there! I can update at the very least once a week, and communicate ooc no less than every other day. I'm cool with most mature themes (drugs, violence, sexual implications). I am not okay with explicit sex or references to sexual assault. I prefer FxF or NB pairings, but I'm not averse to relationships with men involved. As for the writing itself, I tend to skew towards Advanced (lord forgive my use of em dashes), about 3-4 paragraphs? Feel free to tell me if I end up getting too long-winded. Totally agree with your stance on one-liners. I also draw pretty often, so I can do some art if faceclaims help you visualize.

Anyways, yeah! Your rp ideas and general vibe seem great, so if you're looking for another 1x1 partner, just lemme know :)
This sounds awesome! I've played Fallen London and loved it, though I haven't played Sunless Seas. That said, I adore pirates and horror, so I'm definitely interested if you'd like to do a small group :)
Sounds like a fun concept! I've played a little bit of FFXIV—though the most I'm aware of is pretty much chocobos and cat people. I have a Roegadyn gal I'd be happy to roleplay though :)
Hey! I haven't seen the show, but this concept sounds very interesting! I'd love to be the medic.
Kaqir's exuberance was quickly tempered by the sight of the Glen. Gods above. It was nothing she couldn't fix, of course, but the fact that they seemed to have carted him across such wild roads with an injury like this... well, it couldn't have been pleasant, to say the least. His voice was too tight around his thanks, all scratch and scrape and—no. It would be fine. She tipped her head in what she hoped was a reassurance. "You're welcome, sir. This should only take a moment."

Pressing a talon to his chest, she took a deep breath.

Bone and blood and sinew screamed into her touch. His ribs were thoroughly cracked—though whatever broke them had the decency to leave him with a clean fracture. A direct blow, and a strong one at that. He certainly looked the fighting type. Who were these people? A noblewoman and her guards? Her gaze caught on the Iriad. They looked far too interesting to mix with high society, even in some place as open-minded as the Ascendancy. And the fellow Tekeri clearly had enough of an understanding of magic to be familiar with Life practices. Perhaps a group of bounty hunters?

She shook the thoughts from her mind. She was getting paid to heal, not investigate. It didn't matter who they were.

Closing her eyes, she smothered the urgent cries of his pain receptors. He didn't need to feel what was to come. That was a step you only had to miss once. Diagrams crumpled in her head, fresh ink on old paper. She'd operated on very few Glen, but their anatomy was still familiar, if a bit more mammalian than she was used to. Her notes were messy but memorable, and that's what mattered. The anterior chest cavity of a Glen was much sturdier than that of a Tekeri. There was no need of coaxing, just command. Her magic seized the marrow, stretching it to the severed fragment and twisting inside. That helped fuel the shell of periosteum, lengthening the ribcage back to its normal size. His lungs seemed to be unharmed. It was almost eerie to hear their rasp without a pulse between them.

Fortunately, his lower ribs fared better than those in his upper half. Some minor contusions along the muscle and inner bone, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some expedited tissue cleaning. His heart, which was nestled in this set of lungs, beat healthily.

Exhaling slowly, she awoke his deadened nerves and withdrew. A few lingering cells tugged at her attention: scattered scars beneath his cuirass, burns curling across his arm, old bruises yellow beneath his fur. They weren't things meant to be healed, though—if he had allowed their presence this long, they were a part of him. Memories. Warnings. Badges, maybe.

She met his eyes and smiled. "There we go! You should be all healed up. Do let me know if anything still hurts."
