Bio

Hey there! My name is Meri. I'm 18, my pronouns are he/she, and I've been roleplaying for about 9 years... if you're feeling charitable and count pretending to be a warrior cat on the playground. I've been roleplaying through writing for 5 years.

I tend to prefer Advanced or High Casual, and use such a variety of punctuation I ought to keep a running total. My favorite roleplay themes are pirates, eldritch creatures, and sci-fi with magic. There is nothing I love writing more than body horror. Yes I am trans why do you ask. Anyways, as far as romance pairings go, I tend to prefer FxF, NBxNB, or FxNB—though ships with men aren't an automatic no. Never roleplayed a poly relationship, but I'd be happy to give it a shot! Small groups are my favorite group size—ideally 3-5 people—but I do enjoy 1x1 as well. I am not interested in large group roleplay (6+). Also, my favorite animal is the nosferatu bat, and I love the color yellow!

Feel free to hit me up if you're interested in roleplaying with me! Have a lovely day/night :)

Startling from her reverie, it took Kaqir a moment to process the traveller's words. Services, urgency... pay! Money! Job! Sparkly! She brightened, eyes crinkling in the Tekeri approximation of a grin. "Ah, I am indeed the one for which you search! Life mage Kaqir, at your service."

She bowed, one wing folding in front while the other fanned dramatically against the stars. The woman before her was clearly wealthy—no common adventurer usually bothered to stay so pristine when confronted with the constant grime of travel. And that herbal scent (spice? citrus? how refreshing!) was surely of some expense. Perhaps someone of her apparent station would appreciate the gesture.

"In what matter may I assist you, madam?"
Kaqir sighed contentedly, ruffling her feathers. She'd always liked how they looked at night. The moon was a pretty sort of painter. Every fiber, every detail, every mote of dust and dirt and molting skin smiled sweet with silver.

She didn't really have the energy to wax poetic, though, so she just thought, ooo, sparkly. It was an adjective she wielded quite often, about a great many things. Especially coin.

The job had been a straightforward one—a young Tekeri boy, taken ill with a cruel strain of giardiasis. Ertiseda was nice enough, but any town that sprung up quick enough for trade was bound to have issues getting a reliable water source. The mother, poor dear, was worried nearly as sick as her son. They didn't have money to spare, but Kaqir checked up on him. Like a fool. Saw him shivering in that tiny homemade blanket and broke. It was easy to fix him, in the end. None of that tearing and stitching and blood. No. No. Diseases like this were simple. His white blood cells were being overwhelmed, and fast. All she had to do was send reinforcements, and with them, a message: you can be strong. you will be strong. you will choke out the monsters that hurt your little boy.

He looked like Sev'ee.

She shut the door behind her. That was her problem. None of these patients were her family. Healing took skill and energy and time. If she was going to make it as a mercenary, she was going to have to be responsible. Realistic. Paid. No matter how good it felt to know she could save people.

But she made her choice, and here she was: certifiably broke. Her rent at the inn was definitely due tonight, and she hadn't earned a thing but a thank-you-loaf in days.
Cool! More lore is always great :) I really appreciate all the thought you put into the world—it was super fun to make a character for, and it seems like it'll be a great foundation for the rp.
Also, I love the idea of jester assassins, @Eviledd1984! Every good contract killer needs a bit of flair. Definitely gives a creepy clown vibe.
Hello! Here is my character. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

One note: I didn't give Kaqir a last name. I figured with the Tekeri's general lack of emphasis on lineage they wouldn't have them, but I can totally give her one if you'd like. I love a fun surname :)
Hello! I'd love to roleplay with you if you're interested. Ideas one and five are most intriguing to me (also, Catherine reference in Idea three, nice)! In Idea One, I could play pretty much any type of character, but I think some kind of magic-user who was searching for entry to a faerie court and got more than they bargained for would be cool. For idea five, I could play the Moon reincarnation. Nuor sounds like a very fun character to play opposite :)
I did indeed! I used this lovely avatar creator: picrew.me/image_maker/132829. Snails are great :)
Hi! I'd love to roleplay with you if you're interested. I'm cool with writing both monstrous and human characters, but would probably prefer a supernatural character opposite another supernatural character. Vampires and ghosts are my favorite; they always have the potential for a good mystery :)
Hello! As another very queer writer, I really appreciate all the thought you put into the ideas posted here! Eirian and Mika Mori are probably my favorites as far as your characters go, and I think Souls of Prejudice or Demon the Oblivion are particularly interesting scenarios. I'd be delighted to roleplay any of those if you're interested :)
