I think I have my writing confidence back. Feels like centuries since I could string together sentences.

Sometimes I lie awake dreaming of being as consistent in this hobby as I was ten years ago.

Hi. I'm a role-player/writer who has spent over twenty-one years in this hobby.

I will pretty much write anything as long as my partner is cool with my inconsistent posting pace and momentum. I'm pretty sociable and I make dumb jokes all the time. My favorite things to write is capeshit, anime, space operas, horror, and slice of life/mundane drama. My writing level leans toward minimalism, but I try to give my partners/groups more than enough to work off of. I like to think I am pretty flexible.

I like cinema, music, and animation just as much as I like writing with people. My biggest hobby after writing is pop media analysis. Ask me questions or for suggestions and I'm sure to have something for you. 😎😎😎

I'm not sure where the line is for "work on a new idea" or "push through the current idea" for me. I'm notoriously terrible with deadlines and consistency. The times where I can post often (Damian, Kara) seem to be the rare occurrences rather than the norm for me.

I think when I hit a wall I just end up whining to Maxx, Andy, or Bounce. Sometimes all three.

“Now if you are assisting me with this, we do it my way; Freeze isn’t someone I want to just go in swinging against. We could actually help him here.”
Red Robin

“Tch.”

Damian continued looking over the scene as Drake asserted himself like his presence here was a hindrance.

His assertion that they were some kind of therapist like Gordon likened herself to be was an annoying one. Freeze had gotten out of Arkham consistently and each subsequent time he decided to go back to the exact same pattern. Steal things. Leverage technology. How many times did it take for a criminal to resist their urge? How long until they actually reformed themselves? Would they ever? Questions to be asked for someone else.

“We are here to stop him. Not engage in excessive diplomatic debate.” Damian remarked as he remained in place. “If you have a plan then you better tell me how you wish it to be executed.”
I like writing Damian. It's fun.

“Well, you’re certainly the last person I expected to receive that call.”
Red Robin, an annoyance

Damian’s eyes narrowed as he scowled at the former Boy Wonder.

Drake’s comment wasn’t surprising given the two’s particular relationship. Neither of them had let certain things go and had decidedly different approaches. A year ago the thirteen-year-old would’ve scoffed before jumping down into the fray, but Damian stayed put to ‘banter’ as some of his comrades in the Titans would put it, though he kept his eyes on the scene below. He was not one to get distracted.

“It is not something I intend to make a habit.”

Patrol routes. Numbers. Posture of experienced gang members, but nothing too alarming. Drake probably had noticed other things. He was the better detective, though Damian would never admit it out loud.

“By the way, I have a message. From Wilson. She wishes to inform you that she sorely misses ‘messing’ with you and wonders when you’ll be done pretending to be ‘your own man’.” Damian commented quietly in a tone of irreverence. It was meant to get underneath the titular Red Robin’s skin. He wondered if using his former comrades in the Titans would be useful ammo in the future.
I'll get a Damian post up before the Freeze stuff goes down.
I prefer Ang Lee's Hulk to the MCU's Hulk, actually.
Hey, OOC discussion is cool. That in mind...

What are your unpopular superhero/superhero media opinions?

For instance, considering what's been said in this thread... I didn't think The Suicide Squad was that great. 6/10-ish. It's a vast improvement over the original of course, but from the hype I was expecting something mindblowing, instead I got something that felt like a low to mid MCU outing.

Ant Man is the best MCU movie.

I’ve tracked Freeze to the abandoned Snow Cones Ice Cream Factory.

The words seemed to go by quick as Damian operated at the helm of the Batcomputer.

Did Mr. Freeze ever consider his lack of efficiency was due to the nature of revisiting the same abandoned building over-and-over? The best criminals in Gotham utilized a variety in approaches and certainly wouldn’t be using the same base of operations they did when they first appeared. Damian wasn’t particularly surprised. Annoyed. But not surprised. Drake probably had a theory about the pathos regarding using the same ice cream factory in the north end of Gotham. Reliable refrigeration and temperature control seemed to be the most cut-and-dry reason, not that a reason ever helped Batman & Robin from taking down an enemy. Tactics were more important than Pathos as far as he was concerned.

“Hn.” Damian mulled over the thought of participating.

Drake was somewhat competent and had been his rival ever since he arrived in Gotham. He had been the leader of the Titans before him. Damian liked him the least of all the Robin’s and Batgirl’s he had met and he was pretty sure the feeling was mutual. The thirteen-year-old scoffed as he looked at the map, analyzing all of the entry points. Mr. Freeze seemed like an adequate target to test his mettle after being away from Gotham for a few months. He would have to deal with Drake, but what better way to prove that he shouldn’t have been sent away then by working with and upstaging his rival—his threat to the mantle?

Damian tightened his hood as he moved forward, toward the R-Cycle.

It was time to ride.
