I think I have my writing confidence back. Feels like centuries since I could string together sentences.

Hi. I'm a role-player/writer who has spent over twenty-one years in this hobby.

I will pretty much write anything as long as my partner is cool with my inconsistent posting pace and momentum. I'm pretty sociable and I make dumb jokes all the time. My favorite things to write is capeshit, anime, space operas, horror, and slice of life/mundane drama. My writing level leans toward minimalism, but I try to give my partners/groups more than enough to work off of. I like to think I am pretty flexible.

I like cinema, music, and animation just as much as I like writing with people. My biggest hobby after writing is pop media analysis. Ask me questions or for suggestions and I'm sure to have something for you. 😎😎😎

Player Name: TGM

Character Name: Jessica “Jessi” Liang-Jones

Specialization: Hacker/Tech

Background: Born to a poor family in Gotham’s Chinatown, Jessi’s been surrounded by the criminal element (see: The Golden Dragons) her entire life. For a brief period of time she thought she had gotten out. Graduated from the University of Gotham, got a nice gig at Stagg Industries doing IT, that is until she was pushed out by her boss after she refused his sexual advances. She didn’t have any evidence and he had all of the power capital in the world–not to mention he ruined her before she could even react. Labeled as being “difficult to work with”, “a malignant, lying sociopath”, and worse she found it hard to find work afterwards. She turned to freelance work and being a computer whiz that meant working as a hacker for somebody. Ultimately, she wants enough money to fund her own start-up and start fresh, though the more work she does as a hacker has shown her one thing: the adrenaline rush is like none other.

Notable Features: Jessica “Jessi” Liang-Jones is a 27 year-old hacker and freelance IT specialist of Chinese and Eastern European ancestry. To most people they only see the former. She is thin, but not athletic.

Personality: Sardonic, Competitive, Irreverent, Impulsive, Blunt, and Temperamental are Jessi's core personality traits.

Fatal Flaw: Jessica is impatient, almost instinctively impulsive. Marked as “difficult to work with” and a “compulsive liar” from past employers, she can have problems geling with a group. But she brings results and she reminds people of that fact often.
Sensation & Wonder Presents: The Batman
ISSUE #1: Darkness Looms

Gotham City New Jersey

Park Row. Where darkness begins. Where light ends. A tranquil denouement of a place that was once thriving; where Gotham's rot truly began to spread like a cancer. It is a monument to who I am and what I once was.

It is the place where Thomas Wayne died.

Yeah, it is lackluster. Much like Monster Hunter, God Eater started out of handheld games and it isn't until God Eater 3 where the production values have really been allowed to have a budget. GE3 is still no MHW, but I think that has to be the next step.
I never thought I'd enjoy Code Vein so much, I walked into it expecting the cringiness of God Eater 3 but was met by talented English voice acting, a very engaging story and characters that were actually likeable.

Yeah it's way better than the God Eater games mechanically and aesthetically. I feel like God Eater has personality, it just hasn't had great mechanics behind it to excel.

“Yeah. I did.”

CJ’s response is brief, but still apathetic.

She smirks as the memory comes back to her. That watch–it was Brian’s. God she hated Brian. Not as much as she hated Jeff or Eddie, but they were essentially part of some of the worst experiences she had in high school. Ivory’s remark that reminders weren’t always so painful echoes in her head, a surge of resentment curdles in her stomach almost instantly. What a privileged thing to say. The kind of thing someone who didn’t have to go through real pain said to you. Kind of thing you were supposed to smile and nod at.

She wanted to grab the back of her head and slam it into the table.

She didn’t. But she wanted to.

Her head turns casually to Lucas, trying to get the convo to end. She also has the opportunity to get that residual anger out through a snarky, informal comment.

“What about you, Lucas? Family Photo? Christian Cross? Lot of things you wanted to throw away, I’m sure you put something in.”

What did she put in the Time Capsule? It was a question that CJ couldn’t quite find an answer to.

Everyone seemed to have different ideas. Anni talks about some letter, a lame letter that nobody would ever want to read. Hanna has no idea what she put in there, probably the one time in the history of the universe Hanna forgets something to talk about. Jack talks about her stash which causes CJ to nearly laugh between bites of her burger. As if the faculty would let a student put something like that into a project they were monitoring. The audacity. But then again, Jack was sneaky like that, if there was someone at Ritman who could pull something like that off she believes Jack could.

She washes down the burger with more whiskey. She can feel the burning. It feels good.

“None of it matters.” she remarks, apathetically about the capsule, “Bunch of garbage we stored away that nobody was gonna want to dig up.”

She thinks back as she snarks at the idea of the time capsule. She was here to torment Jack, not to hold hands in a circle and talk about the good old days. For CJ, she softly recalls an expensive watch she tossed in the capsule. More of a fuck you to the guy who owned it than anything else, but it was there.

“Why do you want to open it, anyway?”

Her eyes cut back to Ivory, clearly judging them for the decision.

Guess I have to finish up my Spider-concept a little sooner than I expected, then.
