I think I have my writing confidence back. Feels like centuries since I could string together sentences.

Vindication comes, so too does peace of mind as I close one chapter and open a new one.

Hi. I'm a role-player/writer who has spent over twenty-one years in this hobby.

I will pretty much write anything as long as my partner is cool with my inconsistent posting pace and momentum. I'm pretty sociable and I make dumb jokes all the time. My favorite things to write is capeshit, anime, space operas, horror, and slice of life/mundane drama. My writing level leans toward minimalism, but I try to give my partners/groups more than enough to work off of. I like to think I am pretty flexible.

I like cinema, music, and animation just as much as I like writing with people. My biggest hobby after writing is pop media analysis. Ask me questions or for suggestions and I'm sure to have something for you. 😎😎😎

I've settled on making a sorcerer that focused on research, but I don't know what his goal will be. Are there any major problems related to magic?

Outside of the fact that he's joining an order of magical knights? Possibly no. Hard to say.

Looks like a good concept. I will say that the Spiritual Affinity refers to the nature of their soul, even if unawakened I'd like this information available for future storyline considerations. Outside of that, I think when I decide on the playerbase this would be perfectly acceptable.
Today's plans are to review sheets and make suggestions to make them better fit, add more great nations as needed, and expand on the OOC as much as I think is useful. Right now I have to go for about a half hour-to-hour. I'll be back around 4:30-5:00 EST.
Worth noting that I revised the writeup for the magic section, added a few elements, and did some other preparation. I may revise the nations writeups but the most essential information is available at this time.

Oh this feels intimidating to join. Feels like a step above casual roleplay.

But somehow a step below advanced! Curious, isn't it?
That was, in fact, the plan. Two other people asked me about elf characters and I had to strongly suggest against such applications. If the human cast is big enough, I suppose another slot may open but I don't want to put wishes in people's heads.
I'm not sure what the benefit of mostly need-to-know information that would need a formal write up of something I discussed informally about a species I did not intend on having more than one character represented of would be, if I am going to be honest. I still need to clean up the magic write up and some other sections so I don't find it a priority.

That aside, I can say that elves are creatures that don't exactly have a conventional lifespan and when they die they don't die like humans do. They are still largely reminiscent of fae creatures as I have been highly inspired by brythonic (which is why they are distinctively welsh) lore and language as of late. As mentioned their magic functions completely differently than humans, though there is some things they share in common. When they reach the end of their life they become one with mana, oftentimes becoming one with the world tree that their druids protect very stalwartly. Conventional half elves (as in Dungeons & Dragons) are not a thing and it would be spoiling a story hook to overshare in this matter.
