As someone who works for a pet store I both love and hate pixar. The next person that tries to ask me if we have "a dory fish" for their goldfish bowl is getting straight up clubbed like a baby seal

I understand that folks have real life priorities that take precedence, but when you guys get the opportunity would you mind sounding off so me and Lydyn can see who's still interested in this RP? I apologize if this comes off as demanding as this is not my intent; I'd just like to know where we stand in terms of participation since it helps us to develop future plot points, be they character specific or based on the group as a whole.
Sorry if my transition post was a bit subpar, it's been a minute since i've been in the "driver's seat" so to speak.
The masked woman observed the group she had gathered silently as they went about plotting their course of action. The heroes were young and still had much to learned, however she had faith that they would learn quickly how to act as the team that they so desperately needed to become if they were to survive the dark days ahead. Her voice rang out once more, a soothing and even tone that somehow commanded attention despite it's gentle nature "It appears as though you all are capable of handling what comes next without my needing to get involved too often. I shall take my leave for now, but rest assured that I will be watching all of you. Meet back here tomorrow before nightfall." she stated before she began to fade from everyone's view. Before disappearing entirely, the masked woman's head would appear to hang freely in the air as her eyes bored into the group, "One last thing, remember to be careful and watch each other's backs as you would your own. I may not be the only thing that is watching you..." She warned, her words echoing slightly as she disappeared completely and left the group to their own devices.

After the meeting was brought to a close the group would split off to prepare for what was to come next, each of them with their own tasks. Jacque for his part would spent half of his remaining night preparing potions, a few spells and small golems, and other little knick knacks for the mission. The following day for him would consist of a morning shift at the tea shop along with a bit of idle chat with his boss, this would be followed by him rushing back to his apartment to change into his costume and grab his supplies and pet before he bolted right back out the door, doing his best to keep a low profile as he made his way downtown to the Archer.

Upon arriving Jacque took it upon himself to sit near the door to the back room, where he soon began to alternative between eating mint leaves and muttering lowly, seemingly to no one at all. To the average Joe Jacque may have looked like a complete crazy person, however as far as the bokor was concerned, his muttering was completely justified. His pet had been fussing at him for the better part of an hour and he was tired of it. "Look, I know the shrinking potions taste bitter, but if I go adding something to sweeten them then they may end up having residual side effects." He said before his hat began to shift around on his head, "I don't know what kind, that's the whole point!". Yet more shuffling came from the hat, this time accompanied by a small hiss, "Well it's not MY fault you always wanna tag along! Most places aren't exactly pet friendly you know. I mean really, if people were to see you in here right now then this place could get shut down for health code violations.", more shuffling still, "Ugh, ok Juju look, I will *try* to figure out how to get rid of the bitterness safely, but no promises. In the meantime quit yer fussin'. If you cooperate and we pull this off without a hitch then you can expect and extra rat this week.". Jacque's had gave one last shake and then lie still, prompting a relieved sigh from the bokor just moments before he consumed another mint leaf and proceeded to wait patiently for the rest of the group to arrive.
So essentially she's got a mentality similar to Superman then, yes? Crushing anything that opposes you is easy, but finding the strength not to is hard. It says a lot about her as a character.
Considering the already destructive and unstable nature of Dimitri's abilities I don't know if mind breaking him would be a good idea, lol. Then again Kassy could probably get away with a bit subtle influence since he actually trusts her. I've sort of come to picture Dimitri to be sort of like a dog that's been used for nothing but dog fights, at least in terms of personality: He's extremely quick to resort to aggression since it's pretty much all he knows now, and takes forever to actually trust someone. Once you get him to actually let his guard down around you, you've got a friend that not only thinks you can do no wrong, but will lay down and die for you if he has to. That being said, he's still a bit leery about things like affection and praise since he's not really used to it.
Manny's ears perked slightly at the sound of a cage falling somewhere behind him, however the kestrel's constant harassment left him with practically no time to turn and reprimand Reece for his actions. The kestrel meanwhile started to alter it's attacks a bit, Kassy's mental suggestion having cut slightly through the haze that clouded the raptor's mind. The concept of a friend was a foreign thought to the creature, however it's mind was able to conjure up the closest thing, which was "non-threat", or rather the avian equivalent to it anyway. The second suggestion further cleared the bird's mind, and it's message was only too easy to decipher.

The bird swooped over Manny's head with confidence that it had not previously displayed, to which Manny could only respond with a chocked back growl of frustration. Everything about this was bad; bad for business, bad for his reputation, and bad for his goddamn blood pressure. Watching Reece's piss poor attempts to catch the bird only served to exacerbate the situation. For a moment Manny entertained the idea of just shooting Reece after it was done and they were on their way back, perhaps halfway through the trip so that the body could be weighed down and chucked overboard without anyone noticing. He entertained this thought, then he squinted a bit at his cohort. Something seemed off about "Reece", but he couldn't quite place what it was. Was Reece a bit shorter than he'd remembered? No that wasn't it. His hair? Was it darker or lighter than he'd last seen it? Manny couldn't tell, such details were always so unimportant until they were necessary.
Once more his pondering was interrupted, first by the Kestral taking a swipe at his goggled face with wicked talons- something he'd barely managed to dodge- and then again by a sharp yelp as the rhinoceros calf saw fit to charge Percy and strike the behemoth man in the groin with it's nubby horn. Things were getting more out of hand by the minute "Find a net or something you buffoon! Or Would you rather it shred your hands while you paw at it?!" he finally barked to Reece as he remembered what he'd been asked.
@Mistress DizzyI wouldn't mind a few more details, you've given me a pretty good idea of what to expect, but it's always nice to see characters with psionic abilities being given a more in-depth (pun intended) explanation. Personally speaking i've always fancied the idea of mental control being a tug of war that pitted the psion's mental fortitude and will against that of the targeted person. Now I mentioned this in a thread a while back. T'is a good thing I was browsing some of my older posts in a separate to relive the past rps i've been in like the nostalgic bastard I am since it means I can just copy/paste the post I made regarding telepathic abilities:

". A telepath could easily sway some average schmuck on the street if said schmuck isn't prepared for a mental tug of war, but let's say that the telepath tried using their abilities on a hardened fighter: The fighter might not have quite the same level of mental fortitude as the telepath, but he's likely going to have good deal of willpower which can present a challenge, but isn't impossible. The fighter's lack of mental fortitude makes them a tad easier to wrest control of, but that high willpower means that they can still resist to some extent, and that even the slightest lapse in concentration might be all that they need to break free

Now, let's say we have a telepath try their abilities on a telekinetic with high mental fortitude but low willpower, again it'd be a challenge, maybe even more so than the fighter because the telekinetic understands the mind a bit better, but this too can be overcome with enough effort. The telekinetic's mental fortitude makes them a much more complex target and definitely draws out the time needed to ensnare them, but the lack of willpower means that the telepath can rest a bit easier than they could with the fighter.

tl;dr

Willpower = Harder to control but easier to ensnare.
Mental Fortitude = Harder to ensnare but easier to control."

This all being said, i'd still love to hear more of your take on it.

Regarding Dimitri's appearance, i've done a bit of browsing about and the only picture i've ever been somewhat satisfied with was

with his prosthetic being something like

I'd be fine with a Co-Gm or two provided that you collaborated with them a bit to give an idea as to what's expected to go down until you're able to post more frequently.
