Mkay, so for your CS, please add a bit more depth to the personality as far as fleshing her out past her perversion. Similarly, also expand the history just a bit, mainly in terms of actually being relevant to the delinquent angle.

Also, just so there's as little miscommunication as possible, detail exactly what the water/ice stuffs are, what she can do and etc.

We'll be starting the RP once your character is approved, or tomorrow. Whichever comes first.

Alrighty, that's fine. A lot of this is supposed to be development done in-RP as the characters grow, so you don't have to codify things to that extent in the CS. You were already approved, so I won't say "approved" again.
I have added a bit to Jaarm's personality, hope it's okay now.

Mm, actually, I don't want to leave anyone behind unnecessarily, even if it's just a minor thing, so let's go with this.

Anyone who hasn't apped a character but has posted to say they will has the next 24 hours to do so before I start the IC. There are four of these people; you know who you are. Two of you are already in the character-building process, so I don't see this being an issue.

Being late to this won't mean you'll be disallowed from joining the RP; you'll just be younger than all your fellow RPers. If everyone has their characters apped and approved before 24 hours pass, then I'll post the IC early.

If you have real life complications, let me know and we'll try to work around them for you.

@Moonlit Sonata Not sure what you mean with his loyal side clashing with his standard state. Do you mean how he was loyal in his past life? I didn't really want to add too much as all that truly matters is the explanation of the skill Voxx has.

Also, are you going to be making the first IC post for us to build upon?


Well, he's a conniving, self-serving little bastard, right? The main thing I wanted to know is, if he's got his back against the wall, would he rather run and abandon people he's loyal to, or stick with them even in the face of a 99% chance of death. When the loyalty clashes with the selfishness, what wins out?

And yes, I will. We have a good crop of approved characters now, so I'll be making an IC introduction some time today.

I'd also like to declare at this time that we are full. If you haven't posted in either the Int Check or here prior to now, I'm sorry but I won't be letting you join. ;-;

I'll have to say no to the bandages. That doesn't really fit in with the logic of the universe. How's a Goblin going to be born wearing bandages? Are they a part of him? It's weird. Also, like I said before, I don't want any links to the past life outside of the Skill. You can come out with some birthmarks that look like burns, and maybe something small (I was a little iffy on allowing an earring, but it wasn't a big deal so I let it slide), but not bandages.

On the personality, I'm not really getting a whole lot here. I get that he's on the edge (of glory), but that's about it. Explain a little bit more about how he thinks/acts/feels, please.

The Skill is fine, but
Other parts of his body have proven to ignite as well, though he can't force it to happen. They're random, unintentional, and 99% of the time unwanted.

Just FYI, every time you activate your power, I'll roll a 1d100 to decide if another random part lights up.

Other: He's got a high threshhold for pain at this point.


He doesn't, though. Remember what I said in the CS?

Considering you won't remember any of this, "growth" that occurred during your past life won't be present, hence why you're a blank slate. If you had a traumatic experience and became afraid of the dark, you won't have that trauma here. If you were born afraid of the dark, though, then you will.


So his pain tolerance is going to be reset. He's like a baby now. Nothing from his past life has been retained at all in that sense.
An unapproved character has been posted in the Characters tab on one of the RPs that I'm GMing. As myself and the fellow GMs have decided we likely won't be accepting this character in the future, regardless of edits, we'd like to request the post be deleted so as to avoid unneeded confusion and clutter. I'll leave this to Tatsua-chan-senpai because she's strong and can face life's adversities head-on unless those adversities are [REDACTED]. It's not a huge issue, Ionion, I just feel like cutting in now would hurt Tatsua's feelings because I stole her thing to do. ;~;

@Jangel13, I'm not going to be super-strict on English standards, so you're fine. Just please try to avoid run-ons and capitalizing random words; those are pet peeves of mine, but I don't want to exclude you just on that basis.

@Meridian, it's nice; it's simple, but it get the job done. I will say though that if you have any apprehensions on what you want to use the Skill for that you're not sure about (seeing as you seem a bit unsure), you should PM me to clarify that it works. Remember, the Skill should be something that distinguishes you from the herd and lets you cut your own path, but that doesn't mean it needs to be "useful"; one that shapes your character like yours will mean you have the chance for different evolutions.

@ImpLaughs, you're good to go, though I wouldn't object to seeing a bit more detail on the more loyal side of him, and how it clashed with his standard state.

@OoTrillionoO, looks good, approved.

@Duthguy, a bit more depth on what he likes about the challenge of stealing would be nice. I'm not being the strictest on personality because of the nature of the RP, but just an extra sentence or two would really help.

@Hael, essentially, you won't start with any spells, you'll just start with a magic affinity, if you go that route. You'll be able to roughly channel your mana, and you'll have that affinity, which will allow you to create spells. The degree to which you're able to use magic proficiently will depend on your experience and ability with that. Also, Goblins themselves aren't a magically-inclined species, normally, so you'll be limited until at least your first evolution. I can't say a whole lot more, because a big part of this is you guys figuring out the mechanics on your own. Basically if you want magic, just pick an "affinity". Fire, Necromancy, Soul Attacks, Corruption, Absorption, Stagnation, it's up to you. If you have an affinity in mind and you're iffy on it, PM me.

@Zombehs, we've got our chuuni. It's time. Too bad Guild can't do ruby text. It's a different approach than the others, actually going for a power rather than an affinity, but that doesn't mean it's a bad approach. You're approved.
