Bio
Hello, welcome to my profile/bio thingy.
I'm Morgannis, 30-something year old weirdo who lives on the internet. I enjoy writing, reading, and playing video games. I also have a dog that rules my life, and we're currently on a weight loss journey for her (she's a lil'bit of a sausage oops).
I love zombies and horror, so if you're interested in doing any sort of rp in that realm, you might see me pop up around it!
I tried to do my best with the formatting, but gosh that's hard when the pictures are all wonky sizes. Please let me know what you'd like me to change, if anything.

The Bailey family has been a long time staple for the town of Huddeen. Opening the Happy Days Diner in the 1960’s, Cynthia helped her mother and grandmother tend the small restaurant as the town that they loved grew. They would often host celebrations there for the community, as well as hold food drives, and other things that would help to benefit their community. They would even donate meals if a particularly bad storm came through the town, giving at least a little bit of reprieve for any affected by it.
When her mother grew old, the Happy Days Diner was passed to Cynthia, who in turn passed it to her youngest son, Patrick. It has only been a few months since Patrick has returned to Huddeen with his wife and children. While Patrick himself had been a fervent part of the community in his youth, this is the first time Margaret has been out of the big city, and her apprehension is clear. Will she be able to live up to the Bailey name, and keep the family in the good graces of the community?
Patrick was always the quiet one out of all of his brother’s. Even at a young age he loved technology, and was often the one that his mother would call when she needed any kind of help with the computer, phone, or television. It wasn’t a surprise, then, when he told her that he wanted to leave Huddeen and go to school to become an IT professional.
It was there in the city, working on his bachelor’s, that he met Margaret. They worked for the same company at the time, and her beauty captivated him, forcing him to come out of his shell and take a chance before someone swooped in and took it for him. Asking Margaret out was the best decision he ever made, and he couldn’t be happier. Now he has a family he would do anything in his power to protect. ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ Use as many or few of the above symbols as needed to balance this cell with the cell containing the image.
Having a family was always difficult for Margaret. Being raised by a single mother, she never wanted what she had as a child, watching her mom struggle to keep them afloat. Yet when she herself turned into a single mother, she refused to take the same course. Instead, Margaret flung herself into work, starting out as a simple receptionist for a large fashion company, and working her way up to executive assistant of Beth Greene, owner and operator of Coral Fashion. It was there that she met Patrick.
Margaret could never fathom why Patrick loved her. To her, she was boring, dry, and distant. She would yell over the kids to try to quiet them when they were being rowdy, her first born Tommy getting the brunt of her anger. She was distant, and while she floundered at parenting, Patrick seemed to excel. He completed her, grounded her, and helped her finally start to open up to her surroundings. Even after 14 years of marriage, she’s still learning and becoming a new person day by day. ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ Use as many or few of the above symbols as needed to balance this cell with the cell containing the image.
To say Tommy was a problem child would be an understatement. Ten years old when his mother married Patrick, he hated the man with every inch of his being. He wanted to be with his father - his real father - the man often letting him do everything and anything that he wanted to. The marriage between Margaret and Jude was toxic, but Tommy didn’t see that. How could he, when his true father was obviously playing favorites.
The anger stuck with Tommy, festering in him. He often got into fights, took to fighting and smoking at a young age, and was overall just a horrible person to be around. Fighting with his mother was constant, but even through it all, Patrick never raised his voice to the young man. In fact, Patrick never treated him with anything but kindness; it only made Tommy angrier, however.
Leaving the apartment they shared in the city, Tommy tried his hand at college. It ended poorly, though, with a fight breaking out between himself and other young men. Being kicked out of the university, and with nowhere else to go, Tommy found himself in Huddeen with his family. His mother hoped for a fresh start, but all he wanted was to run and never look back. Spunky, weird and unrestrained, no one is sure where Emily’s personality came from. She is nothing like either of her parents, often being the life of the party, and the wildest one in the household. She speaks her mind, will defend her friends with her life if necessary, and loves to make new ones to add to that roster.
Once they moved, Emily tried to not let it get her down. They weren’t that far from the city, after all, and once she was able to drive in a year she would go and visit her best friends as much as she could. She was able to make some new friends in Huddeen as well, showing them the city ways, as well as learning as much as she could about her new home. ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ Use as many or few of the above symbols as needed to balance this cell with the cell containing the image.
Luca is just like his father when he was younger. Quiet, shy, and knowledgeable, he tends to keep to himself, now more than ever. Being pulled away from any friends he had made in the city hasn’t helped, and the poor boy is often going from school straight to his room, where he connects with his old pals online.
Shyness has kept him from making any new friends, and when his own aren’t around online, he tends to wander the wilderness around their house.

Being a resident of Huddeen since she was born, Cynthia always did whatever she could to help the community. She pushed her four sons to be the best people they could be, and grew her household name to be a prominent part of their society. With her husband Matthias, they enjoyed a life of happiness, living in God’s Grace.
Even with all of her stubbornness, though, she couldn’t save her husband. The old man died 5 months before the world began to end, heart failure catching up with him, no matter how many times Cynthia tried to get him to see a doctor. The weight of already losing a son to an accident, mixed with losing her partner of forty-three years, began to bog her down. Calling up her youngest son, Patrick, it was quickly decided that the family would move back to Huddeen in support of her.

I am almost (!) done with my family, but I had another question (Imsosorry).
What do you mean by relevance in the character tab? Relevance to the story? If they're like, more of a side/main character? That's definitely going to be all of my questions! I should hopefully have my CS finished by late tomorrow if all goes well.
I had a few more questions. I was thinking about playing a family who owns a diner in Huddeen, if that would be alright? Also, how far away are the actual cities from Mulberry street? Like, would someone easily be able to commute back and forth if they worked in the city, or would you say that they're too far for that?
Is there a limit to how big you would like the families to be? There are only 3 slots that you have in the CS, did you want it to be limited to 3 characters per person, at most? Also, what is the minimum age of characters?
Personality: Di is a strong-willed woman. She is the type to always say what she wants to, and tends to act before thinking. She isn’t necessarily in it to hurt people, though. Overall, she’s brash but she means well. She tends to not change her mind when she thinks she’s in the right, and has to be proven wrong for her to finally cave. Even then, with her ego having taken a hit, she’ll probably just be a bit passive aggressive.
Backstory: It all began as a love story. Di wasn’t necessarily alone at school, but she had very few people that she would truly call a friend, at least, not until she met Kris. They were different, even from the beginning of their friendship, and it didn’t take Di long to fall head over heels in love with them. That was also how her Rift Warriors obsession began. Kris was a big fan, you see, and Di wanted something to talk about with Kris. Starting with the seventh game, it soon became the eighth, then the ninth. Then it wasn’t about Kris anymore.
Their relationship blossomed, then crashed and burned like so many other early romances, but Rift Warriors was still there. To say it was Di’s favorite game would be an understatement, and she would spend as much time as she could playing through the levels, mastering the art of her favorite character. Captain Julian Wickham became her close confidant, Di venting her frustrations with the pirate captain’s fists.
Di was at work when she heard about the contest. The rest of the day dragged as her anticipation swelled, and she practically ran home from her job at the supermarket. It was the most exciting news she had all month, heck, probably even all year! She put her job to the wayside for a while, often calling in sick if she felt like her place in the tournament was slacking, but ultimately it paid off for her. Earning third place in the whole thing, she could finally rest happy.
Rift Warrior Character: Captain Julian Wickham
Rift Warrior Faceclaim:
Debut: Rift Warrior V
Rift Warrior Backstory: Suzette Burgess never expected to be an infamous pirate. Sailing the seven seas had always been a life-long dream of hers, ever since she was a little girl, and she did everything in her power to do it. Going so far as to hide her true gender and adopt the name Julian Wickham, she found herself aboard a ship as a deckhand. What transpired through the years was a mess of mutiny, pillaging and pirating.
She was a fair pirate, she thought, mainly targeting any ships that were flying traders flags. The seas treated her well, too, the storms keeping their damage to a minimum each time they passed over her. Julian built up her reputation, gaining a crew of loyal seafaring men with it.
It was one fateful day that changed her life's course, however. The storm was particularly bad that night, the waves raging against the hull of her boat, The Bloody Mary (named after her mother's favorite drink). It was a different kind of storm; you could feel the electricity surging through the air, sparking violently. It was the only storm that truly terrified Julian.
She could feel fates hand guiding her, could feel it pull her beloved ship towards something…she didn't know what it was until her ship began to swirl in circles. The whirlpool seemed to materialized out of nowhere, and the ship was swallowed whole without any time to try to fix their course. The whirlpool glowed an eerie red, each sailor praying to God above that they wouldn't be pulled into Davy Jones Locker.
Julian awoke, shipwrecked and alone on a massive island. She was lucky, but what she didn't know was that this wasn't her world - or her time. She had been pulled into the rift, becoming yet another member of the Rift Warriors Cast.
Right Warrior Powers: Julian was granted the powers over the sea. Able to call creatures, she uses the creatures of the deep to fight for her, along with her handy henchmen that have long served by her side. The crashing waves heed her beck and call, the pirate finally becoming one with the mistress that claimed her all those years ago.
Other: Diana either goes by Di or Karma. She prefers to be called Karma online, and Di offline, but will punch anyone out if they ever call her Diana. Julian Wickham is loosely based on the real pirate, Mary Read.
@RisingRobin I went ahead and changed Di's bio to reflect what we talked about! I used picrews for the face claims, let me know if that's alright of if you'd prefer some other form of media.
@RisingRobin As far as Di's age is concerned, I was thinking that she would actually have gone back and played the original games when she got into the series. I can change it and mention that she started with one of the later ones and went on to play earlier games in the series? Unless they're no longer able to be obtained, for any reason?
That's exactly the kind of powers I wanted her to have too, haha. I should have asked what you wanted, but I'll go ahead and change her ability section when I get home! Looking forwards to the RP! :D
Here's my take on a character. I wasn't sure if you wanted a list of different abilities, or like, a general type of ability like control over water, etc. please let me know what I'd need to change! I also am currently at work, so I will be updating with images when I get home.
