When is a RP Deader Than Disco?

For me, it depends on a few factors.

If I barely know or talk to my partner, like either we have just gotten started or they're not that close with me, the RP is dead whenever I get tired of waiting. I decided a long time ago, I don't like to chase people down for replies. If you have stuff going on or you want me to expect delays, you gotta let me know to wait. I'm not going to pry into your business. I am only entitled to whatever my partner feels comfortable telling me.

If we have been going for several months/pages of content, or if my partner is a good friend, I will leave it open indefinitely just sorta wait for them to check back in with me. Usually if they're a good enough friend, I'll know what is going on or what to expect. But sometimes they don't have a chance to tell you. In any case, a deeper connection between partners warrants the benefit of the doubt.

Video Games: The General Discussion & Community Thread Number Two

Been playing through the Resident Evil games with my wife. We started with 7 and 8 because she said they are top notch and they were. Then we went back and started with one and are working our way back to 7. Currently playing 4. I can see why 3 was so disappointing. It really should have been combined in some way with 2. And we were playing the remake and the whole time my wife is lamenting "oh my boy! Look what they did to Nemesis,my boy!" XD I kinda liked it though?

The bigger, beastly forms he turns into were certainly better than the thing that stalks you through the first 50% of the game.

Now we're playing 4 and I am loving the heck outta this! So beautiful and reminds me a lot of Village.

What shows/movies are you watching?

Watching Severance season 2 and itching and aching each week for new episodes. Omg, I didn't realize Ben Stiller was so talented and based with these anti work/work life balance concepts and themes. I totally skipped The Secret Life of Walter Mitty when it first came out so maybe I just missed this journey he's been on to say something about workers and the imagination in the human spirit.

Also my wife is showing me The Sopranos(Tony is my fav) and I am showing her United States of Tara which is an old beloved comfort series.
