Correct. The empire also apparently gave full representation in Parliament to all of the colonies. Meaning that the vast majority of seats are probably held either by abstentionists or outright separatists.

This raises a really fair point as to how nothing has come of this situation yet.

Well, by the time the war is over the French and British will be fairly weakened despite if they win or lose. The United States will probably have been out of their war for a few years by then, you could always try talking to them. Y'know, Monroe Doctrine and all.

Condemning an American country for cooperating with European countries is only going to turn everyone against you, not just Europeans.

I think Brazil just doesn't want more conflict erupting in the Americas because as it stands nobody is really taking any action in the American possessions of European powers. Though now Mexico is going to be escalating the war there which other American nations probably don't really want.

Either that or something else. I'm planning it out with a friend of mine right now, but he's been too obsessed dragging me into playing EU4. Waiting on him to get back right now so we can figure out what exactly we're doing.

Every other WiR I have ever seen or taken place in certainly makes more sense than half of this stuff which has happened here so far.

It's been 3 years and since then China/FFGB have been working to heal the rifts. In addition, China most likely sees the war in Europe as an opportunity to take back lands From Russia. It is opportunistic. Also since Japan is allies with China, they will join them to get a piece of the Russian pie.

Are we ignoring the fact that the Taiping Rebellion had just ended as well and that the people of China probably aren't exactly keen on angering a power which not only have access to far better technology than they do in a military conflict, but can very easily dispatch a relatively small force to hold them back with. Even in a hypothetical situation where the Chinese/Japanese did win, they'd have suffered so many multiple losses in the process of doing so in an already unstable nation.

I don't think it quite works that way. I mean look at Iraq and their army after everything the United States did. This would be on a much larger scale and would probably cost the both of you a great deal of money.
