I may be missing greater context... but...

> Backwards ass unmodernized China
> Just as well Japan
> Destroying Russia

Try not to make me laugh. Both states should be catatonically backwards. Japan's a lot closer, but China wasn't really "modern" until the Second World War at least. Even against the awkwardly dead-fished Russian military.

Russia now has to fight a two front war. The modern armies of Ottomans, Romania, and Austria on one side where they have sent the majority of their troops. And then the vast horde of Chinese and Japanese troops. Lowballing, China can raise over 2million conscripts in this coming turn. In addition, Russia does not currently have the infrastructure to transport their troops from West to East. That's not including his immense debt...

So, Republican revolution could come to Russia should they lose catastrophically?

It's a game dude, I turned my brain off for historical authenticity when France ceded Aslaice and Lorraine to Austria.

One strange event having happened in the past doesn't mean that we should all throw our arms in the air and not even pretend to make actions that are at least somewhat realistic.

The main battle line is somewhere in North Carolina, about thirty miles north of Raleigh.

Pretty much this. I don't want things to follow history to the book, but if things are to deviate from the normal path of things there at least needs to be some semblance of realism behind it. One of the rules of this entire NRP in the first place has to do with maintaining a sense of realism and I believe the example given had to do with 'gorillas in New York.'. I'm fairly certain some of the things that have come to pass have transcended that example and become something else entirely.

You mean the 8th Coalition still thinking they can win and not giving up yet?

That and queen Victoria going insane and exercising powers that did not exist as she was merely a figurehead at this point also kind of did it in for me. I mean France would never ever willingly cede territory at this point in time. So with those events coming to pass this became more fiction then historical fiction where anything could happen I.E Japan and China singing kumbaiya as they invade Russia. Hence why I do not really look at past events as this is definitely an alternate history and the past as we know it has pretty much been thrown out the window and am enjoying it for what it is instead of nitpicking. I could nitpick for days about some of the decisions but why bother as this is fiction and for fun.

^ The Victoria situation had to be covered up with a big bandaged labelled, "She was insane all along!". It WAS completely ridiculous, and everyone acknowledged it.

This isn't a fantasy roleplay where we throw reality out the window and rewrite our country's names and histories to suit our preferences.

There has been exactly two major battles, one a victory for the Eighth Coalition and one a loss. We've lost no territory whatsoever. It'd be unrealistic if we did all start surrendering.

The Tran-Siberian Railway, and even if parts of it are functional, half of it runs along the Chinese border. Russia is going to have a hard time bringing soldiers and supplies across Siberia, if it can at all. No matter how poorly developed either army is, superior numbers would logically win the day.

Never mind that Russia is almost entirely blockaded, at war with both Austria and the Ottomans, and has the most debt out of all of us.

Are we really bringing this up again?

Sure, it was stupid. Yes, Pasta made a mistake, yes, everyone acknowledged it, but shit, do we really have to rehash this every day? Like, every single day? Mistakes were made. People admitted to those mistakes. It's over.

How do you think Pasta feels that he made a mistake and people keep bringing it up at every opportunity?

I wasn't the one to bring it up. Did you skip past the post I was responding to? If you feel the need to be the guardian of Pasta's feelings, get upset at bigscreech.
