With a few keystrokes on his phone, the message was sent, and Oliver took a break for a moment. They were on the clock now, and it felt weird for a moment. They had all decided to fight for him, to go up to the moon, put their lives on the line, just to give him a fighting chance at survival. That was something powerful, and it meant something to him. He wouldn't forget this if he lived, not ever, resolving to make it up to all of them however he could. Nodding over at Bonnie he said, "Let's go then, not a second to spare and all." Starting over to the lab, he gave a goodbye smile at Tempest before saying, "If you don't have anything better to do, I'd love to um... have you around." He said awkwardly, before tacking on, "I mean, I'm sure you'd be able to help program the LMD and uh... stuff."

Hurrying off, he felt his face go red, what the hell was that about? It was a stupid selfish thought, he didn't even really know how he felt about Tempest for god's sake. For all he knew, he could be dead in a few hours, and he just said something like that to somebody who'd have to survive the aftermath of his death, should it happen. He felt gross and bad now, on top of the endless amount of stress, fear, anger, and thesaurus worth of negative emotions he was going through. Stepping into the lab, a part of him didn't want Tempest to follow, but another still badly did. He was a mess, and had to get things in order before the conflict commenced. Looking at Sparky, he started to take off the protective suit, so they'd be able to get a DNA sample off of him.

Location:Arthur's room -> The Galley

With Andy at his side, Arthur felt a kind of peace, as if the sadness in him had subsided in a way, still there, but no longer tumultuous. He felt like he could function now, without balling his eyes out or screaming at the first person that looked at him. As they made their way into the Galley, Arthur saw Rebecca, the daughter of the monster that killed his friend, and his face twitched for a moment, almost wanting to sneer at her. He knew he couldn't hold her responsible for the actions of her godly parent, but gods, it was hard to be around her right now.

It felt odd, her asking what she could do for them. Nothing could be done, but the fact that she at least wanted to help made things a little better. But, as she broke the tension with that almost horrifying piece of trivia, Arthur actually laughed. It was completely unexpected, but the randomness of it hit him in just the right way. Exhaling he shrugged and said, "I just... need time I think." He couldn't go back to studying now, he wouldn't be able to focus, "I don't want to mess around with the... dead right now." Saying that word made him uncomfortable, but he wanted to be clear with Rebecca.

"Oh come now, I'm far from ha-" She started to say, as she blinked, and let the flames from her eyes dissipate, only to be cut short as Runa knocked her the fuck out. As she slipped into unconsciousness, a juxtaposition of pride and unyielding rage overtook her. She liked this new girl, even as the world turned into an inky blackness, she resolved to have as much fun as she could with her. Her body hit the floor, rag dolling in the middle of the gift shop aisle.

Soon though, her mind was overtaken with a vision, where she was sitting in some throne room. In front of her sat a person who's visage was deeply troubling, half beautiful girl, half decrepit corpse. Staring at her for awhile, she cocked her head. It'd been awhile since she saw anybody properly, but she hoped that that wasn't how humans looked anymore. Thinking for a moment, it seemed like that might be Hel, but she'd need to research to be sure. Off in the corner, was a cell, and a shadowy figure in there, seemingly imprisoned. Stepping towards it, she recognized the imprisoned figure as the God of Love himself, Baldur. She was about to say something to him, but she drifted back towards consciousness before she had the chance. Her eye lids opening as she looked up towards the ceiling, she said, "Interesting... Very interesting." Her head pounding with pain from the crack she got on her head.

Nodding at Cass, he got what he had to do, and with Tempest's help, he knew he'd be able to do it. Her words cut deep to him, the notion of being with him to the end was melancholic. She cared about him, and knowing that gave him the kind of strength he needed to move forward. Taking his phone, he exhaled, and went to work. He'd reached out to the ship twice now, so he was confident he could get back to send a message. Queuing up a message to be sent from a SHIELD relay node in Cardiff, it read
"NOT ANOTHER HUMAN DIES. MEET AT ATTILAN, WE'LL END THIS THERE."
Putting his phone back in his pocket, he exhaled. That hopefully put an end to his assault. "It's ready to fire when you give the word." He said, looking at Cass resolutely.

"The atmosphere on the Moon is permeated with Terrigen Mist, a stealth suit will put me at risk with that." He pointed out. He wasn't opposed to it, but if he cocooned again, his death might as well be assured. The plan outside of that, seemed doable, if luck was on their side, even though it quite obviously wasn't. Facing down the mad titan scared him, but right about now, he wanted to fuck him up, and the best way to make sure he could do that would be surviving to tomorrow. A time would come for revenge, but now was the time to survive, and it would take everyone trying their hardest to have a chance at that.

Scarfing food down her throat as soon as it was available, Elizabeth said, to nobody in particular, "Blimey, I haven't had food this good in months" She said, food still in her mouth. Sure, it was bad manners for her to talk with her mouth full, but with a table full of people that, by this point in their lives, either loved her or hated her, she didn't care much about that. What did pique her interest though, was the notion of being taught wandless magic. Quite frankly, it sounded hard, but she had a penchant for dueling, and she could see it being a massive boon, since she'd still be able to fight if disarmed. Plus, just being able to do magic without going to the trouble of pulling out her wand sounded plenty convenient.

One thing that did bother her, however, and that was Liz not getting her vegetarian food. Honestly, she was surprised the school wouldn't accommodate people like that, but she was gonna help her out as best she could. "Oi, that's rubbish, lemme give ye' a hand. Cibufors!" She quietly said, waving her wand, turning some of the potatoes on her own plate into naan, and passing it over to her, "You and me'll write a very strongly worded letter to the 'eadmaster about this, believe you me." After that, she proceeded to stuff her own mouth some more, apparently having an all consuming pit in place of a stomach.

Elizabeth smiled at Peter, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy, a rarity for somebody their age. She nodded, and said, "He's a really cool guy, if you ever get to meet him." She was curious though, turning her head a bit, she asked, "Do you knew Guin in High school? What was that like?" She didn't know the bride that well, but learning about her high school misadventures seemed like it could be interesting, that ewas until, Guin absolutely exploded. She'd never realized the woman had a temper, but hell, it was an impressive one. Clearing her throat, she said, "Actually um, hold that thought."

Following over to the amassing group of super heroes, she kept herself towards the back, besides her lack of experience compared to the rest of them, she knew that Magneto had control over metal, and she very much didn't want her shiny new arm ripped off. Glancing around the room, she quickly understood why Magneto was such an effective terrorist, the modern world has a lot of metal in it, all of which could be weaponized against them. If she were better, she'd try to remedy that situation, but that seemed like it would be ineffective at best. As Guin launched in at him, she kept her mouth shut this wasn't her fight, after all.

Arthur held her tight, it felt like she was the only fixture in his life at this point, and even still, he'd only recently met her. Still, things felt alright in her arms, and that was something he needed right now. None of this was okay, but he was able to forget that for a few moments that the world was like this. Standing up, and bringing Andy up along with him, he rested his head on her shoulder. "Thank you Andy. I've got your back, always." He meant it too, by everything he stood for, he would never allow Andy to come to harm, he'd sooner die than lose another he loved.

Pulling away from her, he said, albeit a little numbly, "Let's get back to the others, they have to be worried about us." He smiled at her, trying to find some peace in where they were now. A part of him wondered if they had to go on quests after this, or if they could end things after this, live out life at camp, and stay safe. A retirement like that sounded nice to him, he wanted people around him to stop being in danger, and he wanted to be able to relax for awhile. Before he stepped out of the room though, he slipped his hand over hers, and took her hand in his. He gave her a slight smile. He didn't want to be away from her right now, it felt safe when they were together.

Fresh meat was in town, that's what Beth had heard, and far be it for her to not go have as much fun with that as possible. It wasn't every day that somebody new showed up after all, and she knew exactly where they'd be heading. She'd long since learned how to navigate the halls of this hotel, after the near millennia of walking them, she could even do it without her blindfold. Making her way down to the shop, she couldn't help but smile, it was hard to keep thing interesting in the afterlife, same thing day in and day out, it drove an old girl mad, but new things helped with that.

The gift shop may be big, but she had a very specific set of skills, one of which particularly helped her find people where it would normally be difficult. Sending out a ping, she could sense that there was a person who felt differently than anybody she'd met before. Making her way towards her, she could sense that she was trying out a weapon. "Careful with that, you'll put your eye out, trust me, I would know." Beth said, stepping out into the aisle, and lifting up her blindfold, to reveal burning flames where her eyes used to be, a wide grin on her face. She hoped she didn't scare the girl too much, but she'd been waiting for a chance to do that for a long time.

Oliver watched them talk as the director and everyone was caught up to speed, talking about him and what to do, he cleared his throat and said, "The way I see it, and forgive me if this is breaking the chain here, but I'm feeling pretty involved. What we do next is dependent on one thing, and one thing alone." He looked over at Dr. Strange and said, "Doctor, or anybody here, is there any way to evacuate the city? Because if not, we need to move." He crossed his arms, visibly uncomfortable with the line of thought he was going down, "That monster, he razed Cardiff, my home is in flames, and I won't let another city burn for me. As long as I stay here, hundred of thousands are at risk." His voice was clearly emotional, but it was how he felt. He wouldn't let this happen, he couldn't.

Looking down at his phone, he wanted to see if the base could withstand a hit like what was happening on the other side of the world, but it seemed iffy. While he was there, he checked in on his home, to see it was still burning, and Captain Britain injured. Biting his lip, he looked around, "Every second I stay here, more will die. Now if we can fight this off, I'm all for it, but I just.... I don't want people to die because of me." He looked back at them all,"If we can't do that, we can't let Thanos take the fight here. We just can't." He voice broke a bit at the end.

He looked over to Tempest, and stepped towards her. Of them all, he felt closest to her. He wanted to say something, but now didn't feel like the time, and even then, he didn't know what he could say. Meeting her eyes for a moment, he forced himself to smile. He wanted this all to be alright, but he didn't know that it would be. All he could do, was act as if they could make it through this. "Thank you." That was all he managed to say for a moment. She had grabbed his hand, spoken to him and brought him out of his state. Goose may have dragged him physically, but before she had spoken to him, he felt like he was drowning; her words pulled him up. "I need to do what I can to make it through this for now, and... I just want you to understand how much you've helped with that." He quietly said to her. He'd talk more later, but if there wasn't a later, he had to tell her that.

Switching into her robes, Eliza gave her cat one more pet on the head, and walked back into the common room. Looking around, she didn't feel much like talking to anybody here, not especially getting along with any of them. She supposed she could try to talk to Paige, but she'd had enough of that for the day, she thought. Instead, she might as well get a move on and head off to the Great Hall, she had some thinking to do anyway, given the recent events that had come to pass. This was not at all anything she was expecting for this year, but hell if she was going to reject it because of that.

It seemed almost like everything she could ever want, the ability to do good without having to listen to the Ministry and faff about as an Auror. It seemed like they might be able to act with a degree of autonomy that anybody fighting for true Justice needed; it was impossible to stop evil when you had to dot your i's and cross your t's, after all. Still, she wasn't naive, she saw that this would turn her into a child soldier, technically speaking, and that merited recognition. But she wasn't a child really, not anymore, she hadn't been for quite some time.
