As Rebecca queried for their star signs, a thought crossed Arthur's head. Were star signs actually relevant now? He'd admit, he had no idea what his own was. He didn't want to start turning to faith in that way to get him through things, but if it was somehow possible to glimpse the future through something like that, he'd be willing to try it. He needed some certainty in his life right now, and if star signs or fortune telling could get him that, he'd take it. Pausing for a moment, he said, "The Twelfth of September, I'm not sure what that makes me though." He admitted, turning away from the horizon and looking at them.

He wasn't particularly hungry still, mostly not wanting to eat after everything they'd been through today. Walking towards the group though, he tried to get himself to not go all lone wolf on them. He wanted to ignore all of them and escape, but he new that wouldn't be healthy or good, especially if he ended up actually leaving them all at some point. He'd need to get self sufficient, and if monsters were going to be hunting him, he wouldn't be able to be that in the state he was in. Self defense was the most important thing for him to master, and he knew that the people here could get him there.

Beth had to keep herself from rolling her eyes. Prophetic visions didn't tend to come with evidence, but that didn't mean she shouldn't be taken on her word, "Well, I did this." She started to say, reaching out and bringing out the runes she had drawn, "I wasn't sure if my vision was a dream or not, so I used some magic to confirm." She slid the paper across the table to Lief. She may be a daughter of Loki, but she didn't make a habit of lying to people in power about serious matters. This wasn't her kind of prank, and she hoped that the Thanes weren't stupid enough to think that it was.

Crossing her arms she continued to say, "I get if you don't want to believe me, I'm making a big claim here." She conceded, "But consider this: If I'm right, and you do nothing, you're part of the reason the world ends." She knew that that was an aggressive argumentation strategy, but it was required here. If she was right, and they did nothing, countless would die, their godly parents included. Guilt, she found, was an incredibly effective motivator, and there wasn't much that could make a person feel guiltier than implying that they'd be responsible for death on a scale hitherto undreamt of.

As they entered the residence of Captain America, a look of relief crossed Oliver's face, clearly glad that they wouldn't have to showdown with the super soldier. Scanning around the room he nodded when his attention was directed towards the laptop. Nodding, he sat down in front of it and said, "Hey guys, who thinks his laptop password is the same as his WiFi?" He asked playfully, typing away at the keyboard, before it opened up, revealing a picture of FDR and his desktop. Getting to work, he started digging. Particularly of note, he saw that there was a login to the Avengers' database, and some credentials for him to... appropriate.

Never one to pass up a good thing, he copied them down to his phone, and started his search. Shortly after however, the computer blue screened and he cursed. "God damn it. BSOD, if we want to gain anything from this I won't be able to get it now." Giving a huff, he turned his attention to Cap's phone and face palmed. "And the old man can't keep a charge on his damn phone. So shit." He said, pocketing the device. He'd be able to charge it at some point though, and hopefully it would have useful information when he did. "I might be able to get more info later, but as it stands now, we're shit out of luck."

Elizabeth started to calm down as more people filed into the Danger room, and as they did her face turned bright red. She didn't mean to have run away like that, but it was more of an instinctual response than anything else. Bugs grossed her out, and bugs that were gigantic terrified her more than anybody could possibly describe. She averted her eyes from the group for a moment, before saying, "S-sorry about that. I just.. got scared." She hated running from problems, it wasn't the type of person she wanted to be, but some things just took her over and compelled her to act. "I promise not to let that happen again, is everyone alright?" She asked, looking over all who entered.

Standing up from her near fetal position, she inhaled, and let out a deep sigh. As least this room was spacious enough for her to look around and feel safe. She wasn't claustrophobic by any means, but open spaces were better than tight and confined ones for calming down. She thought that perhaps what had triggered such a strong emotional response might have been the fact that those mosquitoes really were a cross of two of her biggest fears, needles and bugs. The idea of being pierced by one of them and having her blood sucked out sent a kind of chill through her that she hadn't quite experienced before. Hopefully then, this would not be a repeated event, and she could leave this problem behind her.

Beth turned her head as she was poked, that being more of an instinctual thing than anything else, to face those talking to you. It didn't very much matter, as she was physically incapable of eye contact, but it made people more uncomfortable to have somebody looking away from them and talking than facing them and talking with their eyes shut. Beth had, luckily, gotten very good at recognizing voices, and knew Miss Bautista was the one prodding for her attention. Dismounting the elevator, she teasingly said, "Sounds like you're going soft and calling it kindness." In reality, she knew there was a deep difference between those two things, but she'd be damned if she just handed advice out.

"While I'd love to join you, I'm sure with this new leaf you're turning over you'd just be puppies and rainbows to have dinner with, the world is unfortunately ending, and the Thanes may care about that." She said matter-of-factly, but did continue to say, "Save me a seat though, I'll be back over shortly." And with that, she broke off from Dalisy, and headed towards the Thane's table. Not too much of a fan on the Americans, she opted to talk to Leif Erikson, "I've received a vision, Ragnarok is coming, Hel has captured Baldur in Eljudnir, you might want to do something about that." She dryly remarked.

Arthur exhaled knowing he'd have to be on watch soon. Hopefully that would be a lot more relaxed than what they just went through, he didn't want things to constantly be on fire all the time. There were two ways he could have taken to this whole demigod business, either swinging or flailing, and ever since he was knocked down, it felt like he was flailing horribly and he had no idea how to stop. Looking out over the edge of the Argo III, he rested his hands on the rail, trying to relax and center his mind on the horizon, putting himself anywhere but here. He didn't think he was going to run away, but with each passing moment, it felt like that was what he wanted to do.

Turning back to look at the people around him, he at least found comfort in the knowledge that they weren't horrible people. It seemed like they just took to all this so much better than he did, somehow able to weather the storm of misery and strike that battered them constantly. It was like a Stockholm syndrome, maybe, when you're a demigod long enough, you stop seeing all the bad things, and only pay attention to the good ones. That made sense to him, but he didn't know if he wanted to break like that. He wanted to be happy not in spite of bad circumstances, but in absence of them.

As they flew, Oliver dug through more of what he found, getting transcriptions and readable copies of audio files, as to not arouse suspicion of what he was doing. Asking around the jet for a pair of headphones would doubtlessly raise questions after all. He pursed his lips, a bit of understanding for Hill's actions coming to him. He got it, he really did, the world was being a new, unknown, and dangerous place, and people in power hated that. The fundamental aspect of the state is its desire for control, the problem is when that reaches too far. They couldn't be expected to hand over everything to S.H.I.E.L.D due to the circumstances the world found it in though, and that's where he disagreed with Hiil's actions.

As they landed, Oliver got to work on a more pressing task. Typing away at his keyboard, he laughed for a moment. Not wanting to give away too much of what he was doing though, he just focused on typing, and thinking. Time wasn't something he had much of, but he didn't wanna push his luck and try to use his speed to type faster, the risk just wasn't worth it. Giving a mild sigh of exasperation, he finished up, secure in the knowledge that he at least tried to do some good. Closing up his laptop he said, shaking his head, "If Cap is in there, he doesn't have any kind of surveillance in his apartment, we're going in dark." He said, gathering up his stuff and dismounting the Quinjet.

As they gathered around, ready to start the game, Elizabeth found herself smiling. This would be exciting, she thought. She'd been starting to get bored with a "normal" life of DnD and gardening, so this was just what she needed, a game tailored to adventure. Death, in her mind, wasn't particularly a possibility given the regular invincibility of youth and the powers she had. That was, up until the first card was pulled. She found screaming, overtaken by fear. Clutching herself, she closed her eyes, paralyzed at the swarm of insects before her. She hated bugs so fucking much, and these were worse than anything she'd seen before.

Without really thinking, she knew she was given a place to run, and that was exactly what she was going to do. She couldn't be around these, their eyes, they skin it all squicked her out too much. So her feet moved her towards the Danger Room, moving faster than she knew she was able, her heart almost pounding out of her chest. She felt sick, and her skin was clammy, as she threw herself into the room, covering her head and trying to keep herself from crying. This was some fresh hell straight out of a nightmare, and it threw her off balance in a really terrible way. As she breathed, she tried to calm herself down, but kept finding her hands shaking uncontrollably.

As the last of the monsters were vanquished, Arthur relaxed, and put his knife away. Smiling at Andy, he said, "Um, thanks." he didn't know how he felt about being complemented for his skills with a weapon that he didn't want to have to wield. He was happy that he could protect himself and others, but the knowledge that his existence hinged on that fact soured it. He felt complicated right now, a feeling that had started when he got here, and just hadn't found a way to stop itself. He had a desperate want for some kind of normalcy, but everyday that just seemed to get further and further away.

Climbing aboard the ship, Arthur was looking forward to another bit of relaxation, this all had really stressed him out, and he just wanted things to be calm for all of five minutes. He was concerned about Dem, but honestly, being around him might put him in a bit of a panic attack. It reminded him of when he had knocked Andy out of the tree and broke her arm, and he didn't want to think about that right now. Instead, he hung out around the top deck, waiting for them to set off again. Hopefully the wind in his hair and the gentle sway of travel would keep him calm enough.

As the bell Rang, Elizabeth cracked her gingers and said, "Dinner denotes dastardly diatribes directed down, Thanes that think they they themselves," She paused for a moment, thinking for a way to continue her alliterative spree as she walked towards the dining hall, "Say something significant, shall see some sad surprise." Linguistics were very much her strong suit, and she mostly liked to come up with ways to say things in such a way to pass the time. If there was one constant thing in her life, it was that, though the words may change, language always existed in one form or another.

One of the advantages of being blind was that those who didn't know her, and were particularly sappy, would often let her go first in crowded spaces, thinking she couldn't defend herself as well as the others. Squeezing her way into an elevator, she leaned against the wall, and waited for it to bring her up to the hall. She wasn't particularly hungry, she was more focused on just getting this news to the thanes. She proffered her own cooking to the dining hall's food, something about making something and getting to taste that effort just meant a lot to her.
