Arthur had to stifle a giggle at Andy's arthur, but merely shook his head. there were better ways to deal with people than abject violence, as fun as something like that could be. He'd figure out how to deal with Cassian later, watching him talk to Mads, he was surprised that he'd gotten this far in life with all his teeth still in his mouth. As Andy dragged him away, he shot a parting smile at Cassian, before turning away and not sparing him another glance. People like him wanted attention, and he was going to give him as little as possible, he'd have to earn it to get it from him.

As they entered the woods, Arthur kept holding Andy's hand, and gave her a hug once they were out of sight of the others, "That Cassian's terrible", he whispered, before eyeing Mads and Nancy. He didn't like the thought of following people, but they were all friends-ish, so he had to assume that it wouldn't be the end of the world if they noticed them. Other than that one comment though, he kept quiet. He didn't want to broadcast the fact that they were there by any means, and the more that he talked, they more likely that they'd end up being heard.

Oliver's number one focus besides the impending confrontation that they'd have to go through was to keep his damn mouth shut. He couldn't do an American accent for the life of him, and the paranoid part of his brain was convinced that a Welsh in the White House would raise too many eyebrows. The security part of his brain though, was considering writing up a report later to submit the government on how to prevent people with less pure intentions from pulling this off, but he wasn't convinced that they wouldn't lock him up for the sheer audacity, given the fact that they may at this point be rabid to get rid of him in one way or another.

As Captain Rogers approached and entered the Oval Office, Oliver was ready to move. The last fight with the Skrulls he used tricks he couldn't rely on here and once they were in the Oval, he'd need to stay there, no floor phasing parlor tricks. In truth, he was a little worried about getting through this unscathed, close up combat wasn't something he knew too much about, he was dependent on disorienting his targets and finishing things quickly, something he didn't think could be pulled off here. In short, Oliver was nervous, but ready to finally start to get this Skrull invasion over with, hoping to find some form of catharsis in the ensuing bloodshed.

Oliver frowned at the noises coming from the room, before exhaling, and noticing that Kwassi was talking to him. Oliver felt bad for what was going on, like it was his fault in a way. He was there when Niah's leg was mangled, and all the superpowers in the world didn't stop it from happening. Maybe if he weren't an emotional wreck at the time, or if he was just better at acting like a regular human in general, he could have prevented this from happening. But instead of expositing his complex feelings on the matter to Kwassi, he shrugged and said, "I'd rather the next time a demon comes after us, I can get rid of it myself, so... trying to pick up on the words to facilitate that." before smiling at him and adding, "And I wanna make sure Niah's okay, she's a part of the team after all, right?"

If there was one thing Oliver hated, it was not knowing what was going to happen next. Not being able to physically intervene and stop things from happening? He was used to that. That was most of his life before he turned out to be the son of an intergalactic space tyrant, but the feeling of knowing that something bad was happening and not knowing where to go next, that was hell. He felt that a bit with the skrull invasion, but he at least had been taking steps to understand and prepare for the coming threat. Here, unless he could become a master of demonology and medicine within the hour, there wasn't much he could do. Or at least, nothing he could do besides waiting and hoping. Turning his head towards Raynor, a small part of him realized that he couldn't remember ever saying anything to a Raynor that wasn't a skrull, or at least, he didn't know when Raynor was replaced, so for all he knew, they'd never spoken, and so he asked,"Soooooo.... They got demons on Asgard?" That felt like a better conversation starter than "Hey, I almost killed your girlfriend and mother to your unborn child while you were gone, neat, huh?" so it was what he went with in the face of having no idea what to say.

Andy really was a lot more direct in her disdain than Arthur was, but he wasn't about to critique her for that; different styles for different people. As he watched Cassian though, and his reaction, Arthur felt something similar to fear rise through him. Maybe it was that there were too many unknowns about Cassian, or that fact that he did not at all expect him to control himself that well, but he turned his head a bit as he looked up at him. Maybe trading social punches with a spawn of the God of Madness wasn't the best plan for his long term mental health.

Instead of running though, he smiled, and decided to try to be a little friendlier. "Well, now that we're introduced, I'm still not clear on what you want." He noted, giving a bit of a confused look at him. Cassian seemed like the the type of person who desperately wanted people to think that he was important, or at the very least needed attention. So, he figured he'd take actions to deprive him of that, "If that's all-" He was about to say, before a camper tripped and fell in front of him, before yelling at him. He exhaled, more annoyed than anything, but he held his tongue. As people started to flock over, he nodded, saying, "Some people don't know how to look where they're walking, it's fine."

As Mar-vell spoke about the Flerken, he started to be in awe of them. Growing that fast and being as terrifying as they were, he was surprised the universe wasn't run by the adorable monsters. He was glad they had a space doctor to help with the birthing process, maybe they could get through this without making too much of a mess. As the president walked in and grabbed salt, and ran back out, his head turned. He had no idea what that was for, but he didn't get this far in life by ignoring patently weird things such as that, so he joined the growing crowd, and heading into the Quinjet.

Entering the Medbay, he inspected the scene in front of him and gave an incredibly concerned look towards Niah, before hearing a flurry of things. Firstly, that Niah's leg was getting worse and that she was possessed?. On any other day, he wouldn't have believed it, but having just fought a demon bear, he made the connection well enough. Additionally, she wanted the room clear, and he was willing to leave, but he piped up, standing just at the edge of the bay. He was about to offer some form of assistance, before the exorcism commenced. He started to step out, but paused, and listened to the words. He couldn't get all of them, but he was pretty sure he could do half an exorcism now. Still, this wasn't anywhere he wanted to be at the moment, and he waited quietly outside as the literal demon was dealt with.

As Cassian smirked at Arthur, he felt a twinge of his old life. The way he was saying things, the self-assuredness, it was things he used to have, and remnants were still in here. Politics, thinking of ways to get people to do what he wanted, thinking he was better than other people. But now, he felt like trying to be better was a bit like being the tallest dwarf, the very existence of gods made them that much lesser. Instead of attempting to react directly, Arthur collected himself, and smiled, "Apologies, my voice was quiet so Apollo wouldn't hear, not you. Don't worry, not everything is about you."

That dig was maybe a bit mean, but he was getting a bad vibe from Cassian, and he was sure he could take it. "Sorry, I don't think we've met, who are you again? I'm Arthur, and this is Andy." He said, looking up at the boy, and straightening himself. Cassian was practically looming over him, but he didn't let that get to him. "It's neat how you know what's going on in Zeke's head, but I'm sure he'll be fine." Arthur didn't know Zeke too well, but he always seemed to be able to take care of himself. Exhaling, he felt good about himself, confident for the first time in awhile, and not at all put off by this new kid.

Oli nodded at Laura, he had hoped that that would be the case, being an Avenger and managing a farm sounded borderline impossible, so he was happy that she was proficient. The last thing he wanted was to explain to the team that he accidentally made scrambled flerken eggs, least of all to Goose. He had the sneaking suspicion that he'd find cat piss in his room until the day he died if that had happened. Running off to the barn to get towels, he returned just as the team got back to the homestead. Dropping off the towels in the room, he said, "Thank you so much for your help here." to Laura, before going out to meet the team.

Greeting Matt, he waved and said, "Everyone got in safe, Laura's delivering them at the moment, how ever long the eggs take to hatch and what we'll need to do to keep them safe after that is beyond me." Oliver explained. "They'll be in the laundry room, unless Laura has a better place for them. I'm sure between whatever equipment they use for normal eggs, and all of us, we'll be able to get something together to help them along the way." The only part that really worried him was whether or not the momma flerken would be able to help them still, or if they'd be too preoccupied with caring for their spawn.

Arthur had to keep himself from glaring at the God of The Sun. He didn't quite think he hated the gods, but there was a kind rage brimming within him towards them. He didn't even know if it would be fair to hate them for the mere fact that they were deities. A kind of cosmic racism felt wrong, but at the same time, they were the things who could wipe him off the face of the Earth with a thought, so apprehension towards them still felt meritied. In any case, he didn't want it to be obvious, lest he be turned into a worm.

He crossed his arms whispered back to ANdy, "I don't know, but I don't want anything to do with it." He was trying not to sound scared, but his voice came off as monotone and flat. As he stepped off to be alone with Nancy, Arthur noticeably relaxed. It sucked that these gods would be a regular part of his life from now on, most people got to live their entirety of their lives and not even know they were real, but now they would randomly show up at what was practically his front doorstep, and he couldn't do anything about it. If he left,m he might be less likely to run into them, but then monsters would surely find him, and besides, he liked it at camp, and really didn't want to leave.

Oliver took a breath for a moment as he petted Fluffy's head, before nodding at Laura, "Well, I mean." He paused, looking for words, "We didn't expect the Flerken to be pregnant, but that's been resolved viz a vis me." He explained, gesturing to himself, "They're going to be coming back soon with a male one." He smiled at Laura, having a bit of difficulty imagining what it was like being a civilian married to an Avenger. He didn't know if this kind of insanity was the norm, or if pregnant cat aliens pushed the line of that at all. As the cats continued to lay eggs, Oliver hesitated.

"To be clear though, animal husbandry or uh... alien? Alien husbandry isn't exactly my forte." That seemed like the right name for it, he though, as animals were technically a kingdom of living organisms on Earth, so, technically speaking, aliens couldn't be animals. That made sense to him at least. "I'm really sorry to make a mess of your towels, but if you have any better ideas for how to care for these fuzzy beasts, I'd love to hear them." He didn't want to put that on Laura per say, but he was a bit out of his depth on this one, and he didn't expect Dr. Larson to be back for at least half an hour.

Arthur smiled as they made their pact. He didn't think it would be enforceable if Chiron or anybody wanted to oppose it, but the thought of them at least trying to stay together. However, his gratefulness for this newfound arrangement was dwarfed by his concern that the weather was suddenly changing. This probably wasn't good, even if it gave them a welcome break from the chill. He nodded at Andy, before saying, "Sorry we didn't get to finish the snowman, but yeah, we should see what's going on." Whatever had come, he had a bad feeling about it.

Walking with Andy towards the Pavillion, Arthur did let himself relish the change of weather. He disliked the snow so much that this slight break from the torrent of snow and cold that had been attacking them was most welcome. His hair was wet with the snow that had fallen on him turning to water, and he kind of shook his head a bit, doing what he could to make himself semi dry and presentable. Entering the pavillion, he looked on to see Apollo, and immediately shrunk back. He wasn't going anywhere near a god, and he really didn't want Andy to approach him either. He still felt scared of them, with all the power they help, and all of their apathy for human life.
