Arthur nodded at Mads, he didn't know if he could get an audience with his dad, but hell if he wasn't going to try. The man had been absent his entire life, if he denied Arthur one conversation that was could help save his friend from suffering in his own domain, he wasn't worthy of being called a dad. Arthur would call on his dad, and he if was ignored, he'd keep calling over and over again until he got some attention. Failing that, he would personally find a way to the afterlife and sit down in front of the god himself. He would not be ignored in this matter.

As Andy let go of Arthur, he blushed a little at the way that threw him off. He liked being in her embrace, it made him feel as safe as he hoped it made her feel. But he understood why he couldn't monopolize it, especially now with how little time they might have with Mads. At Mads' suggestion, he nodded, but then bit his lip and asked, "Could you um... Make two of those for Andy and me too?" He looked over at Andy, hoping it was okay he just asked for that.

Oli was taking the time he had right now to stretch, still living down the shame of his performance towards the end of the Captain America encounter. He had googled a bit about how to properly do so, and then read several dozen articles to make sure he was totally up on all the modern tactics to ensure a muscle pull was a statistical impossibility. He was as prepared as any person could possibly be, or at least, as far as the narrow range of pulled muscles was concerned. Cracking his knuckles, he looked around at his fellow agents, ready for the culmination of a half year's worth of paranoia.

Oli's gaze lingered for a moment on Amelia, a team member he still knew very little about. She was a wild card for sure, fun as all hell, but also wanting to perform a barrel roll on Air Force One was just... he didn't have a good word for it. He didn't want to cross her, and he was glad to have her help, but he didn't like things that he couldn't predict, especially going into encounters where the world was at stake. As Ricky opened the door, Oli turned to watch, only to see that the cleaning staff had weapons trained on them. If he was jumpier, he might have gone to try to disarm them all, but instead, he watched one of them reveal themselves to be Maria, and Oli silently made a mental note to get his hands on whatever tech they were using to cloak their face. He still wasn't convinced they were safe, but as Niah rolled forward and grabbed Maria's hand, he smiled. They'd know soon enough if they were skrulls now, and he resolved to thank Niah when this was all done. His fears were further assuaged as their fluffy little skrull detector hopped into Flynn's arms, leading to him relaxing a bit as the tensions cooled.

Arthur nodded, years would be a lot of time to have to wait for her to come back, assuming she didn't end up dying multiple times in the pit. It wasn't a viable strategy, even it it did remove some of the gravity of her potential death, the best option still would be to live in a world where she got to live. As such, they needed to be open to doors of death, wherever they were. That meant it would be best to actually know where they are, and he knew exactly where he could go to find that information. He'd have to have his first real face to face with his... sire.

Arthur piped up and said, "I'll try to make a sacrifice to Hades and get a conversation with him. I might be able to get him to point me in the direction of where the doors will be." Anything he could do to help, he would. He had enough of his friends dying, and if it meant he had to interact with a god to keep them safe, so be it. Besides, he figured that his own parent would be the safest of gods to talk to, hoping that filicide would be something that the deities shied away from. "Let's hope he answers and gives us something useful to work with, yeah?"

Oliver stood still for a moment, waiting for the pain in his leg to dissipate, and nodded at Bonnie. "Yeah, you got me. I'm still not used to field work, okay?" He said, a bit of playful annoyance in his voice as he tried to laugh it off. It was humiliating enough that this happened, but he was at least thankful it was after the big confrontation. As the big orange Flerken hopped in, his watched in a kind of amazed horror as the Skrull were pulled inside the maw of Goose. A part of him was deeply terrified of the cat, and the other half wanted to give it all the pets in the world. This was the truest tragedy in the world, for a cat-shaped thing to be so cute, and yet so absolutely monstrous in ways words failed to adequately describe.

Rubbing his leg, he exhaled at the news of the alien ship. A part of him was worried that somehow, the kree might have been summoned, and that Earth was about to become the new battleground for their war. He head to assume it was something else though, and this was just a very bad, no good kind of day. A part of him was worried that he wasn't as phased at the mass death as he would have been a few months ago, but after the raid of his hometown and his mother's cancer, a part of him was still numb to tragedy. He was working on resolving that, but it would be awhile before he could feel again.

Arthur's eyes widened, and a small part of his brain made an interesting realization. He'd considered monsters as inhuman beasts that wanted them all dead, but the existence of lycanthropes constituted an interesting exception. Madalyne obviously didn't want to kill him, and had been human, or at least demigod, before. He exhaled, considering if he had to change his worldview a little bit. He did ask a question though, after hearing her out, "I'm a little confused though, if you're a monster, won't you reform and come back after? This seems like a solution to our problem, or it makes it better kinda..."

He didn't know how long it took to reform though, and he still didn't want his friend to die, so he nodded and said, "I'll remember that though, now we know where to look for you if we open the Doors of Death, right?" He didn't know everything about the afterlife, but he assumed if demigods could come back through them, so could monsters. He squeezed Andy's hand in a way to try to comfort her, but he knew that this would be hard for her, and she was going to be scared. The most he could do was be there for her as long as he could, before they were seperated on this journey.

Oli grimaced when he was given the order to hide bodies. In a million million permutations of his life, he never would anticipated having to hide a body inside the White House. Getting multiple STEM degrees led him to the assumption that this would be well outside the scope of his anticipated duties in any career path he might choose to follow, but life had a way of surprising people, he guessed. Exhalling as he ran through any memories he might have of White House schematics, nothing much came to mind of anywhere inside to disappear corpses.

Exhaling he got a disgusting, but absolutely viable idea. Goose could, and maybe even would eat bodies if presented, and he knew that the not-a-cat had decided to tag along for the treasonous trip. All he had to do now was execute the plan, and bring the bodies over. Placing a hand on one of the bodies though, he felt the most sickening sense of vertigo, and couldn't go forward with touching the fallen. Ripping his hand away, he pivoted and decided to bring Goose over himself, rather than drag bodies across the White House Lawn. Turning to speed out the window, he felt his leg seize up, and he let out a wince. As lame as it was, he seemed to have pulled a muscle, and couldn't run at the moment. Exhaling a sigh of exhaustion, and said, "In short Bonnie, no. No I cannot." a pathetic twinge in his voice.

Arthur nodded towards Madsa as she asked for them to hang back to chat in private. He didn't know what she'd want, but whatever it was, he was happy to indulge her. One thing he didn't understand was the Roman politics. He vaguely knew they had some form of organizational structure that the Greeks were sorely lacking, but he had no idea what that actually looked like, or the powers that being a member of their "government" entailed. Whatever it was, it seemed fraught with intrigue and competing interests, so he might bother Nancy or Niah and try to learn more about it in the future.

As the group began to dissipate, and it was just the three of them, Arthur cocked his head at the question. He didn't know what was real anymore, but he had never suspected werewolves. "Uh, people that turn into wolves? Full moon and silver and all that stuff?" He asked, confused as to why she was asking. "Are they real? Or..." His brain then kicked in, and he realized that there was a very short list of why should could be asking, "Are you one? That's cool!" Arthur said, smiling. His friend being able to morph into a giant dog sounded amazing, and he was on board for it.

Oli didn't like the info dumping Alex was doing right now. They couldn't know who was or wasn't a skrull, and there quite simply wasn't any room for hoping that their previous confidants has been unaffected by the invading forces powers. If Oil had done that and told the team as soon as he had an inkling of the skrull attack, it could have been him replaced instead of Raynor, and that would have caused the situation to look drastically different than it did right now. As they approached the final stages of dealing with the skrulls, they just couldn't afford to make such careless moves.

Not that Oli was about to say any of those thoughts to the president of the United States of course. That would be suicide, especially for somebody like him that was literally an illegal alien. Being deported out of the country at best, or to the moon at worst did not sound particularly fun. He'd rather stay on the planet if he had a say in it, so he kept his mouth shut like the good secret service agent he was pretending to be.

Arthur took in Andy's face for awhile as they looked at each other, knowing that soon he'd be without her. He wanted to be able to remember what she looked like, because, it was a morbid thought, but he didn't know if she'd be making it back. He had no idea what he would do if that happened, but he would do everything in his power to make sure he wouldn't ever forget her. "Always." He nodded, as they walked towards the group. He cherished each moment they had together right now, taking in everything he could, and being as present in the moment as he possibly could.

Arthur smiled at Andy's sentiment. Even if they weren't physically always there for each other, they would be emotionally. As he looked Mads up and down, he had to wonder if he could have a role to play in saving her. He was the son of the God of the Underworld, surely he could force the doors open? As he thought this, terror ran down his face for a brief moment, as he recalled what happened when he tried to raise his half sister, and he shook his head, clearing out the thought. Maybe he could, but he was going to hope that that wasn't necessary. It would sting him too much to try to reach for a demigod's soul again.

Oliver was happy to see his plan of "Unfreeze the Avenger and hope they can deal with this better than I can" seemed to be working swimmingly, or at least, it seemed to be as Captain America slammed that legendary shield in the giant Skrull's face. His mood quickly damped though, as Raynor took a bad hit and fell onto the ground. He knew Asgardians were tougher by nature, but he still was worried. Starting to inch closer to Raynor to extricate him from the heart of the battle field, a lightning bolt arced through the air, directly at Bonnie. Stunned as he saw her catch it, and then subsequently end the giant, he allowed himself a smile.

Back to work, while Oli was stunned, Cass had swept in and started tending to Raynor's care. In the worst case, he thought Mar-Vell might be able to help, but this could mean Raynor would be out of commission for Geneva, which would be less than idea when talking about the possible end of the world. Oli was happy to have Alex go and try to deal with the kids, he wasn't terrible around them by any means, but Oliver hadn't exactly specced into charisma. Straightening himself out, he followed silently after Alex, acting as if he was just a secret service member at attention, keeping the president safe.
