I'm probably going to be one of the older members of this site. I've been roleplaying since Dungeons & Dragons had a Saturday morning cartoon on television. Yeah, I'm that old. I've been roleplaying online since 2001. I started in Yahoo chat rooms, and then around 2011 I was introduced to online forum roleplay. I tend to favor forum roleplay with multiple players than one-on-one games.
By this site's definition I am a Casual roleplayer as I may type anywhere from a few lines to a paragraph or two. It really depends on the game and the scene at the time. I tend to type less when my character is in a friendly conversation with another. Occasionally I may write three, four, or five paragraphs if so inspired.
I enjoy multiple settings with Modern/Slice of Life, Supernatural/Horror, Fantasy, and Superhero-themed being my faves.
Outside of roleplaying I enjoy television and movies, expanding my songs list on Spotify, and since last year, for better or worse, I've been watching a decent amount of cable news. I enjoy watching WWE, Supernatural, Arrow, The Flash, and The Daily Show. Animes I've enjoyed have been Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist, Parasyte: the Maxim, Tokyo Ghoul, and Sailor Moon (haven't seen the entire series). When it comes to music I'm mainly into Rock yet I will also listen to some Metal and Pop, and I'm a fan of 80's music.
I used to be really into comic books, but with today's prices a may just pick up the occasional graphic novel here and there. I'm more knowledgeable about Marvel characters than I am DC I believe. My favorite superhero is Spider-Man. Other characters I like are: Batman, the original New Warriors team, the original Thunderbolts team, the original Young Avengers team, and Young Justice (both the original comic & the animated series).

Originally I gender swapped Johnny Blaze into a teenaged Johnnie Blaize. Mephisto would have came to her after she had been attacked and near death where a deal would be struck leading her to become the new Ghost Rider. But then, as I was looking for an avatar for my character's civilian identity ( I like to use real photos for my characters) I came across a few images of a 13yo model that I liked and thought, what if I made Johnnie even younger? Ya know, to try to amplify the creepy and horror aspects of the character.
And though I think this is a fairly cool idea, I have no idea what I would do with the character if she got approved for the game. There are no story ideas currently floating around in my lil' brain at the moment.

1. Could a player start with a character on an alternate Earth?
Like if someone wanted to play as Val-Zod from New 52 Earth 2, the Joker from the Tangent Universe or Spider-Gwen.
Or would that be too... complicated?
2. What if one player wanted to play Kal-El and another wanted to play Val-Zod? Could both characters possibly be accepted and exist in the same world? Or would the GM decide who had the better CS?
3. Would a villain whom started out as a hero (such as Sinestro who was a Green Lantern) be allowed as a main PC?
More importantly, be mindful of the setting. This is a 'Year One' style RP. Characters like Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, Captain America, and the like have only been around for a maximum of six months and are still cutting their teeth.

So characters that you would logically associate in conjuction with a more experienced version of the character, such as Supergirl, Miles Morales' Spider-Man, Robin, and any of the Teen Titans are pretty much a guaranteed no-no for this season.
You can interact with anyone at your leisure or travel to anywhere within the multiverse (yes, multiverse), if it's within your character's means to do so.
