I’ve worked min wage jobs and I’ve done the bare minimum and have still gotten the measly ten cent raises yearly and good references from them. There really is no point, bare minimum gets you by.

I'm not really good at writing fight scenes, but I tried my best.
It felt strange to be testing himself twice in a lifetime, but all newcomers supposedly had to go through trials today. The Elder Jensaarai, in light of this, had told him there would simply be a combat test. Cyrus was fine with that. It had been a long time since he had sparred against a lightsaber user, after all.

"When you are ready Cyrus."

The Jensaarai could hide their presence well, but they did not prefer surprise attacks. Of course, they would do so if necessary, but honorable, direct combat was highly favored. Instead of a long, protracted, cat and mouse game, they would face each head on. Cyrus activated his blue lightsaber, entering an defensive stance. He wished to see how his opponent would attack, hoping formulate a plan to counter his opponent's strikes. The Elder Jensaarai took notice of this, and initiated with a dash, with a reverse grip style, swinging his purple lightsaber from his left side.

Cyrus was a bit surprised. A reverse grip was highly uncommon, and for good reason. However, opening up with a reverse grip was not really a bad idea, as it would allow for a lot of momentum to be delivered into the first strike. Cyrus quickly stepped to the side a bit to lessen the impact of the blow, and quickly deflected his opponent's blade. Before his opponent could start another attack, he swiftly performed an overhead strike, which was also swiftly blocked by his opponent.

The rest of the duel went on for a while like this. There would be brief moments where Cyrus would have an advantage, only to be pushed back, and it was the same story with his opponent. While strikes did hit from time to time, they were glancing at best, and their armor ensured they were dazed for a moment, but still largely unharmed. After about fifteen minutes, the elder Jensaarai stopped the duel, convinced Cyrus was talented enough to be called a Jensaarai Defender.

Cyrus took his place in the banquet hall, finding himself to be the second person there. The first person was a female, who he assumed was a Jedi. Those robes she wore seemed like those of the Jedi, and seeing how this was Sanctuary, it wasn't hard to come to an educated guess. Cyrus decided to greet her in a monotone voice.

"Jedi. I suppose I should congratulate you on finishing your trials."

Cyrus wasn't really sincere, but it was merely a formality. Cyrus always saw the Jedi as condescending, but it was a banquet, and he didn't wish to ruin the mood. Cyrus supposed starting his own trial on how fast he would be able to behead an arrogant Jedi, while amusing, would probably lead to him being exiled anyway.

But...I wasn't doing that...

Doesn't even have to try to be smooth, he just is

his game too strong
<Snipped quote by Zarkun>

Hmmmmm... I highly doubt anyone would do that. After all, this is a Storm Shadow Commando, and I don't think anyone would try to follow it as they... you know, don't want to copy it. But I might as well follow your lead, as it would be a more logical alternative choice for one to bring in.

Good point. But like I said, the Commando simply found it and decided to keep it as a "souvenir" so to say. He then was in a pinch and he used it. But he won't use it too often, for he'd mostly use his firearms and detonators to keep the jedi at bay. He'd just use it in case he's left with no choice.

IMO the trooper is already a highly trained individual in the art of jedi hunting. Why the inquisitor would not simply keep a relic so rare and valuable brings up other questions too.

Your trooper already is pretty formidable, I just don't see why he also needs a darksaber.

I'll have to make the Inquistor overseer soon, hopefully make that and a jedi profile today or tomorrow (though thats my limit for I don't want to get too carried away with characters).

But as for that... Idk. I mean, I want him to be tied in a little with the Clone Wars series. And really whats so wrong about him holding a darksaber? Its not like he has force powers or anything... mind if you explain a little?

And thanks.

I think it's just that it seems highly irregular for a clone to use. They probably were never trained in melee combat with a sword, as they had a firearm and rifle. That's my two cents.

Tell me if I need to change anything.
The wiki must be referring to some obscure comic book or novel. I just know that Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and every Jedi from the clone wars did not have telepathy.

They used comm-links and if they became captured they were pretty much screwed.

They could project simple concepts and emotions like: Danger! I'm over here. Help!

Even then the range couldn't be all that great since there are countless times the Jedi were searching for their lost allies.

Well I read the wiki and apparently telepathy only had a decent range if there was a strong emotional connection, but it most cases it would be short range.

I believe Luke and Leia had this goin on. Though I doubt most jedi would have this connection so...

Saesee Tiin, that guy from the clone war with the horns could use telepathy, and again, not really long range so ye your point pretty much still stands.
I would assume most of them just happened to stumble upon it. I also assumed must don't leave once they find it, so word of mouth is just moot. broadcasting its location just seems like a death wish as well...

Kinda like a luck of the draw, but I could be completely fucking wrong and stupid for saying something like this idk m8

Telepathy? Jedi don't have telepathy.

Worse still... if there was some sort of Telepathy thing going on Vader and The Emperor would be in fits laughing on the floor trying to find the strength to issue orders to the fleet to wipe out the sanctuary.

I also think it would take a bit longer to get the word out. After all, the story involves the "last of the survivors". If the sanctuary were put into play instantly entire orders would be showing up instead of the few survivors of each.

starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Telepathy

idk according to the wiki they can.

Edit:Wouldn't say it's a direct type of telepathy, nor would all jedi be able to do it.
