Becoming curious about the one man leaving so suddenly, he allowed his eyes to follow. After a moment of watching the other; he realized that the man must work here. Went to the tables, conversing with the other individuals in this tavern. Quickly, he took a mental note of the man, so he could ask about jobs later - he would need one.

Allowing his attention to go back to the other man that stayed. He noticed that the other was not completely accepting of his or Anya's approach. Taking that into consideration, he would probably leave this conversation sooner than later. He did not want to cause any trouble with anyone else or make them uncomfortable, "Those can be enjoyable," he said in a gentle voice. EveryonHe bad memories, so he understood. Personally, he was not a spring chicken, so he had a lot of memories.

Glancing over at Anya, his expression seemed to soften while splotches on his skin began to change their color to a pinkish-red. Putting his attention back to Sir Vendril, his colors seemed to fade instantly from his body, "A pleasure to meet your acquaintances, Sir Vendril. I am Ghiar," introducing himself with a gentle smile. His aura might have a calming effect.

Ghiar glanced over to Anya before putting a hand on her instinctually to comfort her before stating, "Sometimes others do not wish to share their feelings, Anya," his touch might have caused a sensation of tiredness, but he realized he was touching Anya without his gloves on. Taking his hand away quickly, he grabbed a pair of gloves from his back pocket. These gloves appeared to be regular genuine leather gloves, and he slipped them on. If anyone could detect magic, they would know that these gloves were heavily dosed with whatever magic could hold back Ghiar's powers.

Looking back to the man, he bowed in respect, "It was a pleasure to meet you, but I feel like my stay has been over welcomed," Ghair said with his usual gentle tone before excusing himself. @LiegeLord@Marmalised Junk

Ghair was not one to overstay his welcome, so he was not going to bother Sir Vendril. He did not want to make other travelers uncomfortable in the tavern, plus he needed to find a job. Finding the man who left so quickly moments before, he decided to tap him on the shoulder, "Sir, I cannot help but notice and do not wish to bother you -- do you work here by chance?" he asked before getting into the questions he wanted to ask. @Dark Light
@antiquity I believe you will settle in just fine! There are more than enough people to find someone you love to write with on here. There is always something going on too. Interest checks (threads) are always being posted and most are friendlier than friendly here. This site has a discord as well, and they have channels on there for RP/RP search.
Welcome to the guild! I hope you enjoy your experience here!

Ghiar seemed to look Anya up and down when she explained her wings and air boost powers wouldn't get her up to space. She was a tinier creature, so he wasn't surprised that she would struggle to get there. He did not meet a lot of other creatures that have been to space or were able to be in space for long - unless they were wearing specialized suits.
Thinking about it, could she breathe in space? was an immediate thought that came to his mind. Deciding that it was better than nothing, he offered, "I could maybe take you there one day, but I cannot promise anything," he didn't want to put her in any danger.

Giving off a faint smile and nodding his head, he wasn't spooked by her, but he enjoyed the attempt. "It was funny and cute," he agreed and complimented her. He didn't find her scary, even with her sharp teeth. His view on life was probably way different than others from his old age and overall experiences.

Glancing over to the duo at the table, he glanced back at Anya, "Do not worry. I think it will be fine if we go talk with them," he mentioned while getting up and away from the bar and stool. Ghiar made his way over to the two individuals, @Dark Light and @LiegeLord.

Ghiar stood there for a second before clearing his throat, "Good day to you all," he started the conversation off with a confident but gentle tone of voice. Naturally, he appeared harmless or friendly, even though that was not completely true. "My friend here-" gesturing to Anya "-was concerned about you two. Can I ask how you both are doing today to calm her mind? " he asked kindly with a smile. He seemed to not have any hesitation while asking the strangers this simple question; most people he has met have not gone to aggression as the first option.

Ghiar seemed comfortable talking to Anya and smiled with her positive reactions to him being a 'star-child'. Being asked about space, he seemed to perk up and get chatty about the question, "I was created among the stars and lived there for years with my creators. They helped and guided me through most of my abilities. It is completely a different living with the stars and planets. I don't think I could explain it without sitting down and renting for hours," he explained, since he truly didn't know how to put that experience in simple words. He would show her if he could.

Glancing down at himself, he thought about it for a few seconds before responding to Anya, "Most of the time I reflect the emotions I am feeling. Colors are associated with emotions, they appear as splotches around my body. I am pretty sure yellow resembles happiness or positive feelings. It fades unless that emotion stays strong," he explained while taking his monochrome skin into consideration. He knew that it was a big tell of how he felt, but he was used to the reactions of others.

Glancing over to the two at the other table, Anya seemed interested or maybe concerned with them. Ghiar shrugged at her question, since he wasn't paying attention to their interactions. He has never met the other two characters, so he had no past experience with them either. Considering his words carefully, he replied "I am not sure. I haven't really been paying attention to them," he stated while glancing back at Anya.

"We can go see if they are okay or not, if you want me to," Ghiar did not mind walking up to others and starting a conversation. He wasn't too shy and if someone was showing concern, he would check it out with limitations.

Watching thr smaller character carefully, she appeared to be very curious. He appreciated that there were many friendly individuals at this establishment. Chuckling when the young girl seemed to be excited about how he looked, all the time, and he would never think of it as cool. To him, it was completely normal, "Thank you for thr kind words,"

Shaking the smaller characters hand, he seemed to study her reactions and facial features. Her teeth were sharp, other than that she appeared innocent and childlike - an interesting correlation. "Anya is a beautiful name," he complimented her while giving a glance around the inside of the tavern a bit more.

Thinking about her questions and guesses to what he could be, he gave Anya a smile. How could he explain what he was without going on a long rant of nonsense? He thought about that for a few seconds before answering, "I am not a fae or a light creature, I do not think I fit into those categories at least," he mentioned before explaining what he was. "I do not know if you ever heard of horoscopes or star signs, but I am a child of the stars. I was created from all the astrological signs in thr night sky, so I appear to be this," he explained to the other. That was the best explanation that he could come up on the spot with.

The more he talked with the other and calmed down, the more the colors faded on his skin. He began to appear monochrome all over his body instead of having any color show at the moment.

Ghiar noticed a humanoid-like creature staring at him and greeted him as well. She appeared humanoid on the top half of her body, very pale and quite elegant looking. Her orange eyes were mysterious and almost intimidating, yet he had seen similar lifeforms close to hers. He allowed for a faint smile since he didn’t know what else to do at first, “Thank you,” he appreciated the warm welcome. @Song Book

Boo! Seeming to react, he seemed to be somewhat surprised when the younger individual came over to spook or scare him. The faded blue hues of his body began to change into a yellow, resembling a brighter emotion. Surprise or happiness, most likely. His main appearances were shades of gray, from black to white except for the tainted colors that changed throughout his skin.
The gray-creature eyes were a grayish blue, barely having color in them though his black pupils seemed to stand out, “I doubt that I am dead,” he informed the unique character. His overall nerves were already shot, so Anya’s attempt to scare him faded quickly in the other overwhelming emotions.

I usually look like this,” he gestured his hands out in front of him, wiggling his fingers. His motions were gentle and seemed to keep a friendly aura around him, as a gentle smile appeared on his expression. Looking over to the person that was noted to be, Asami, he seemed to note people’s names mentally.
Thinking about it for a moment, he decided to introduce himself, “I am Ghiar, it is a pleasure to meet you,” he held his hand out.

He inhaled sharply, knowing he'd have to figure things out for himself. Because he's been here before, this is a reassuring thought. This was far from his first rodeo. Ghiar had accidentally teleported himself in and out of universes in the blink of an eye, so he could claim to be a pro at adapting to his surroundings. "There's no reason to cry over spilled milk," he said to himself as he sat up, his confidence growing.

Ghiar let his gaze wander around the large room, noticing a few people conversing at a table. They were of various species, and he noticed many more. What exactly is this place? He couldn't help but wonder why this area had such a diverse population. It was strange.
Looking down at his hands, he had to pause for a moment before asking, "Am I dead?" This would be a good answer to a lot of questions. He questioned whether he was dead; could he even die? He had lived for thousands of years, so he wasn't sure if that was a possibility.

Ghiar pinched himself and grunted softly, deciding it was worth a shot. He was not dead, he knew that, and he examined his skin. He began to fade where he pinched himself, and the fading hues moved to another part of his body. Thickening the lines and colors elsewhere on him.
