Personally I tend to use safebooru.org to find pictures if I'm going for an anime feel. It's what I used this time around. It's got a sort of clunky interface (or maybe, and more likely, I'm just tech illiterate), but it's got a MASSIVE library.

Of course, there's always deviantart, but uh, searcher beware, you're in for a scare.
