The metal girl headed for Su when she presented a hand in each direction, and her visible (and still kind of red) eye widened as she presumably realized what was going to happen. Instead of focusing on attacking, the metal hands were brought in front of her to block whatever might be coming. Su’s blast backwards scattered the metal pieces, sending them flying all over and piercing walls, ceilings and remaining debris of furniture all over behind her, but Su was untouched. The blast in front of her, meanwhile, hit her opponent straight on and sent her careering backwards through the room. Su pushing forth to enhance the blow then blasted the metal girl towards the opposing wall, and-

‘KAH!’ -straight through it, blowing a sizeable hole in the wall and sending her rolling a full lap around before planting herself on her back. Despite just having been knocked through the building by a powerful wind, she was smiling widely.

‘Owowowow… Okay, that’d do it,’ Su’s opponent said with a chuckle on the other side of the hole in the wall.

‘Flirt? What kind of Magical Girl are you taking me for!? Haha…’ she laughed back at Su’s statement, though she wasn’t moving, taking a moment to recover from the blow. The time that took was far enough for Su to seek deeper into the building without being harassed by her current attacked. She entered a corridor and… then she saw the smoke. After that, finding the “monster” was trivial. For, should she choose to, she could but follow the smoke to…

‘Not good, not good!’ a voice called from around the corner.

Inside… a girl with black skin, with yellow pockets of heat surging along her back and limbs. Her hair was visibly orange of fire, her feet and hands with animalistic claws. She wore no clothes, other than the shoulder-pieces of armour on her shoulders, yet no features typically labelled obscene kind could be seen. Behind her, a long black tail extended onto the floor…

‘Victoria, this is your fault! You can’t freeze me and then expect me NOT lit things on fire trying to get free! I know I’m not supposed to put things on fire, but-’

And currently, she was quelling a fire using fire-powers to remove them from the burning furniture and walls to then snuff them out… then breathed a bit extra with her nose.

‘Sniff, sniff. Hm?’ Then she spun about to look curiously in Su’s direction, weather or not she had actually gone past the corner.

‘Who’re you? … Did you get past Victoria and Jelena?’ the girl asked. The fire in the room was not extinguished yet. Then Helga’s voice called from a distance, and the monster girl simply looked on curiously.

@Ariamis

Helga swung herself and broke through a window, calling out after Su… and just happened to end up within the room where Su had just sent her opponent spinning into. It was a bedroom, but now the debris of the wall had dusted the whole place up, and the girl with metal legs and hands was lying startled on the floor.

‘Woah, woah! Hold up! I’m briefly out! I’m still recovering! Hahaha!’ she called out, slamming her hands into the floor and making the fingers extend as to shove herself back onto her metal legs, up again and taking a stance just in case she was about to be attacked. ‘Su? That’s the name of the air-girl that just bashed me through a wall? I gotta remember that~’ she chuckled, and now looked to Helga, to see how she’d react to her.

@DarkwolfX37

‘Whelp,’ the Victoria next to the Shion said. ‘Looks like Victoria left, so I guess I better be ready to help, just in case. I might not have her ice-powers, but I still got a pretty good punch!’ Victoria said, throwing a single punch forward in demonstration. Indeed, that punch she just threw into the air was way faster and more powerful than the one of a normal human or even a normal Magical Girl.

‘So, uh. Talk to you later! See you!’ Saying so, Victoria bounced off the building, heading for the building which Helga had just swung into. … As were numerous other Victorias all around the building, heading to prepare themselves to invade.
@Rune_Alchemist So, because of the size of that beam, I somewhat count it as that you spent the first turn dodging out of the way, and the second one dashing forth to the opponent. If you had said that you'd do Ember BEFORE dashing in close, that had been launched first, but you wanted into close combat first. Which makes sense... except Archie and Sunfloorall had a counter to that. You know, Gym Leader and all that. So, what will you do?

I kind of need to say that I might be unable to post during all of next week, on account that I'm going on a mini-vacation Thursday through Sunday. So, if I was useless Monday to Wednesday in this schedule normally, now I'm going to be useless Monday to the Wednesday the week after... Hah. My apologies about that. I'll see if I can still try to post somewhere in there, but, er, I'm going to be with my family and likely only have free-time at midnight, don't necessarily count on it, hah. My apologies about that.
@Rune_Alchemist

Zeal dodged out of the way, managing precisely to get out of the way of the giant beam of sunlight, yet the mere proximity to the beam was causing a bit of damage to him. It would have been bad, had it not been Not Very Effective. Now his fire-type took in the burning rays pretty well, despite the massive amount of power. And then, he dashed forth to get close to the giant sunflower, behind which Archie tilted his head a bit.

‘No Taunt? Okay,’ Archie shrugged, then smiled so widely as he called out. Grass Whistle!

While Sunfloorall had been preparing for another blast, it was quick enough to completely switch tactics when Zeal came running for him. Instead of charging its face with solar energy, it instead directed one of its leaves to its mouth and blew. The sound was an almost enchanting yet exceedingly eerie tune, sounded out in Zeal’s direction. While the instinct was probably to dodge that, too, sound was considerably harder to dodge, especially when you just dashed that much closer to the source. The sound echoed across the battlefield and Zeal couldn’t help but fall fast asleep onto his stomach as he reached Sunfloorall’s feet.

‘Why, oh, why, did you want to get close? … Eh! Sunfloorall, do your thing~!’ Archie shrugged again and gave his command with a wide smile.

‘Floooooora~!’

Sunfloorall happily called out, taking numerous giant steps backwards as the huge flower charged another Solar Beam towards the now sleeping target…

What would Claire do in response to that? The options would be to hope Zeal woke up or switch Pokémon, though the one she switched to would get an immediate Solar Beam in their face. Or anything else, that the GM hasn’t thought of yet.
@Apollosarcher Thank you.

@Lmpkio I'd really like to have your post, as well.
Hm. That felt somewhat imperfect, but there you go. Tell me if there's any issues anywhere.

So, given that I am aware of that I am useless Monday through Wednesday because of my schedule, I am going to try to implement something here. I will attempt to post on Thursdays and Sundays, to make for steady amount of posting every week. Two GM posts per week, for those who have posted. This sound reasonable, right? I feel relatively good about that. How does that sound?
@Old Amsterdam@Gardevoiran@Dusksong

'Oh, and right, this too!' Kalmia took out a set of Super Potions, handing one to each so they didn’t have to go to the Pokémon Center. … Or they could go to the Pokémon Center anyway and get themselves a free Super Potion, seeing how that was apparently the destination of at least two right now anyway. Eryn apparently already applied said potion in her post, so that’s fine. Moving on.

@Old Amsterdam@Gardevoiran

As discussed, the group headed for the Pokémon Center. They could save on a Super Potion by just letting the nurse heal them instead.

So, it wasn’t exactly defined what they wanted to do at the Pokémon Center, so here’s assumed they asked around to more experienced trainers and see what they say.

‘The docks of Isson connects to the rest of the world! If you go there, you can buy the things exclusive to other regions! But, heh, it’s going to cost a pretty penny. Maybe return after earning some money on your journeys, eh?’
‘Route 1 is a safe route, a place where young trainers can train to become strong. Route 2 is undoubtedly more exciting, with Wet Caverns presenting a challenge to all who enter it. It’s pretty easy to get lost in there. I know they sell maps in Lakewatch Town, but that’s on the other side. How thoroughly unhelpful.’
‘Many young trainers start out going to Infested Woods to the east. However, that’s a beginner’s trap. The outer forest is safe enough, but venture too deep… Yeah, that wood is a little too close to everyone’s favorite city to start out from for my liking.’
‘Don’t be afraid to walk off the edge of the map! Just because an option isn’t listed, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it. Take the Silent Forest north of Route 1 or west of Route 3. No map tells of a way into it… but you can just walk in there, can’t you!? Take a chance! You have no idea what you might find!’
‘It always rains on Route 3, and Wet Caverns await after Route 2… Yupp! No matter what way you go, you’re going to get wet! Best to prepare yourselves! Oh, though I suppose you could take a boat from Highhill Town. That works too, but isn’t using vehicles in a Pokémon journey kinda cheating…?’
‘Super Contests are held in Pureplain City! They hold the most amazing of shows there! It’s a step up from the Normal Contests of Redcoast City where anyone can enter. … And Penelope has been mopping the floor with her contestants, both there and in the Trainers’ School! Ooooh, Penelope… How my heart aches for you…’
‘The Trainers’ School of Pureplain is the finest in the land! Go there if there’s something you want to know, and I here they occasionally let out rare Pokémon in their little park? I wonder what they have right now~!’
‘They say that once upon a time a great beast liked to run over the great plains which Pureplain City were originally named after. However, now most of the plain is taken over by Pureplain City, there’s little plain left to run on and it hasn’t been seen for ages. I wonder if the beast is still somewhere out there…?’
‘Pureplain City has a Pokémon Gym, just like all the other towns of Isson. … However, the leader might be have a case for being the strongest Gym Leader in Isson. There’s no use challenging him yet. Travel, become strong, and come back when you feel ready! Even then, you probably aren’t! He wiped the floor with me…’

So, with that done, they’re still in Pureplain City. Anything they want to do there?

That, or there was a mention that they might head towards the Gym Kalmia mentioned? That Gym lies in Highhill Town, and to get there they have to leave Pureplain City. If so, then they’d head across the streets until the buildings thinned out, following the road until a small plain stretched before their eyes, where trainers had their first experiences as Pokémon Trainers…

If Skylar wants a Pidgey, they’re all over the place, here. Either seeking scraps in the streets of Pureplain City or picking at bugs in the grass of Route 1…

Pokédex Entry #16 – Pidgey, the Tiny Bird Pokémon. They are docile Pokémon that avoid fighting, kicking up sand in an enemy’s face or using Whirlwind to avoid battles. They have sharp senses of direction, capable of finding their nest or destination from very large distances. They inhabit tall grass where they search and prey on small bugs.

Eryn moved after Oaken on the way to the Trainers’ School. He looked a bit surprised at the fact she had said she was meeting him there, but quickly adapted and gave her a little nod. In Pureplain City it was a regular, peaceful day, with people and Pokémon heading on their daily business and young trainers gathering where they belonged. Of course, one such place was the Trainers’ School, which Eryn and Oaken was far from the only ones that were heading to.

It’s a school. Kids around Pureplain City flock here eventually to learn the basics of Pokémon battling, or there are trainers that come here only to attend the odd lesson before they embark on their big journey. There’s a patch of grass on the side where wild Pokémon can be found, and every week the teachers are known to have found a new specie to release into it in order to keep the students interested. And, of course, there’s plenty of Pokémon battling among the students as they do their best to learn. In fact…

To the right immediately after Eryn enters the school, there’s a list of students in a ranking-list on a wall. A huge list of the 50 top students, ranked in Pokémon battling ability, and there’s a thing that anyone who visits can challenge the list to get onto it temporarily. Leaving for too long obviously means falling off the list, but those who rank high gain some benefits and bragging rights.

But even above the #1… The school apparently had their own Elite Four and Champion that one could challenge.

Pureplain City Trainers’ School
Elite Four:
Georgia - The Brawler
Loke - The Knight
Penelope - The Idol
Edwin - The Cricket

Champion: Daisy - The Siren
(The Champion in our hearts, Maple - The Scorcher, is currently out on her Pokémon trip. We send out our most heartfelt wishes to her!)

'Hm. I have already studied all the subjects they are likely have available here, and I’m not particularly interested in proving my worth here in battle. When I prove myself, I will do so in the real League. For now, I will be going to their park and see if they have any rare Pokémon available that I would like to add to my team,' Oaken said, turning to walk towards the park.

So. What would Eryn do here? Anything she wanted to know, challenge, or catch?

The Golett which Amelia approached stopped to take a look at her, inspecting her curiously. Then, unfortunately, she was not given the comfort of walking as it picked her up and hauled her onto its shoulder, the little golem holding her over its arm as it turned about to walk back to the Old Tombs with her. Now, Goletts are actually only a meter tall, so to lift adults it probably needed two of them each, but for the daughter and Amelia one sufficed, though it probably wasn’t that comfortable.

Dawkin did not have to wait long for a chance to sneak after, for the Goletts did not actually post any guards of any kinds. The Goletts that had failed to grab any captives walked on into the desert, moving out towards any living humans they could see and otherwise just headed straight out. They weren’t very perceptive, so with the assumption that Dawkin hid they’d pass by without noticing him. Those that did get ahold of someone headed into the tombs with them without posting any guards, meaning he was free to stalk after the Golett carrying Amelia off.

So, with that, through two different means, they descended down the stairs…

@BrokenPromise ‘Hah!’ The girl smiled widely as Su dodged forward and under her arm, closer to her while the clawed hand carved through bookshelves and sofas within the apartment. I reaction, the girl leapt backwards and called her hand back, though it’d be coming back from to Su’s right and not straight behind her due to the swipe having kept going. Then, before she landed, Su shot a blast of wind that tore through the floor beneath where her opponent was about to land. The coat-wearing girl had just gotten her right hand back, which had returned to its normal but still fairly oversized size, when she looked down in alarm as a hole had appeared, not able to react quite fast enough to prevent falling through. Thooouuugh…

She briefly fell through, before shooting up again after having been out of sight for but a fraction of a second, grinning and standing on her now excessively long metal legs, which had been shot down into the floor beneath and now acted as stilts.

‘What? You don’t want to hurt little old me, for some reason? I’m touched.’ So she said, before making a small wave if her left hands, palm upwards and fingers waving back towards her in a “come-here” motion.

So, something Su could potentially could have noticed. When the girl recalled her somewhat smaller right hand, it was because it had left behind a considerable amount of metal debris behind Su, splintering off while causing destruction in the room. That mass of metal now shaped into a considerable amount of sharp knife-like splinters, which the girl called to fly at high speed back towards herself, through the space which Su currently occupied. If she was in the way and didn’t do anything to act against it, she would certainly be pierced. If the parts did not hit anything they’d fly to the coat-wearing girl and slip in any available openings, by her neck, by her arms, from underneath and between the belts that held her coat together. That was more metal than the coat should logically be able to hold within it.

After that spray of metal, the girl excitedly leapt at Su, her stilt-legs molded back into her “normal” metal legs as she got into the air, now intent on simply getting into close combat and striking with the sharp ends of her huge metal hands once again.

@DarkwolfX37

Victoria looked curiously at the camera, and then smiled to Shion.

‘Ah, yeah, me? I’m kinda part of the fight. I was a little bored, so I wanted to try out the local selection. Just to warm me up, you know? Teh-heh. Though, I’m happy for the moment,’ Victoria smiled a bit, looking out towards where another her was currently fighting Helga.

‘Yeah, I could tell you something about the monsters. They’re someone’s. Not ours, but someone’s. Someone felt it was a brilliant idea to summon an army of skeletons around here. Who and why, I can’t tell, and I don’t really care. That’s also why I’m not fighting them. I don’t really care about what a horde of skeletons do, if they take a few lives or whatnot. Magical Girls are going to show up soon enough to take care of it. Look, there’s one,’ Victoria said, pointing towards the end of the horde heading for the park, where a tiger-beast girl was jumping into the horde… and it was reassembling itself as she tore them apart.

‘Ho-ho, looks like she might be in trouble. Maybe I should interfere JUST to possibly get an admirer,’ Victoria chuckled a little, looking off in the direction…

@Ariamis

Victoria stared a bit oddly at Helga at the references as both of them attached themselves to the wall. They exchanged the blow, and Victoria looked fairly confident about herself. Then Helga started speaking about Victoria’s supposed weakness. She raised an eyebrow, but made ready to dodge aside or raise a barrier of ice again to take the attack… only for her ice to shatter from the sound-wave and took her off the edge of the building.

‘Tsk!’ Albeit her ice that was there at the time had shattered, Victoria could still manifest new ice under her feet and attached to the wall for balance. She rode her ice down and straight down into the horde of skeletons, knocking a considerable amount of them aside and leaving them part frozen. When the ice met the ground, Victoria easily walked off with perfect balance. Her expression was deeply annoyed.

‘… “Resonance”? What kind of stupidity is that? Stronger and faster than me AND just somehow has a spell that somehow counters my entire specialization? That’s not even my weakness! I’m not WEAK to Sound! … Screw this. Magical Girls are bullshit, and now I’m in a bad mood. I’m leaving.’

Saying so, Victoria took an immediate right into an alley, uninterested in whatever she was leaving behind, including her allies and the giant ice-sled down into a skeleton horde she had just created.

@DarkwolfX37

‘… Huh. I didn’t expect that…’ The Victoria next to Shion muttered, watching the above written scene, somewhat perturbed by the events concerning her double.
@Rune_Alchemist@Eklispe Nicely posted. Now, then.

@Apollosarcher@Lmpkio Now, @Crimson Raven can still stay hidden if she so desires, but you two are in the thick of it. What do you do? How's it going?
@Old Amsterdam@Gardevoiran

'Ro-to-to-to-tom~' Rotom just made a taunting noise towards Alice and didn’t appear to be intending to make any sort of motion towards actually working to better its activities.

'Ha, ha, ha… I wish…' Vivia tilted her head a little, a resigned smile on her lips. Then, Alice suggested she left to adventure with them, and her eyes widened in realization at the invitation. 'Wa, huh? You’d wish to travel with me…?' She needed to process that for a bit. Then, she straightened up, put on a serious face more in line with her character image, and adjusted her glasses. 'Heh! Alright, then. For the time being, I would be happy to accompany you. I am rather inexperienced myself, but we can help each other out. It would be my pleasure,' she said, a slight smile appearing on her lips that she was trying to restrain.

Rhyperior was more than happy to be hugged. Now, the big rock was way too wide for Alice to actually hug around, and his own arms were a bit limited in ability to hug back due to same wideness, but…

'Rhy!' the Rhyperior called out happily and gave her a decently careful pat on the head with one of the huge rock-arms. 'Rhyperior!' He then waved to her when she said they’d see each other again, and looked quite blissfully happy. Jacques was at the side and looked on with a smirk.

Kalmia smiled at Skylar’s question, but shook her head. 'Nope. I’m afraid that in Pureplain City, you’re only going to find the pure and plain, at the very least when it comes to Flying-types.'

Anyways, that’ll be that. Though, at the side…

@Dusksong

Dei leapt before arriving at Skorupi, descending down on the scorpion from above.

'From above!' Oaken tried, and Skorupi tried.

'Skorupi…!' it announced, thrusting above it with a claw, trying to Knock-Off… but did it a slight bit too early. Missing, Skorupi got confused enough to open its eyes to see what was going on… right in time to see a Charmander falling down on it, burning tail first!

'SK-SKOO-!' Skorupi gave a small shout of panic before Dei smacked down into it, in whatever way he intended. The impact was enough to push Skorupi over the edge, and it slumped aside and rolled onto its back, fainted. The battle was over.

Eryn was victorious! Eryn gained 1000 P for winning!

Dei grew to Level 6!

'… Hmpf.' Oaken turned his head in slight regret to the right, then lifted his Pokéball to recall Skorupi. '… You followed my orders well towards the end. I suppose I cannot expect you to be perfect from the get-go. Well fought, I suppose.' He recalled Skorupi, and then turned to Eryn.

'You managed to turn a sure loss into a decisive win. Well done, I suppose. If I’m ever pushed into a corner… I’ll try to keep you in mind. I’ll see you in the Pokémon League.' … Oaken did not intend to stick along longer than that. He gave a nod to Jacques, who gave a nod back, before intending on walking off.

'I’ll waste some time at the Trainer’s School,' Oaken said, passing behind Rodger’s back.

'Got it! I’ll find you there when I’m done!' Rodger said, before turning back to the battle he was focused on.

Now, Eryn can stop Oaken before he walks off too far, if she wants to. After her victory, and if she hadn’t engaged in conversation or so, Eryn would be approached by Professor Kalmia.

'You two did great, Eryn, Dei! Well done! Now, I just need to give you these, and then you’re ready to get going!'

Eryn obtained 5 Pokéballs!!

'If you have any questions, I’m always just a call away!' So Kalmia said.

Now she can talk to the others, or whatever she wishes. Eryn, Skylar and Alice are currently in Pureplain City.

Connected areas:
Route 1. Easier path, just follow the bigger road.
Route 2. Walk through quite an amount of suburbs until you eventually reach the path.
Sea. There’s water, alright. Can take you anywhere you want to go, assuming you have means to traverse it.

With his flames boosted by the flaring sun, Zeal fired off a magnificently huge, flaring Ember at the Taunted, String Shotted Lilligiant that could not get out of the way in time! The fireball impacted, and Lilligiant gave out a cry as the flames did their damage, leaving leaves seared and slightly burning… but still, Lilligiant was tough enough to weather at least one of those fireballs. A heavily damaged Lilligiant still employed Mega Drain once again, draining power from Zeal through some unnatural grass-typed power through the air that who knows how it actually works. … Still, with all likelihood Zeal just fired another Ember…

‘LILLIGAAAAAAAAAAANT!’

… And the humongous plant fell burned, the huge form falling over with a soft crunch as it impacted the wooden platform beneath it, the signs of burning String Shot strings still binding around it.

‘Hahahaha! String Shot plus Taunt. That’d do it. Good job! You took down my wall!’ Archie called out to Claire, smiling oh, so happily as he returned Lilligiant to her Pokéball. ‘So, since my wall is down, and I’d rather you don’t Taunt my other Pokémon, I suppose I’m switching to my cannon.’ Saying so, Archie lifted his hand, and Ramsey dropped a Pokéball into his master’s hand. Then, with a gleaming little smile, Archie called out his second Pokémon.

@Dusksong Nicely posted. Yupp, that's cool. Now, excuse me for perhaps putting a lot in your section here, but I did want you to potentially talk to the other new trainers that just got out from their battles, heh.

@Old Amsterdam Heh. You want Vivia to hang on? Sure. Until I figure out something else I want her to do. Nicely posted.

@Gardevoiran I like the use of Water Gun there. Nicely posted. Yupp, now it's up to you guys where you want to go.

@Rune_Alchemist Nicely posted. Now, if you've read the IC post, I mostly intend that your next post is most likely the description of an attempted dodge and then your next plan of action. Teh-heh. Good luck with that.

@Eklispe Nicely posted. Alright, that's what Dawkin wants to do. Now, I'll post as soon as Joshua figures what he wants Amelia to do. Teh-heh.

@Demon Shinobi How's it going?
