Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@Sypherkhode822You're ok. Now, we have a 'post once every ten days' limit which you can stick to now. Most of the time though, if y'all got nothing to do that's my fault lol. I'll post soon and you'll be good to reply.
As Nuva strode past the newcomers, he soon found himself lost within the crowd somewhat. He'd been within the city walls for hardly anytime at all, though he had the benefit of being taller than most of the men and woman who walked past him, so he could better see what was up ahead. Soon his long strides got him down three streets, passing by an Alchemist's den and a general goods store that seemed to have quite the business judging from the crowd. However, his search lad led him to the small store of a very small man, who seemed too busy shooing away someone who had attempted to barter with him.

"Go away!" He said, waving his hands. The disgrunted human grumbled and stepped out of the door. Meanwhile, Nuva had the chance to read the sign that proclaimed 'Mystic Miscellaneous: Your vendor of items and ingredients magical."
The short man was decked out in comfortable trousers and an expensive looking vest, over a rather inexpensive wool shirt. That, coupled with one earring with a jewel that seemed to spark a bit too brightly, suggested he wanted to impress. He waltzed behind his counter and stood, seemingly a bit taller now that his legs were not visible. Perhaps he was standing on books?

Kayden bit into his apple, and waved for the newcomers to not be shy. Thankfully they weren't. Lis was standing close enough to Kayden to see his free hand behind his back, one finger playing with the hilt of a hidden dagger, though his face was perfectly casual and calm. Perhaps he was both wary and calm. He didn't think these fellows were unseemly, but it was odd that he'd receive three new recruits in one morning, and word on the street was that some did not trust his Guild's reputation yet. He'd not yet learned of Starkvales...incriminating activities. Come to think of it, that made four with Lis. But if he had to be honest, she was a bit too pissed and outspoken to be a mole, or an assassin.

Luckily, Kayden was savvy enough to see these fine newcomers seemed genuine enough as well. "My name is Kayden. I'm the Captain, as you've probably guessed." he began. "As long as you're honest with me and the team, don't shy from when we need work done, and carry your weight, you'll do just fine."

Lis's observation of 'Jackal' had Kayden grinning humorously for a moment, but he put a finger to his lips and gave her a sideways look. "Here..." he said, reaching into his sack to produce another apple. He rolled it down his arm and presented it before her eyes with deft fingers. He meant it in the friendly way he was presenting it, but maybe with her mouth full she wouldn't encourage the newcomers to flee before they could properly join.

To her slightly more amiable suggesting of going shopping, Kayden gave her a wink. "Let's." he said, before turning to the new people. "I'll fill you in on the way, but if you wish to come with us, we'll be searching for some items to help us with our next job. I won't blame you if you want to weight here in the common room, though. Glad to have you with us."

The handsome young swordsman shook the hands of whoever would accept it. He seemed to have an easy time going from casual to businesslike. The sun was gaining higher just as they set out, walking among the crowd and keeping close so as to not get lost. There were a few Dwarves unloading a wagon to their right, using their stout strength to lift sacks of grain that weighed more than a grown man onto the ground.

Up ahead, the narrower streets became wider and more open. Music played, the kind made for merry making. A Half Elf minstrel played the flute while an approachable, older human played the harp. Before them, a shapely dark skinned woman swished to and fro as she danced to the music. On the opposite side of the square, shops were booming with business, and a sharp crack of metal on metal could be heard just to their back left as they entered the wider street.

There was a building made of stout stone, covered in a tarp. The tarp glowed from firelight within, even in the sunlight. "Well, if we're going to fight one of the Undying, Valdium or Silver is first on our list." Kayden said aloud, hands in his pockets as he looked to whatever companions followed.

I just noticed, you've gone over the time limit as well, and haven't posted since my last update, much less the one I am about to make. So I'll give you until midnight, between Friday and Saturday, to post.
@BurningCold
Post incoming tonight. Everyone below a week left in time will have an extra 4 days added.

Also, needless to say @Jollan has unfortunately gone over the time and is now out. I'm sorry buddy, but them's the rules.
Somehow I'm suffering from such a lack of ideas and demotivation these days.

Then it's a good thing I'm slow as molasses in winter.

But seriously, now that Syph has updated, I can.

@The Fated FallenWant me to find you another site with Samurai Jack. That last one I linked had been working for 2 weeks until the night I sent it to you. Now I can't use it.
If you asked Skarr, people got too bent out of shape over the small stuff. Yes, he wasn't heartless. He would have rather the hatchling humans have lived. He felt the ping of regret about as much as anyone. The difference was, he didn't dwell on it. He'd seen exploding transport ships, ships that he could have saved if he was just the smallest bit faster. He saw the bodies filter out of the ruptured hull, doomed to float into the recesses of space.

If you let that stuff get to you, you were going to have a bad time. It was good to know the mission was a relative success. Hopefully he'd get his first cut soon. He'd conserve his money, but he didn't know how much longer he could pay for his meals with the banks on this planet. Plus he was eyeing the latest series of Claymore guns.

He decided to grab a small meal, merely 5 pounds of what the humans called pork. Earth had quite a lot of odd, albeit tasty livestock. Only dropping two atomic bombs on their soil left alive a lot of critters. Odd the only beasts close to Thresher maw in size were the Elcor looking Elephants, and the marine life called 'Whales.' You'd think a lot of the creatures on this world would be huge.

He filled one of his multiple stomachs with the pork, but found he had little interest in exploring this bastion of civilization. He'd probably break more than he'd care to pay for. So he made his way to the platform, formerly 'New Scotland Yard.' Salissa was the only one there he saw. If he was a younger Krogan, he'd make a joke about her being only the third human to 'mount' him, but as it were he just found he respected her fighting prowess. She seemed unnecessarily tough for a slim human female.

"Good job out there," he told her.

Fellow friends <3

Also, expect a post in the next few nights!
Command and you shall receive.

I should have my 2nd character done soon as well. Been very busy this month, but I'm still looking forward to some spell swordin' pick pocketing. I'll write ye 20 paragraphs with Dax though! @gcold

1st person is something I am unused to though, I admit.
<Snipped quote by gcold>

Impossible. I have no arms.

You can always try using your forehead. "t5g6ryyutgvry" See? It works.
Here's a writing prompt while you guys wait for the updates.

Write something about your character through the first person perspective of someone else. This can be anything from the standard prose to poetic verses. Your content can also be one of the prior prompts (meeting character from another RP/character background). The only requirement is to write from the first person perspective of someone that you do not play.
