Xavier

Xavier frowned as he watched Rose's demeanor falter. There was something wrong with her, but she wasn't sharing. That was something he planned on doing. After she left, he glanced to Persephone. "I'm going to check on her." He told her quietly, "Stay here. Okay?" He watched her intently and she nodded obediently. He strode out the way Rose had gone, double checking that Persephone had stayed still. To his relief, she had. Xavier ran a hand through his hair and watched thin black pieces fall out. He watched it briefly, stalling. His hair falling out had started happening in the recent month. It was another damn thing he had to add to list of stuff to fix.

Once he began to approach Rose, he said softly, "Rose." He was scared he'd startle her. There was something about the closet that had freaked her out. "Rose, honey, what's wrong? Don't lie to me, either, please." His chest ached with distress; it was becoming overwhelming already, trying to take care of everything... But he needed to push it aside now to help Rose. His concern for Persephone was diminishing.

Tessa spent the first week of classes pondering what was dangerous in the ruins of Hogwarts. Her thirst for adventure was creeping up, but she knew she couldn't explore. It was dangerous and she wasn't going to risk anyone's life so she could see what was there. She sighed and looked down. The Sorting Hat telling her she would do well in Gryffindor kept replaying in her mind, though she ignored it. TJ enjoyed being in Slytherin and wouldn't have had it another way. Still.... She sighed, shaking her head, and bit her lip. It was easy to imagine what it would be like if she were in Gryffindor instead. It would be different and perhaps she might have some more friends than she did in Slytherin. Though, she did have more friends in other houses, and appreciated them. She brightened and pushed the thoughts away. It wouldn't bode well to think of 'what-if's.

As she strode down the hallway, she could hear students chatting excitedly for the upcoming dance. Tessa wondered if anyone would ask her - and who would, if any. She was hoping Simon would ask her, though she could tell it wasn't easy for him to do so if he wanted to ask. Despite the personality he displayed, she knew he wasn't all bad. Tessa rather enjoyed his company and was sad to know he was in his seventh year. It would be lonely without him. TJ looked out the window and told herself if nobody asked, that she would, and if nothing else, she'd go alone. She wouldn't miss out on the opportunity to have fun, regardless if she had a date or not.

Tessa entered Transfiguration for sixth years and it was with Gryffindor's. She sat near the back and noticed that she sat a seat away from Demetria. She set her backpack down and took out her Transfiguration book. Then, once settled, Tessa faced Demetria and smiled. "Hey Demetria, how are you?" Being friendly towards others she wasn't' close with took a lot of her, but she told herself she needed to try harder in that aspect. "Are you excited for Quidditch? I absolutely love playing Gryffindor's team." Tessa smiled and then waited a response, angling her body to face Demetria's, though keeping her gaze fixated on the window. She wanted to be outdoors in the worst way and was trying not to go crazy in being cooped up in classes inside. At least, she told herself, it was one of her favorite classes.
I'm here and I will post soon.

For anyone who doesn't know, Alan Rickman passed away today. RIP. :(
@XxLyraxX Muggleborn buddies! Tessa is a muggleborn too. :)
I'm here! :)
Shay

Shay jumped when Alcina's voice filled the air. She turned and beamed at her. Alcina was one of her longtime best friends. She could brighten up any room with her optimism Shay hugged Aly and then nodded. "Yeah, we're both in AP classes." She fell silent to allow Alex and Emma to speak. "It sucks! I hate being in these classes," she moaned and looked at Aly.

"We need the study group! I'm going to fricken die in these classes." She then looked around to spot for James and Rose and yelled over when she saw them, "Yo! Over here, Rose, James!" People turned to look over but Shay ignored them, waving her arms frantically and laughing at the stunned looks on some people's faces. "Over here!"

James looked up from his conversation with Rose, sighing. He gave Shay a thumbs up then turned back to Rose. "Aww, I'm sorry, Rose. I'm here for you. I'll help you stop them." He hugged her close and kissed her cheek. "I'll make sure to keep am ind shield on you, ok? I love you." He felt concern as well within him., Maybe it was nothing, maybe it was something. Either way he knew he needed to keep a careful eye on Rose. The superior could be lurking about and giving her nightmares because she was a Housen. He remained cheerful for her sake and impassive, keeping his concern at bay.

"HEY!" Shay yelled once more, "Don't ignore me, cinnamon!" James sighed at his nickname, managing an amused smile. It was the color of his eyes so she had given him the nickname.

"I think we should go before she loses her shit," He gently held her hand and pulled her carefully through the crowd with him. James looked at the group with a sigh as he came over.

"Shit, it's been ten minutes and you're all over each other already? God,"Shay jokingly looked at Rose. "I'm kidding, you know me. Missed you two so much! All of you! We just need Jason now." She looked down at Emma and grinned. "Look at you, being a little big shot, hanging out with the big kids."

Ariana

Ariana left the car and bade her twin goodbye. It wouldn't be for long, however, because she knew that they would hare a dormitory together. It was the same set-up each year. Still, a pang hit her hard in the chest as she watched her twin leave. Ariana loved her but felt out of place with her friends. It was slightly awkward for her; they were close, and she was not. It was almost her fault but she felt more at peace with Riley. The thought of him made her grin uncontrollably. She gazed around for him and sat down on a bench near the fountain placed in the center of the entrance. It was the most conspicuous place to be, since most people stayed to the sides. She texted Riley,Hey I'm by the fountain at fern. R u here yet? Then, setting her phone in her purse, waited.

She wore a floral neon t-shirt with a pair of jeans and converse. Around her shoulders was a knit cardigan. Ariana had tied her hair into a bun with a few hair strands hanging down to frame her face. The hair blew lightly around her face and she wished she could end the breeze - yet no-one was allowed to us many powers. It was mandatory procedure which she agreed with, but was regretting not controlling the wind sooner. She looked at her light pink nails and nervously checked her phone to see if Riley had responded.

Simons' laugh towards her commentary regarding her summer caused a smile to cover Tessa's lips. She listeend and ate - hacing taken mostly mashed ptoatoes and softer foods. She hads ownr braces the previous summer, so her overbite was slowly fixing itself. Stil, she needed softer foods to eat while her teeth adjusted. Nearby, she heard Victoria greet her and smiled, turning to face her. Victoria was one of her best friend's, if one of the few. Tessa was selective when it came to her friend's. But Victoria was in her year and she had known her since first year. "Thanks, Victoria! You too!"

She giggled when Simed told her that his compartment had been filled with idiots. She wondered what his definition was of idiots, but couldn't question it sinScecorpious Malfoy III came over to the Slytherin table. TJ glanced over at him curiously and tried to disntguish his intentions. "Look at you all. Yuck. Tessa rolled her eyes. Yuck? What was he talking about? And how rude! Normally she would've responded - yet, it was trheir head of house. Why would he be their head of House if he thought they were disgusting? In the back of her mind, she wondered if she looked gross. The piercing thought drove her crazy inside, yet she tried to reassure herself she was fine.

Trying to push it out of her mind, she sighed and then looked over at Simon. His remark on taking points from the adults made her laugh. She began sipping her iced lemonade when he shouted ""Ten points taken away from Scorpius for being him!" She choked on her lemonadfe and spluttered, coughing. Her blue eyes were wide, but inside she was half amused and half horriifed. Though Simon stated he hadn't known Scorpious was beind him, it had been a bold move. Tesa wiped her mouth off with napkins that she deposited afterwards. Then, she looked at him and comfortingly rubbed his arm and pulled away. 'Sorry, I didn't know he was either since I'm beside you. My apologies." She glanced over to see him leave, then looked back at Simon. "What's his problem anyway? So weird,"
