  • Name: Shane Gambino, though he goes by his nickname: Gambol Shroud.
  • Age: mid-to-late 20s
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance: "A believe a proper duel's in order!"
  • Personality: Unlike most Doll Hunters, Shane doesn't see the Dolls or their Masters as a threat, rather seeing them as more of a sport. Shane is the definition of gentleman. He's nice to the waiter, treats women with respect, and above all else practices honor. Even if he skirts minor stuff like two-on-one, he's not going for underhanded tactics like holding relatives hostage and hates it when anyone tries it, be they Doll, Master, or Hunter. Shane shows a very cocky attitude despite his gentlemanly demeanour, foolishly and recklessly dueling people and seeing the whole Dolls situation as nothing more than a game. The only additional reason why he's hunting Dolls is because of an experience he had when he was fifteen, but for the most part, he just wants answers than revenge or justice.
  • Backstory: Shane Shroud was raised into a rich family. While his father's not directly connected to royalty, people in his neighbourhood treat him as such. When he was ten, his father took Shane to see an old friend, a Doll Hunter who begins to tell the boy of Dolls and why they are a threat to the world. Shane was offered to join the Doll Hunters, but he rejected. He was given a nailgun as a way to "think about it". Five years later, during a hunting trip with his father and a few men, a boar-like monster ambushed them. They tried their weapons on it, but none proved effective. It wasn't until Shane, in a desperate attempt to save his father from getting skewered by the boar, shot it with the nailgun. The boar died, reverted to a human, and the crisis was over. Shane felt a rush come to him as he is hailed a hero. The next day, he joined the Doll Hunters and began to train, never truly knowing what the monster that attacked the hunting party was.
  • Skills: Shane is skilled in hunting, just like his father. Though not for Dolls, rather for wildlife such as deer, foxes, and even boars. He is also skilled in fencing, something his mother taught him. Because of his rich upbringing, he is also able to fund a bunch of stuff, though he can only fund so much without getting cut off.
  • Weapons: Shane, true to his love for dueling, hired a blacksmith in the Doll Hunters to craft a rapier with a Nailgun molded into the hilt. He coined the name for the rapier: The Peerless Nail, as the tip of the rapier is actually a nail as well. As such, the rapier is very sharp at the point. With him are clips for more Nails to put in.
I also have a question. What exactly do you mean by "Control Method"? I know you mean "in order to make the Digimon less OP", but what are some examples of this so I could get an idea, since I'm thinking a million things.
I have... no clue what you're talking about.

It's a quote from

I have interest, mainly because I have several character ideas in mind to pick from. Including an alligator who uses a swamp-mud based Stand.

The Madokaverse isn't very fun without magical girls, which to my understanding was just rendered pointless by the complete removal of Witches. I think.

Not really.

Meanwhile, cour 2 of F/SN [UBW] has begun. Yay.

Dat Clock Up.

I don't have a problem with it, except that you have Beowulfmon listed as an Ultimate in one line.

Ah, yeah. I'll switch him out for KendoGaruruMon.

Kaito stood by and watched Guts engage with the fiery inferno. He pulled out a few cards from a cyan-colored gun and weighed the options carefully. On one hand, he could summon Kiva, OOO, and Wizard in their water-based forms, but that'd take a while to summon and switch to their different forms. Then there was one other card: Abyss. Kaito doesn't know much about Abyss. His symbol of a shark-head matched that of the riders in Ryuki's world. Perhaps he was just one of the many Riders that fought and died in the war. Kaito never really paid that much attention to the Riders and their stories, just how they worked.

There were a few Kaijin Rides he could use, but the problem would be helping out Guts without getting involved in the conflict. Kaito snuck away and watched as the fight between Guts and the burning inferno continued.
Hey everyone. Just sending in my initial interest.

So far I'm thinking of either using a Crusadermon line or going for a more unique, if a little formula/line-shattering (I'm assuming that's what is meant by 'unconventional'), line. You can see the details of the lines below.

The character power or Arc idea?

Speaking of, any thoughts on the Arc Ideas submitted so far? Or none yet?
I don't think anyone's late. Usually, rule of thumb, AFAIK, it's when the IC comes up would people label "late", and it's also depending on if the GM closes signups.
