Immunity: Life support, (suit helps keep him alive as best it can, slightly healing him if needed [takes a while to heal]) 
Immunity: bullets and bladed weapons(his bio suit is like Armor)
Fly: while he can't full blown fly, Mantis boy can jump extending his mantis wings and is able to gain quite a bit of air before slowly gliding down, wings softly buzzing the whole time. He can jump from building to building quite easily with his gliding wings. With a running start he can glide quite far especially if he leaps from a tall building.
Wall crawling: Mantis boy can cling to walls or any surface like a bug can (like spiderman)
Blades: While wolverine extends his claws from his knuckles, Mantis boy can grow a single two and a half to three foot mantis blade out from each one of his wrists (top of wrist/top forearm) so 2 blades in all, one for each arm. The blades are created by the bio suit and are the equivalent of adamantium.
Boomarang: The bio suit can instantly grow a small  "mantarang" into his hand. Made from the same material as the suit and blades, it can be thrown like a throwing star or it can return like a Boomarang. 
Camouflage Just like how the praying mantis comes in many varieties, for example. The one that blends in with green leaves, the one that blends in with brown dead leaves, the one that looks like a pink flower. Mantis boys bio suit can mimic backgrounds slightly hopefully giving him an edge.

Weakness: Mantis boy is vulnerable to most energy attacks his bio armor will protect him as best as possible but the suit it self will be damaged and he will be forced to retreat to let the suit heal or risk defeat. 
Also his suit has almost no way of dealing with magic. 
If a super strong person started smashing up on Mantis boy he could take it only so long before becoming unconscious. 
Mantis boys only attacks are his blades,  boomarang and punches/kicks

Skills/Abilities: Tyler knows his way around a computer and can preform all basic and some more advanced techniques. He is also quite Streetwise when it comes to criminals.

Appearance: This is Tyler as normal, he is a weirdo and likes metal music.  




This is Tyler in his bio armor both standing and flying. 

Costume: The alien bio armor that was injected into Tyler is alive. It grows onto his body just like how venom from marvel  grows his suit onto his body. Its black and green in coloration as shown in the picture. The bio armor is super protective. It is light and agile while still being completely immune to gun fire and blades. It will protect him from most minor damage (light to medium punches, kicks) It has full life support and Tyler is sealed inside when he has it on. It will heal itself and even heal Tyler to a degree. (It's a slow heal)

Personality: Tyler is slightly rebellious at heart but keeps it in check as best he can. He wants to do what he wants to do most the time and is hard to convince. He has always been a joker, always acting goofy and strange. Most people think he is kinda weird. Once angerd he can be known to blow up but its really hard to get him to that point. He likes to make stupid/funny remarks when he takes out bad guys. 

[b]History:[b/] Tyler McCain was an avrage young man who enjoyed loud metal music, partying and hanging with his tattooed friends. He lives in the burbs with his mother and father and pet cat. With a pretty avrage life. He finished high school two years ago and has been at home partying with his friends ever since. His parents often tell him to get get a job and stop being so lazy but he can't seem to find the inspiration. That was until he was abducted by aliens. One night after heavy partying Tyler was walking home. He decided to take the woods shortcut and ventures off into the forest. As he walks he starts to hear strange sounds, he passes it off as a result of the partying and keeps going. He soon starts to see strange lights and before he can even pull the pocket knife from his jean pocket he is abducted. With a flash of bright light Tyler is beamed onto the alien ship, sedated and straped into the experimentation table. The aliens who are experimenting with diffrent earth species and trying to create more powerful alien super soldiers have a library of earth species DNA. Sevral dead humans lay on similar tables some with genetic mutations. The strange gray alien takes a vile marked with a picture of a mantis and slips it into some sort of injection gun.
   Tyler is injected with an experimental mantis syrum made up of the best of all mantis on earth mixed with the advanced war technology of the alien civilization. The alien syrum is actually a symbiotic lab created creature that forms a bond with its host for life. Called a symbiote, the creatures soul purpose is to make its host a super soldier. The aliens need new bio armors for there soldiers back on there home planet where a war has been going on for many years.  
  The syrum incubates in Tylers system and after a few hours becomes his bio armor. (Think Venom but with a harder more armor like suit.) While most test subjects are not able to gain control over the symbiote, a few where able after a few days, but most die. Those who survived where killed by the aliens to cover there tracks. Tyler gains control over his new symbiote after only a few hours and is able to rip free his shackles and escape the alien ship. He falls off and is plummeting to his death when he suddenly gains complete control over his bio suit and uses his wings to glide to safety. He hid for a while laying low, trying not to be re captured by the aliens, but for the last month or two he has started to explore his powers more and actively seek criminals. Mantis boy dident know if it was a good idea to jump inbetween the 7th street gods and the old guy they where mugging but he steped in and was able to stop the thugs. Maybe being a hero isn't so bad.
