Current Teaching myself web development by trying to fix some BBCode bugs/features in the Guild is probably a bad idea. Oh, well.

If school were less hard, it'd be less interesting. I still want it to be less hard, though.

Looking for Axis players!

The date is December 8th, 1941. With the entry of the United States, World War II is in full swing.

Which is when an alien society of omnipotent space bats in the far future screw with dimensions in the multiverse, and pull in some guests.

Play as either a real-life leader of a real-life country; a strange alternate dimension country that could have been; or a single ship, battalion, or air wing, stranded from its home timeline. No magic, and keep tech at a near-WWII equivalent. Pull from books! Pull from timelines on alternate history forums! Go a little crazy! Be very sane!

In more detail, the timeline proceeds as ours does up to December 8th, 1941. On that date, countries, ships, fighter wings, or battalions find themselves suddenly "cut" from their timeline and "pasted" into our timeline. They get "pasted" in the same place in our timeline that they were "cut" from in their timeilne. So if your nation is an alternate take on Spain where Napoleon never invaded, your Spain replaces our Spain. Even if that means part of France suddenly disappears.

Any nations that would be carved out of another, already established, player's territory should be cleared by said other player.

Combat is decided through rational roleplay. "Rational", as in, no single tank will destroy an entire army.

Any nations not claimed by someone are NPC's (...NPN's?), and their actions are controlled by everyone - if you need the NPC to react, put it in your post, and then it's canon.

So, we can actually make new but plausible nations, right?
How about the Carpathian Federation?

[...]

Also I can understand that you wish to start this game when USA is involved, too.
But that'd practically prohibit people from exploring plots from earlier times.
For example my Carpathian Federation would most likely interfere during the Polish Invasion already.

Sounds fine. And it wouldn't, actually; the idea being that your nation would be ISOT'd (er, "magically" and instantaneously transported) from its home universe to this one, plopped down in the same relative location. God knows what happens to the poor innocent nations that used to be there.

I would like to partake in this RP! As the former this Submarine!

Ooh, what is that, a Type... X? IX? Drat, I used to know this stuff.

Question I'm a bit confused so some parts of our timeline mixed in with parts of another time. So basically two dimensions mixed together. Also I'd be fine with soviet Russia or germany.

Yes, essentially. Take our world in 1941 as the base canvas, then swap out nations, ships, etc. with ones from alternate dimensions. It's kind-of a little bit like Eric Flint's Grantville series (if you've heard of it), minus the time travel.

Just some random questions:
- Are we allowed to pull in nations from other NRP's we've been in?
- Instead of playing as a ship, can we play as a single person or fleet/fighter wing/army platoon?

On another note, nice seeing you again Raid :D

Hello, Clock!
-Yes. Edit it, though, to make it fit this RP. Make sure the technology level is WWII. It's preferable if your nation is in their own version of WWII, as well.
-I don't think a single person would work - there's not going to be many other single people for them to interact with. I'm okay with fighter wings and platoons. Maybe fleets, too. But you shouldn't be able to influence events to the same degree as nations with one fleet/wing/platoon.
How about an alt-Timeline South Africa?

I'm open to the idea.*

I'll start working on a proper OOC, since interest is accumulating (haha, finance puns).

*Please no Draka-wank. I feel like 1940's Domination of Draka would utterly destroy everything else.
Yay! Interest! <3

Oooh, go for it, Thang. I like the idea. If you're going off of our timeline, Rommel just pulled out of Tobruk, I believe.
Point of Departure: World War II

>>I'm also looking for a co-gm, preferably one with a decent handle on WWII.<<

Interest? Questions?

Hahaha, yes, please. The only problem might be figuring out when to transition into flying off. But that's not much of a problem, I think. Probably we could (finally) just start, at this point!

P.S.: Enjoy your fancy Co-GM status and powers. <3

Edit: @White Feather@ForsytheIt's been a while, but I still want this to happen.
Good news! I can now be on here on a regular schedule again! Expect daily to bi-daily activity.

Yes, I agree with these things that have been said. It makes sense to just go with the flow, I think. I was wondering where we should start - with the ship's first launch, or do some posts on constructing it?

And - what shall we call it? Because obviously that's the most important thing.
My vote is for new, but I'm fairly indifferent.
--->CLOSED<---

Several hundred years in the future, three alien races took it upon themselves to launch an expedition through an ancient space gate...
...yes, I shamelessly stole that image.

This is a non-"adult" 1x1x1* between @myself, @White Feather, and @Forsythe. It's spin-off from the roleplay Stellvia. We're not looking for additional players, but you can comment in the OOC, if you like.

The sheet that follows is just a suggestion. Nothing on it is required. Add more information, if you'd like. Ignore fields, if you want to. Heck, you guys don't even have to use it.

*Should this be in the 1x1 section? I think there's too many people for that. Hmph.
I suggest a timeskip. We move forward, say, 3 months. Then we quietly ignore those connections we've made that are AWOL. Speaking of which, who's waiting on whom?
