v A trap character is a male character who could easily pass as a woman. A reserve trap is the opposite. ~The More You Know~

'Ello again Guild, I'm back after a lot of dull real life drama. Hopefully time to write some drama instead of partake in it. <cracks knuckles>

Whoa, I love the current detail of the world (I also love that you're giving us some creative freedom with it).

As of now my concept for my Child is a rather apathetic creature. He likely never cared about humanity and their struggles, only seeing them as a means to an end. What that end was? I'm not even sure he truly knew. He was probably rather amoral and lazy, fighting only when it was truly necessary. I'm guessing those who followed under him had a rather hedonistic, if not nihilistic view of the world. I also imagine he was pretty crap at his leadership role, given his lack of care or concern for his followers.

He'd probably have been one of the ones who took a long time to pick a side. I doubt he wanted to get involved in any war, and likely didn't care much for both angels and demons. If I do go with this concept (and it works within the bounds of this RP) I'm not sure what side he would have ultimately gone with. Naturally I'd think he'd go with the demons, but I think the betrayal of the Seer might prompt him to go to action more quickly in the future.

Decisions... decisions..
Colour my interest as tickled. I shall keep an eye on this thread.

I think for me I hate more songs now that I used to love, than vice versa.

A lot of songs by the group Breaking Benjamin I can't stand to listen to. Not because of any fault of the songs, but because when I went through my 'angsty-teen' phase I listened to them over, and over, and over again. (Until The End by them is probably the best example. Though I still love the intro to the song.)

I have a similar issue with Two Steps from Hell. When I first found them years ago I was so obsessed that now I can't take a lot of their music seriously. Even their newer stuff doesn't jibe well with me. The only song I still love by them is This Must Be The Mothership, but even that's beginning to get old.

My favourite song of all time for a very long time was To The End by My Chemical Romance. I don't hate the song, but for the same reason as the ones above, I just listened to it way too much. I'd still classify it in my Top 50, but that's a huge step down from #1.

The only band I can think of that I used to hate but now love is Panic! At The Disco. Was always more of a FOB or MCR fanboy growing up, but as of late I'm listening to more P!ATD than either of the other two.
Years ago I wrote in a roleplay about rocks. Yep, rocks. It was more or less a parody as at the time there was a lot of drama happening within the community. The actual thread itself didn't last too long (a week or so at most), but it was really relaxing.

You could say the concept rocked.
If you are still looking for a partner I could be interested in a Mass Effect or Fallout based roleplay. I think we could get along pretty well in terms for what we are looking for in a partner.
'Ello everyone, I'm coming back to the writing world (after a small haitus) with a vengeance. After the stresses of real life I'm looking to kick back, write with some good pals, and hopefully just have some fun.

So let's get into the nitty-gritty shall we?

I have been roleplaying for close to a decade, and have experience in loads of different kinds of plots and styles. I am definitely drawn to more darker plots, but we'll get to that later. I'm in NST (1:30 hours ahead of EST), and typically am online for up to four/five hours a day. (Maybe more when the semester finishes.) While I am over 18 (almost 20) I don't enjoy sexually explicit plot-lines, so if you're looking for that kind of partner it's best to keep looking. Smut and me just don't get along.

Post lengths will differ depending on how I am feeling. Usually I'll pump out something that could be classified as Casual or Advanced. (I am willing to do either or.) I won't do anything less than a few paragraphs per post though.

Traditionally I play male characters, as I find it difficult to understand the physiology of women. And where I don't like to offend anyone I typically stick to the gender I know. That being said I am open to trying to play a female character, or have one as an NPC/secondary character. It depends on the plot I suppose. I don't care what gender you are or what gender your character is.

As stated before I don't write smut, but I'm also not into the romance scene. If chemistry crops up unintentionally that's cool and all, but I won't write a plot solely devoted to romance. I will also not do pairings (sorry about that). In truth I rather plots dedicated to rivalries, friendships, or even family. I find it easier to get into, and much more interesting to write out.

The way to my heart is dark plots
, with scheming characters, and a bleak core. I am not a fan of happily-ever-afters, and would much rather see my characters be forced into situations that would break them. Call me sadistic, but I just love seeing that kind of anger and stress be released in my OCs. A fair warning is if you can't handle the kind of twisted story-line of something like A Song of Ice And Fire/Game of Thrones, I'm not a good match. The only exception being a comedic story-line with satire and witty commentary. I love those almost as much as the twisted plots.

As for what I'll do in terms of plots, I'm willing to do both fandom and original plots. At the moment I'd love to write a RP around the games Mass Effect or Fallout. Though other fandoms (The Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, Borderlands, and Star Wars) I will also consider. In terms of original plots, I'll write anything science fiction, fantasy, or post-apocalyptic.

Let me know if you could be interesting in roleplaying with me. I'd love to hear from you.

I'd down for a Mass Effect based roleplay if you're still looking. I have a Batarian OC that I'd love to try out.

Whoo! I'm excited for this roleplay!

Gonna probably go with my Drell Engineer OC. Will have to tweek a few things so he fits within the story-line, but I think he's my best OC for the job.
Sorry I haven't been too active on here folks! Don't worry, this thing is still definitely going to happen very soon.

I will have the OOC up today @Legion-114! (Also in regards of you wanting to play one of the 'scattered' members of what remains of the Enclave - I don't mind at all.)

Considering that most of us are on board with the Quebec/Canadian setting, I'm going to green-light it. I've only been in Quebec a few times myself, but I think it could definitely work as a setting. (Besides, as a Canadian myself I'd love to see the roleplay set in my home-country.)

I also love the idea of the Mounties faction. I feel like that would be a super cool idea!

In terms of canon-factions I'm thinking that there will definitely be reference to them, and some characters could originate from them. However I'd like to see more non-canon factions having a bigger role in the plot. The only canon faction that I'm going to definitely green-light for a role within the major setting is the Child of Atom Church. More or less because those crazies seem to be everywhere, and it might be neat to see how the cult adapts with the new environment.

When the OOC is up, I'll post a link to it here. ^-^
