With that, the binding circle flared once, twice--and then it was gone, save for a few lingering rings around the knights' feet. The same blue as the magic, if they had in truth agreed to be bound, and a surly red if they hadn't.

The ensuing geas binding those was considerably less flashy, a brief flare of red before all the circles winked out entirely, and the witch gave a brief shrug as the night gave way once more to a sunny day. "There you have it; you'll all know the signal when the magic no longer binds you."

She turned to Thrinax, "You had best be off before the dragonslayer gets over here. Or at least go fight somewhere else."

The dragon gave a dismissive snort, but took the advice, rising into the air sure enough and wheeling round--once, twice--before gliding off away from the knights and Talderia both.

The witch gave them one more glance, lingering on Renar as if she was about to speak, then shrugged, "I'll be back for you at dawn, have fun."

Then she was gone too, leaving just the Iron Roses, an amused looking fairy... and an absolutely massive cake.

Sure enough, as dawn rose over the not quite real Talderia, the knights once again found themselves returned to their own rooms, and their own beds, still in the depth of night where they had left and with sunrise hours away.

No headaches, though, whatever the witch might have said. Aside from, perhaps, a hangover from any celebrations.

@XxFellsingxX You need to change the permissions so other people can see it. ^^;
Ah, I see that it DOES track campaign, neat.
Not sure if this link will work if it's hotlinked, but google drive deleted the name. Very rude. Still, obviously got stuff like appearance and "what is this companion like then", but… aside from the whole "I don't know what exists to spend my money on", that's mechanically done, I think?

Plus a question about where we're doing the rolling, obv.
Need to think more on the fluff of the concept and the priority, but I'm thinking I'll go Arcanist/Fury/Wayfarer. Might and Willpower specialised, despite the silliness.

all you need in life to wander around is the ability to punch things, and at least one weird spiritual buddy.

Uh.

Being riddled with bullets didn't seem great, but at least the man had neatly announced what he was going to do. And the room conveniently had pillars to hide behind to avoid the whole "being shot" thing. Now, if only she could've kept climbing up the exterior rather than face this… one, she'd actually have the target in her sights, but two, she could just stab this guy from behind.

Which wasn't to say that stealth was that bad of an idea. If she used that near-invisibility again… yes, if he was focusing on the bait Rudolf and Eve were providing, then he'd not notice the blur where she was. And even if her footsteps were a bit louder than normal to close in quickly, there was no chance that she could be heard over the sound of guns.

Now, hopefully none of her other teammates would resort to shooting wildly in his direction, there was still enough risk of being shot from the front. And… well, explaining would give the game away and there wasn't time.

3… 2… 1… now.

And hopefully she could get in under his guard and stab him.

She was doing a lot of stabbing from below recently.
"If you can find a way to get the message conveyed."
"Oh, everyone's around, be sure of that. Then, are there any more fights you muscleheads want to get out of the way first? Assuming you can get your opponents to agree. Everyone of note since Talderia's youth."
4. Create the major NATIONS and KINGDOMS for your map. Mark their boundaries and relationships. Each person at the table should contribute at least one kingdom or nation during this step, and provide some information about their customs, industry, or citizens. (We'll
5. Discuss the major HISTORICAL EVENTS that shaped your setting. Everyone should contribute at least one.

Mmmm, if we're doing Ghibliesque, that's an easy twofer, ain't it? Now we have one industrial, technological little island-clump that's expanding into being a hegemon/actual imperial power, and their rise is a definite fun point for recent history.

6. What are the ENIGMAS and MYSTERIES of your world? Questions left unanswered, and truths now indistinguishable from legend. Everybody should suggest at least one that they want to explore.

"Why do islands within a storm look like they fit together; were they larger islands or were all of them once joined?"

7. What THREATS cast a shadow over the world? Environmental disasters, furious deities, evil empires, or perhaps dangerous miasma? Each person at the table should suggest one, as the Gamemaster will likely shape their VILLAINS around these threats.
