I'm feeling really happy and pumped. Oh, and joyful. Haha.
Bio
Here's a list of things about me if you want to know a little bit more. Though if you actually want to get to know me, send me a PM, or talk over the OOC chat.
1. I don't generally like roleplays where my characters are forced to be serious 100% of the time; mostly because that's not how actual people work.
2. Yes, I use anime pictures for appearances. I've come to like anime less and less over the years, and personally only ever watch the movies now, and that's on incredibly rare occasions. I personally like using those over actual people faces, because people have too many specific details, and I can never find people faces that match the description I want. If you would like, I can use a text description instead.
3. I generally like to make 'pairs' of characters. Either characters that seriously contrast with each other, or work together really well but still have arguments and problems.
4. I've been forum roleplaying for just about 5 years now, and I've been tabletop roleplaying for 11 years now. I still suck at roleplaying despite being a 12 year veteran, but, what're you gonna do?
5. I really enjoy talking to people. Yes, society has gone downhill, but despite that I find serious enjoyment out of talking to people about anything. So, if I'm in an RP with you, just chat away with me. We can talk about mundane things, or go all-out on serious topics. I don't think I've come across a single person I've hated talking to, even if they were somewhat irritating or annoying. So please PM me, or just talk OOC.
6. I flipping love Inside Out, and as such, if you ever make an RP based around it, please invite me. I promise to behave of course. If one isn't made though, you know very well that I'll make my own, and I'll try my hardest to make it the best RP possible. Or, if you just want to talk about Inside Out, I'd love to do that as well.
7. Please make good characters. I understand Advanced Roleplayer's over on that section have no problem with this, but I don't like RPing over there. When I'm on casual roleplay, not many seem to care a whole lot about making good characters. They just make walking cliche's to get into an RP, and then completely change that character as the RP barely starts. It's annoying, lazy, and doesn't really make me want to accept you if I'm GM or co-GM.
Characters are the literal heart and soul of roleplaying, and should be treated as such. If you make your characters card-board cut-outs, it only tells me that you either don't care, are lazy, or that we absolutely need a moderate roleplay section on the forums to bridge the gap between posting 1-2 paragraphs with barely any work put into characters, and posting 6-8 paragraphs with enormously deep backstories, love, and care, put into characters.
8. I am a caring and nice guy, so don't be afraid to talk to me about anything. I'm fairly hard to offend, and even harder to make mad. I seriously enjoy getting to know my fellow members, so talk whenever you feel like it.
I'll post once I'm done reminiscing. And also, rearranging my favorite game series list. FF constantly went between the number 4 and 3 spot for a while. But I can say with confidence that it's officially locked 2nd place down now.
Is this only towards Kristof though? That would be fairly entertaining for a while. Don't know if it will still be funny in the long run though.
I've officially played all of the main series titles for FF about a few months ago. I can now say that it holds my definite #2 spot for my favorite game series of all time. I've gotta start getting the spin-offs now though. Starting with the fighting games on the PSP. XD
Plus, the clumsy doctor archetype isn't one I see much on RPs. I've personally RPed with people who've done a cocky doctor, and a fairly well done Badass doctor. They were both in action heavy RPs, but my only problem with them was that they all too often acted incredibly serious when they didn't need to. I prefer more silly characters over the incredibly bland serious ones. It's why I never liked Cloud but absolutely loved Zidane when it came to FF protagonists.
Then what would those poorly made characters equate too? Barnacles on the side of an abandoned old ship out at sea?
Now the question is, should I, or Kristoff post next?
This is certainly a problem. Also, I hope that doctor NPC sticks around, I find him hilarious for some reason. The way he talks to himself sounds golden.
For whatever reason, most people don't trust URL links because they could just lead you into a rick roll or some Smashmouth music video instead. Though, I'll link the two songs I'm thinking of.
For if we decide to just run away, and try to get out of the convention, suspenseful and intimidating music, with a techno feel because future.
Meta Ridley's Theme
If we actually decide to face the thing with some sort of strategy, and we manage to get Kristof back up for help. menacing, and intimidating at the same time. because it will feel near hopeless, this song works perfectly. Metal Choir Singing.
Roar of the Departed Souls
The second song might be a bit overkill though. Might be more appropriate if we were fighting an army of them. Or a corrupt god bent on eating the world.
You need Tek to post then! Also, I wish we could post videos again, because I have such a good song for this encounter going on in my head.
I will spam PM Mahz to bring back the BBCode for inserting videos!
Kurano Tanaka
Kurano ducked instinctively as a bullet whizzed over his head. he turned to look at the source of the bullet, and shots rang out from the officer he had just spoken to. Kurano covered his right ear, which rang from the sound of the pistol being fired. a foreign girl with a guard dog it looked like, was the one who shouted at him. Perhaps a hunter of the creatures? Though, as Kurano thought this, his hope was near instantly dashed. Within a single moment, the girl seemed to disappear. Kurano could hear the faint sounds of snarling before she was sent flying towards the two demonic children. Kurano would have uttered a sigh of relief if he were in different circumstances, though now something was more apparent to him. This one didn't seem as random as the other reports he had read.
Kurano nearly went into shock again, but an adrenaline began to flow through him. His head pulsed, and his limbs began to go numb. He heard the officer say something for only a moment before more shots were fired. Kurano ducked and moved towards a table to get underneath it, grabbing the orange-haired girl's shaking arm. A near ferocious sound came from the beast another time, and Kurano heard the officer's advice loud and clear through the ringing. "We should run." Kurano's heart had started to pound harder and louder. He nodded towards the policeman and stood up from his position. "I'll make sure she gets out of here with us. A kid doesn't deserve to die to one of those things. And neither do you, sir." He made sure to get a firm grip on the girl's hand and started to make towards the hallway leading to the entrance. Kurano could see a few officers down and out on the ground, likely trying to recover from whatever that blast was earlier. He went to swoop in for one of the pistols laying on the ground.
Minami Shiroka
Minami covered her ears and nearly fell to the ground once the policeman emptied as many rounds as he could into thin air. She had no idea what anyone was doing, but Minami could tell something evil was in the room. her arm was grabbed forcefully, and she was nearly dragged under a nearby table, before the man dragging her stood up. He looked down at Minami with a determined look, and started to dash towards the entrance. Minami tried her best to keep up, his grip tugging on her arm as they ran.
Alright, I'll be posting very shortly.
My posts are taking longer now to make for some reason. I get too sidetracked on the music I'm listening to I guess.
Sure, go ahead and post. We need to get to a point where we can help Kristoff at the least. The problem is that on your list, after them Naoto is the biggest target.
